It was fine. The place is clean, nicely appointed and the staff is friendly. I have no issues with the chain or Hotwire(booked through them). My «complaint» is the television and the wi-fi. I really wonder why Phillips would make a TV that takes minutes to come on, minutes to change the channel and weirdly defaults to channel 23. Why not the channel you were last watching-like most TV’s on planet Earth? Then I have to ask this– who in the chain bought hundreds of this terrible model of TV– I hope they have been fired. The Wi-Fi. I think I could literally hear the old modem sound. If you are old enough you remember the picture«painting» in from the top. Well it was almost like that. Its been a long time since I clicked a story and had to wait for it to load. Its a good thing it was«free»(not really obviously) . Go here to get away from it all, one of those un-plugged weekends.

What you would expect from a hotel chain in a small town. Well kept, clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast selection. Only reason it gets 4 stars, and this is a personal preference, the beds seemed a little soft, otherwise, 5 stars it would of gotten.

Perfect experience. Clean, simple, friendly, convenient, not too expensive either. The breakfast included hot items, however they weren’t that tasty due to being mass produced by holiday inn. Still, better than I expected.

Stayed here for one night on a last minute reservation. This hotel was amazingly clean and up to date. We got the king bed suite and it was plenty spacious, though the bed wasn’t in separate room as lots of other suites have. I did call ahead to check on this and knew it ahead of time, so it wasn’t an issue. Checking was quick and easy. The only real disappointment was that the pool was outdoor(which I didn’t realize when booking because I was in a hurry) and there was some rain coming in, so he kids were disappointed they couldn’t swim. The breakfast was adequate, I mean, it is a holiday inn express, don’t expect much. But, there are plenty of restaurants nearby to eat at. Overall, if you need to come to this area and are looking for a nice hotel and don’t need the ritz, this place fits the bill nicely. Would definitely stay here again myself.

Currently staying here and so far pretty good! Room and hotel is clean. Staff is friendly. Beds very comfortable. Even passed my husband’s OCD criteria ;-) The best is the breakfast they offer is much better than the typical continental breakfast of dry doughnuts. They had eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, make your own pancakes, plus all the other typical stuff. The in room TV is good quality HD. They also have two big TVs in lobby areas as well as WiFi and public use computer/printer. The only problem I’ve found is a high pitched squeaky noise from my shower and a hair hanging out of the door key envelope when checking in at the front desk. I’d stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Fairly new hotel convenient to everything in New Been I can think of. Nice and open lobby where you can sit and eat a standard hotel free breakfast. The room is clean with a VERY comfortable bed, fridge, flat screen TV and microwave. The tub floor is about as slick as mud so we had to use the scary rubber bath mat. I’ll take athlete’s foot over a broken hip, thanks! Had to deduct a star because of a mix up with the reservation. I booked through a third party vendor so I couldn’t select the bed arrangement prior to check-in(per the hotel). When we got here they had«assigned» us two rooms with one king size bed each as that was their«standard». The lady at the front desk said there was no way to change rooms. A bit odd — this was through a company travel group, what if it had been three coworkers. Would you think two adults would really want to share 1 bed? Anyways, we’re making it work. :) definitely would stay here again.

From the moment we walked through the front door, we were very happy we choose this hotel instead of some of the others in the area. The front desk staff were very welcoming and gracious, as they greet everyone who walks through the doors. The lobby is very attractive and very clean. As I looked around the lobby and breakfast area, it just made me want to sit down and stay awhile. The breakfast is far more than the usual continental breakfast offered at some hotels these days. The offerings this morning were omelets, pancakes, sausage, gravy, biscuits, all kinds of pastries, a variety of breads for toasting, cereals, oatmeal, fruits, etc. Very tasty and I was quite pleased with being able to have a nice filling breakfast without going anywhere else. Our room is a very nice-sized room, beautifully maintained, super clean, and the bathroom is great with more than enough towels for the 2 of us. The king-sized bed is very comfortable with plenty of pillows. If we’re ever back in this area, we would most assuredly stay here again. My husband and I are very pleased with this choice. We made our reservations through Travelocity and couldn’t be happier with this selection.

I had made my reservations through Expedia several months before my trip. I called the hotel to confirm my reservation right before I boarded my connecting flight, only to find out that they did not have a room reservation for me on file! I spent the next couple of hours after I landed, talking to various agents at Expedia and Holiday Inn. Expedia said that they faxed in the reservation many times, and even received a confirmation back from the hotel. Still, after all that, I still had NOROOM. I was so turned off by the whole fiasco that I never even bothered driving an hour to the hotel. Expedia and the hotel also refused to issue me a refund! Whatever. they can keep my money. I simply got another room somewhere else. I will never ever use Expedia or even dream of staying at a Holiday Inn again. What was I thinking?
