Let’s face facts: when you go to a «no appointment necessary» discount hair cuttery, you’re kind of rolling the dice with your hair, figuratively speaking. You would have a difficult time literally rolling dice with your hair… nevermind. Anyway, you likely have no history with the person holding a pair of sharp objects near your skull and, aside from a state-issued certificate, no assurance that they actually know how to cut hair; never mind the idiosyncracies of YOUR hair and style. Personally, I always struggle with whether the person knows how to cut men’s longer hair since I have left more than one establishment squinting at my ginger locks and wondering if I accidentally got a woman’s do. So, why put yourself through this? Cause it’s cheap, sucka! $ 15 for a haircut? Hell yeah, I’m not in front of a camera for any noticable percentage of time during the week. Snip away. It grows back! With that said, I’ve had good luck with Great Clips. There’s even been a fairly stable stylist who has become familiar with cutting my hair. This location has been the gamble with the best odds that I’ve found.
