Cheap prices = slow service & long lines even at the self check out. Plus it’s hard to find someone who is even willing to help you or even knows what is going on.

Just getting someone to answer the phone takes forever! Then no one answers the phone in the photo department to ask one simple question! I asked for the manager on duty who tried to help. This is why I do not frequent Walmart. Can’t wait for Meijer to open in our area!

This was a really nice Walmart. Much nicer(& newer) than the one by me that I’ve been to umpteen times. Everything was laid out real nicely and was easy to find. The store was very clean and organized. If only I lived closer to this one, I’m sure I’d frequent it and choose it over the one near my apt.

This Walmart store has better variety of items and better prices compared to the Harvard IL store which is just about 10 miles away. Taxes are lower compared to other stores in IL. However customer service is poor. I have tried to return an item bought with a credit card and requested in-store credit. Other Walmart stores jump at the opportunity since instore cdt means the money stays within their own store for returns. But was initially told this is not possible by two associates who evidently did not know the rules. When I asked to speak to a manager, then the situation was set right when the manager educated them that for returns, providing an in-store credit to customer is ok even if purchase was with a credit card. Unbelievable that so many associated do not know the rules correctly. This, for one, never happens in IL stores from my experience.

Other than groceries i’ve never bought anything from here, mostly do to the fact they don’t have what i come for most of the time. Not sure how i can dislike a new store this much.
