This is one of the last places i’d ever eat at or get takeout from just because the quality of the food and restaurant itself is so scuzzy. Some of the food is okay, I really only liked the sesame chicken. The rice was eh, the crab rangoons were questionable and the service was just awful. Lastly I would like to share a line from one of the ‘Not recommended’ reviews that made me laugh: «If you are a person interested in paying for diarrhea go here. Food poisoning for 3 days.»

The outside of the building is a mess and now there is graffiti all over the side wall. When I see a restaurant not caring about the outside, I wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Clean it up and maybe I’ll venture inside to try your food someday.

If you want cold, dried out food this is the place to go. WORST place to eat. Arrived 4:45 pm … no warm food. The string beans were good as was the chocolate brownie like cake. At least the tea was hot.

I’m not sure why this place has such bad reviews on here. It’s a regular casual Chinese buffet, so it’s nothing particularly special, but I think the food is decent and I’ve never had a problem with it. Their selection of shrimp is particularly awesome. They have a bunch of different kinds and the coconut shrimp is my personal favorite. Other than that, they have all the regular Chinese food staples. The atmosphere is kind of weird and 80s, but I’ve never really payed too much attention to it.

Both New York and China should be offended. The food quality on the buffet is questionable to say the least, the place smells like a dive bar, and I left wanting to take several showers … and maybe have my stomach pumped, just to be sure. It amazes me that anyone would pay for this and yet the tables were pretty full. Go figure. The staff are very nice, and that’s the only reason I gave it two stars, but they need to get their act together with the food which is really just horrible.

If you are familiar with the Sodexho effect(if you’ve ever been to college and had the unfortunate task of easting food on-campus, or have ever been to jail), you will get that from eating here. The sauce was runny(WTF?) on all the chicken. It was really not that great. Perhaps I’ve been spoiled by the buffets in Raynham.

It’s a Chinese buffet, what else can you expect. I blame my father and this place for myself being on a BMI when I was ten years old! My father, after his divorce, would take us here every Thursday.(If you’re wondering, I look fantastic now!) One word comes to mind when I think of New York China Buffet: Sloppy. The atmosphere is terrible and the neon lights streaming along the arched ceiling make it look like a strip club. The only two things here that taste good are the crab ragoons and the salt N pepper shrimp. But how hard is it tom make a good crab ragoon? The waitresses, who by the way are lost in translation, reach over your food to grab a plate that your not finished with.(But they are very sweet). The food here is almost repulsive. Save the cash for a nice Hemorrhoid cream or something.
