Hadn’t been there in a while and we went the other night after Lemonbar, we have been missing out! Crabcake tacos and raw oysters were on point and the service was outstanding. Drank quarts of beer because why not!

5 follow dozen oysters and quarts of Budweiser… what more do I have to say! Sliders has always been the spot to hang out with friends and enjoy some local seafood. Never had a bad meal or bad experience here and have always left happy. Keep it up sliders!

Service is good, location is awesome. Priced far too high for what you get, even if the cooks got it right(and they didn’t for us). Seafood pasta was pretty small — had almost no marinara, two underfried shrimp, two underfried fish pieces, and 2 mussels. $ 15. No thanks. If you charge that much you have to get it right 100% of the time. Apps were good, maybe a bit overpriced for the quantity. For what we spent, we would have had a much, much better dining experience at Fish Company up the street. I think it’s an old beaches institution that’s more about culture, drinks, and atmosphere than food. Eat elsewhere and you may come away happy.

Always a great choice when at the beach. Sliders has indoor and outdoor seating, and the best oysters around. Many other great fish dishes on the menu as well. Don’t miss the key lime pie!

My first visit to Sliders was at the oyster themed«Foodie Adventure» hosted by Jacksonville Restaurant Reviews! Loved the outdoor seating, the staff, and the creativity coming from the kitchen! Parking isn’t fun, but once you get beyond that part, you’re home free!

We came here a few months ago and were impressed, today not so much. The oysters were the size of dimes.

Service a little slow but restaurant was very busy. BBQ oysters are awesome. Really enjoyed butternut grouper and seafood meatloaf. White chocolate blueberry cheesecake was fantastic and worth the calories!

PROS: Fun place with lots of atmosphere Great outside seating area Close to the beach Desserts are great Decent prices CONS: Most of the fish dishes seem to taste the same — sort of bland

LOVELOVELOVE Sliders! It is my boyfriend and I’s favorite restaurant in the NB area because their food is scratch made and at AFFORDABLE prices. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because we went in recently and were not greeted in a very timely manner. Neither my boyfriend and I are high maintenance both coming from a hospitality and service industry background. It should be common practice to drop waters at a table without even being asked, that way you save yourself a step IF you are that busy. Either way we waited a long time for water, that by then we had our drink and food order ready and she was still nowhere to be found so we got up and left. We will not hold this against the restaurant because we love their food and the service is usually pretty good. Their Oyster Happy Hour on Thursday can’t be beat. half price oysters, 3 $ fish tacos and half priced house wine. Their fresh catches are always delicious! One of my all time faves is a special soup they have made in the past– a butternut crab soup with a warm piece of jalapeño cornbread! I could drink a gallon of it lol. We will definitely still go back, it is just my hope that the owners can tighten up their service.

Used to be my absolute favorite restaurant in Neptune Beach. Recent visits have been disappointing — wait staff seems to change frequently & recent servers have been pleasant but pretty clueless — ‘this is my 2nd day’ ‘1st week…’; menu no longer has much loved items(shrimp, lobster tail, dolphin combo, Tuna entrée’…) Manager too busy gabbing with staff to interact with customers — will give Sliders one more try — hope springs eternal!

Stopped in for a few drinks and apps. Sitting at the bar with my wife and enjoying the atmosphere. I tried a drink called«A Day at the Beach» and liked it a lot more than I expected. Very refreshing and enjoyable. My wife got the tiki chicken app and I got the Triple C fritters. Both were excellent. The frittered are grilled and not fried, excellent choice and full of flavor. My hat is off to the chef!

Great food at great prices! Great atmosphere with a friendly staff. Definitely get the Cajun chicken pasta if you’re looking for a lot of food for a great price.

Go here!!! I absolute love Sliders, the wait staff are always so friendly, the food is on point, and the vibe is relaxed and beachy. My favorite entrée is the butternut grouper, can not go wrong with this choice! I always sit outside because the atmosphere is nice. It can get very crowded on weekends so plan to have a bit of a wait, never a big problem because you can just walk around the town center area to fill time. They have a happy hour on Thursdays with oysters and tacos! If you’re young and on a budget, like this gal, you should hit up the happy hour. But for real… eat here. At least get the cookie ice cream sandwich. do it for me.

The atmosphere here was pleasant. We ate on the outdoor, covered deck with live music. We took advantage of the Happy Oyster Hour available on Thursdays. The raw oysters were good, as was the Bay-seasoned shrimp. The fish tacos were okay. The New Orleans style gumbo over mashed potatoes was full of seafood variety and pretty good, but not excellent. It had a greasy appearance that detracted from the culinary experience. Overall, we had a nice meal, but probably wouldn’t come back.

Great service and the food is fantastic. Had the steamed shrimp appetizer, the seafood pasta, and the seafood gumbo. The gumbo is a bit mild but very tasty. The seafood pasta is perfect and very fresh! Will be back next time we’re in Jacksonville.

Great dinner spot, loved sitting outdoors though I wish places like this wouldn’t allow live music acts. If I wanted live music, I’d go to a music venue. The fresh halibut was incredible with the cracker crust, and the appetizer steak on toast sliders were great. Service was good, even though the place was crowded.

This was a folio bite club event that I was so graciously allowed to join my husband for. This was my first time to experience Sliders. The food was excellent tasting menu of their newly revised menu. When I say tasting I do mean to say tasty! From the first course to the desert, they have a vast assortment of tastiness. I for one am big fan of the tasting menus, with my non existent appetite nowadays. The tasting menus allow you to taste a variety of items. Small bites are right up my alley. Thank you Folio and Sliders for a lovely evening of very yummy treats.

DH and I ate here last night, mainly for the $ 5/dozen oyster special. Mike was our server and he was awesome – he was very friendly and personable and was quick and efficient. We got the oysters(of course,) the artichoke seafood dip, tiki scallops, and key lime pie. The food was fabulous and priced just right. I love that this is a locally owned restaurant and that the seafood is fresh. I also like that Sliders is a casual venue with a laid back vibe. We will definitely be frequenting this place more often.

Wanted some fresh seafood in Neptune Beach, and Sliders was close, so we decided to eat here. Ordered drinks — Sangria — and thought is mostly tasted like red wine with an orange tossed in it. Food was ok. Nothing great, just ok. Not a super memorable meal. I actually had to look up pictures after seeing I had a check-in, because I could not remember eating here.

This was my second visit to Sliders and I had pretty much the same reaction. This time I had the filet wrapped in bacon with scallops wrapped in bacon on top. I am pretty sure this was not a filet mignon, but it wasn’t bad. The bacon, on the other hand, was a real let-down. It was all fat and no meat. I actually removed it completely and did not eat it because it was completely white and very unappetizing. We had the fish dip to start with and it was very good. We actually ordered another one because everyone at the table liked it so much. I think this is a good place to come for a drink after being at the beach. I probably will not revisit for dinner though.
