My husband and I have flown 4 – 5 time to and from this airport and there has always been problems. They have overbooked flights, been late & the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. If I could give 0 stars I would because it does not deserve 1. I will never fly to or from this airport again and it’s very sad because it is so convenient for me. Just save yourself time and stress and go to Houston.

We park our Merlin N307PA at the old JerryWare Terminal, north side Fire Station. Ramp guys, FireStation folks, service our Merlin. Always 24 – 7 access here and best of service for fuel and gpu starts. 2 decent crew cars if needed for flight crew. Good amenities for crew and pax needs. Very nice front desk, Elizabeth, always gets our rentcars set up. Good and easy place to meet new pax here, as is easy to find. Short walk ¼mile over to new terminal if needed. Rental car guys all familiar for this location also. We like this place.

The people working security check in were incredibly rude. I have never… two of the ladies were aweful. One of them pretty threw this man’s bucket at him when he was waiting to get it from the scanner. We all just looked at each other. I wish I knew her name. There needs to be some attitude adjustments.

The only reason I am giving this one stars is because there is nothing lower! I travel weekly for work and was glad to have to option to connect thru Dallas. I have flown out of this airport several times since AA took over and not one time has the flight ever been on time either way! If you need to be at your destination within a time frame you are better off driving to Houston.

This is a small airport that serves Beaumont and Port Arthur. The only airline that services this airport is American Eagle flying a couple of times a day to and from Dallas. It is a very short 50 minutes flight in their 45 seat regional jet. Visit their website to get latest flying times as these could change. Check-in is one hour before departure for domestic and one and half hours before departure for international flights. I did not know this and landed up the customary two hours before for check-in. As the airport is so close to city center I just went back home and returned after an hour. Using this airport reminded me of my flying experiences in the eighties and nineties where check-in was actually only one hour before departure even for international flights and security check was a more relaxed affair. Definitely choose this airport if you are visiting Beaumont or Port Arthur rather then coming in to Houston and then driving for two hours as the flight tickets to Houston or Jack Brooks Regional Airport via Dallas are almost the same cost.

A small, local airport that has just one airline, American Eagle, flying to/from one destination, DFW. But it works! Flew into BPT on 4th of July. Was told the car rental counters were closed, but I had made my reservation with Hertz in April before they decided to close for the holiday(don’t others fly on holidays?!) Good news was that they opened JUSTFORME since I had a reservation! I was tickled to death! On the way out of BPT, I wish the American Eagle attendant would’ve had a smidge of customer service in her. I showed up at noon for my 1:30 flight and needed to check a bag. The gal at the counter pretty much told me she was taking a break and I could use the kiosk, which I did, but still had to wait until her break was over to get the tag that printed behind the counter onto my bag. She told me all about how they had to check people in and then load the plane and that they didn’t give them time to «tinkle.» Really? TMI!!! I’ve flown into/out of BPT a lot in my life. This reincarnation looks and feels the nicest in their history of the«new» terminal.

I love having this option to fly right into SE Texas rather than drive 1.5−2 hours from Houston. Parking is easy, free and convenient. Rental cars are available. Friendly staff. Not sure what the other reviewer was experiencing with the«noise»… I’ve been through here many times and remember hearing radio only once… and it was country music. Yes, I have to pay a bit more, but to save time, its worth it to me. Yes, they only have one carrier(Continental), but again, to save time, it’s worth it to me.

Any airport that resorts to blaring commercial radio into the terminal gets a thumbs-down in my book. Tiny to begin with, and only serving one carrier, this airport is short on amenities and way too small for the amount of senseless, unimaginative noise that they pour into it.
