Natural Bridge General Store and Cafe

Went for a quick lunch after visiting the zoo. Wonderful, fresh food and very quick service. Would have given 4 stars but two downfalls:
No high chair or booster seats for children
No free water, you have to pay for bottled water.
Overall, the food was top notch and homemade. I had the chicken special: delicious fried chicken, to die for biscuit, apples and mashed potatoes, and my husband had a sandwich, loaded with meat, fresh bread, Mac salad.

Wow, what a great place! Not many places to stop around these here parts so this was a welcome neon open sign. Had a great salad, my husband had a grilled cheese on sour dough and a tomato Gouda soup that was delicious. My son was very pleased with his choice: the daily special of an open faced turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, and homemade apple sauce. All divine! They also sell in the country store a few local craft brews and some fresh made cupcakes. Very neat place!

They open 7:30am. Fresh biscuits sandwich for breakfast. Bacon is delicious. Nice stop on the way to the natural bridges.

This store had anything you would need– talk about convenience! The 2 employees were nice enough, and the food was delicious! We ordered two breakfast sandwiches– one egg and sausage biscuit and one egg and country ham. Both about $ 3 each and wayyyyyyy better than a $ 5 biscuit sandwich from a fast food place! The seating was spacious, and the food was delicious. Glad we went on our trip to Natural Bridge– would go back again!

We were looking for a nice spot to grab some lunch before going to the Safari Park right down the road. This store/​café had a very nice homey feel, selling MTO sandwiches and salads as well as random housegoods and several dry goods (think bread, jams, ham, candy etc).
I enjoyed my sandwich (ugh can’t remember the name) but it had an italian meat, turkey, cheese, and their special relish on top. Very tasty and filling. Also had a side of mac and cheese which I thought was ok, but not very flavorful. My bf had the Sunday special with roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans and a biscuit along with their apple butter. The greens seemed to be of the canned variety, but he seemed to enjoy the rest of the meal. Price wise, it was a pretty good deal, considering they also use Boar’s head meats
Fair amount of seating off to the side with fountain drinks available to you. The two employees were friendly and there is ample parking outside.

As previous reviewers noted, made-​to-​order deli sandwiches, a few salads, and lots of other items for sale here. The real winner was a rustic sweet potato pastry/​danish — scratch crust, dense puréed sweet potato filling, not too sweet. Wow. Wish I had bought all of them!
Good stop for a quick lunch if visiting Natural Bridge. They have a picnic table outside and a small table on the porch.

Had a very good lunch. The newly renovated store and deli was attractive and clean. My husband had the pastrami, which was delicious and I had the special which was good as well.

Excellent made to order deli sandwiches. Awesome staff gets your order right on time, every time. I especially love their breakfast. The store is incredibly clean, with a country feel. This general store also has everything from motor oil, to beer, to playing cards, to condoms. Everything you need for a good Saturday night. Stop by here and get yourself some food, and load up on the necessities.
