Came in one time to order a slice of cheese. The pizza was just sitting right there in the open on a hot summer day. The cashier was counting money on the counter. When I ordered a slice, he went and grabbed the pizza without even washing his hands or putting on gloves. You do not serve people food if you’re touching money!

What type of pizzeria only has one type of pizza (cheese) available by the slice?
This one.
When I saw that, I was inclined to order something else. However, the menu had NO PRICES. So I went with the cheese pizza and received something oily.
The whole experience left a lot to be desired.

Great food here. The owners (Nick and Manny) are the best, very friendly. Highly recommend the grilled chicken sub, the specialty pizzas are great. Check out their other joint, Fresco’s, for a great breakfast

I’ve been to Nicholas’ a few times now and it’s one of those place where you can grab a quick lunch or dinner. The pizza is fine but this place isn’t going to be our go to pizza place. They also offer typical subs you would find in a pizza shop. All in all a place to go if we were in a bind but I’m not going out of my way to go there.

This is absolutely the BEST place in town (& in the whole area) to get pizza, subs, salads & pasta. Their food is always fresh, the people who work there are always friendly & courteous, you just cannot go wrong eating here! We’ve been coming here for many, many years & it’s always maintained their high quality… some places start off well & then slip, not here. They keep the great quality going. No place is ever perfect (although I’ve never had a problem here) but they are the kind of place that if you ever did have an issue, they would make it right: all you would have to do is politely ask. Great place & worth the ride if you’re not in Needham. (Their breakfast restaurant is right next door & just as great!)

I saw a large line at lunch time so I figured the food must be pretty good. They took my order right away but failed to tell me it would be a 40 minute wait. I spent my whole lunch break waiting for a small pizza. I would have ordered a few slices but they didn’t have any ready. When my pizza finally arrived it was so greasy and hot I didn’t have time to eat it until after work. It didn’t mater if I reheated a slice or ate it cold it was terrible pizza. With so many other places in Needham I won’t be back

Tonight i sent my husband to Nicholas for a salad and ziti with chicken. The salad was good but the chicken was so burnt it was black and so tough you could not eat it. I wouldn’t give it to an animal never mind a human. Into the trash it went. The ziti was over cooked and split. I have been a customer for 30 years and they have seen the last of me. Did they forget, Comela is up the street?

Ordered 3 pizzas delivered. Pizza was good, Delicious crust and well prepared. Went with 2 specialty pizzas and one we ‘designed’. Service was friendly and prompt, pizzas arrived when they said they would, and they were hot. Thanks, great meal.

Best pizza place in Needham hands down. They have the best bread, fresh ingredients, and fair prices. This is the only place in Needham my family will go to!

My favorite slice of Greek-America pizza can be found right in downtown Needham. Nicholas’ just does it right for me.
They also have your standard sub shop selections. I particularly like the cheese steak and roast beef. There salads are standard too. A good choice.
Sometimes the service is slow. They are very popular in town. Make sure you call ahead to order if you are in a hurry. Parking can be a drag. Limited parking out front, plenty of parking out back.

Be ready to spend your entire lunch hour going to get your take-out from this place.
Once you arrive you’ll have to wait close to 10 minutes to place your order and another 20 to actually get it. That’s just for subs, wraps and salads, which are no different than what you’d find at any other sub shop. The wait doesn’t seem much better for call-ins, who were also complaining about the long delay. I don’t want to find out how long I’d have to sit there to get a pizza.

The best Pizza in Needham! everything is so fresh, their sauce tastes like home-made. They have very friendly service, it’s like walking into Cheers.
The only negatives I can think of, is that parking is tough where they are located, and I wish they delivered more often, other than that I just can’t think of anything bad about this place!
