Located on Route 45 in downtown Neoga, this was a pleasant surprise. The inside has been completely remodeled, except for the hardwood floors, which are the original. Included in the décor are old pictures of Neoga that capture the feel of the town. The food was burgers, salads, and entrees, including steak, fish, ribs, and prime rib. Attached to the Bistro is the Firehouse Bar and Grill, which has its own specialities, and is a nice little bar. The menu included special items featuring several of the local vineyards, and the wine list was pretty good. The prime rib was very well prepared, and the pork loin that my wife had was splendid. The portions were good sized, the seasonings were perfect, without using too much salt either. The prices were very reasonable, and judging by the crowd, this is a popular place. There were a number of people from out-of-town, besides us, who had stopped for dinner. We plan on returning here each time we come back to visit family.
