Ruby Tuesday

Ate here for lunch had appetizer dipper sampler, it was very good. Waiter was very fast and courteous. Salad bar was great. Would definitely eat here again!

I reviewed the Ruby Tuesday in Lakewood and I was not impressed with the service there and the inconsistent food quality. This location in Neptune is close to my work so a co-​worker and I went here for lunch. It seems that the service in this location is much better than the Lakewood location. Our servers were very nice, very helpful and the hostess was very pleasant.
I went with my favourite meal, the Parmesan Chicken Pasta, and it was delicious. Nice and hot, coating on the chicken was crispy, plenty of cheese, pasta cooked al dente. Could have done with a bit more parmesan sauce, but still very good.
They seem to be training some new staff so be patient with them. Our server was new and was being shadowed by an experienced server, but she was doing quite well.

We use to come to this location but after yesterday staff and management were clueless. Embarrassed while 2 managers and waiter coming over after stewing up check 3 times. I will choose the mall… just bad business skills

We had great service and a great meal at this location! Management must be different! We were pleasantly surprised!

The service here is the worst. Waitress completely ignored my table and took way to long to bring food and the check. I VE had this waitress before in the past. Never going back to this location.

Sorry Ruby, I actually had to walk out of this place without eating. I ordered a simple chicken salad at the bar which is kinda hard to screw up. I wish I took a picture, the salad looked like it was under a heat lamp and one bite of the chicken made me want to gag. I returned my meal and left… not recommended. Oh, and the service was below average– restaurant cleanliness failed too.

Yet another restaurant I only go to when armed with a coupon. There are two of these chain restaurants in the area: one in Monmouth Mall and this one near K-​Mart.
I tend to go to this one because it isn’t as crowded as the mall location but the service leave a lot to be desired. I’ve had service issues on my last three visits — mainly where’s my server?
Yesterday, I ordered a full rack of ribs to go and a salad bar to eat in. (BTW: They hate that.) Normally, I don’t review chain restaurants but this particular Ruby Tuesdays needs to be singled out as having very poor service almost every time I go there.
I’m no teenager but this RT tends to attract an older crowd. I’m not judging; rather, I’m just making an observation. Maybe because of this, the staff has lost any sense of urgency or they just don’t care. My son, who works in a restaurant, says service like this is top-​down meaning that the folks in charge don’t care.
I was half way through my salad and still hadn’t received my drink. I got up to find my waiter — any waiter — a bartender — anyone — and couldn’t find a single person to ask for a drink. I was tempted to walk into the kitchen (which I’ve done before) to get some service but didn’t.
After filling up on salad and a concoction of pasta, red pepper and cheese from the salad bar I was ready to hit the road with my rack of ribs. I was ready but where was my server? About 10 minutes later he came by the table and asked if he should place the order for the ribs. What??? I placed the order for the ribs 20 minutes ago. I’m sure you can imagine how it went from here.

Mainly service issues. Poorly run franchise.

Ruby Tuesdays is always consistent. Avacado turkey burger, roasted spaghetti squash, and grilled zucchini… Yummy! All the selections were tasteful. The of course had to too a completely nutritionally balanced meal with CHEESECAKE with blackberry sauce… I know, defeated the purpose but… Ooh soo good!

Went here with my wife and son after a long day of shopping. First they messed up my sons order, then they an attitude about it. But what was worse was when the appetizer arrived, the chicken tenders were not cooked all the way. They tried to serve me and my family RAW chicken. We left immediately after telling the manager. She was pretty shocked and apologized., my son crying also added theatrical effect. Bottom line: don’t ever go here. This place is bad news.

Horrible. The waitress was rude and short with us. We ordered Soutwest Spring rolls. 5 min later she tells us they ran out. I ordered the minis and asked if the salad can just count for my friends salad… she said no. I have had waitresses honor this request before, and considering they ran out of spring rolls you would think she would check with management or honor it. So i cancelled the minis and ordered crab bites as my dinner. A few minutes after that my dinner shows up but my friends did not. The waitress said since mine was a fried food item the computer moved it up in the que and sent it out early. What a mess. Once again she was short and snippy.

Very disappointed! I was excited to see all the great additions Ruby Tuesday has added to their menu since I have not been in a few years. Too bad the service and portions did not match the price point! If not for the manager Renee, this restaurant would receive NO STARS! I paid $ 18.99 for a very small crab cake, three shrimp, and cold lobster tail. I thought I was being punked when it came out! I agree with the other review that their ranch is GROSS! The server was pretty awful. He forgot things over and over. We just assumed he was new, but he wasn’t! He has been there for years! NEVER going back. EVER.

WORST RUBY TUESDAY EVER! Awful service, minuscule portions, and gross ranch dressing! Went there after a lovely day shopping, server messed up our order numerous times and forgot our appetizer all together! Food arrived a degree away from being cold. The waiting for all corrections on our order edged the food into coldness. The ONLY saving grace is the manager Renee. She apologized thoroughly and went above and beyond to make amends. All in all, I still will never return and this left a bad taste for Ruby Tuesday in general.
