Jersey Mike’s Subs

Okay first thing: I don’t expect to get jalapenos on my sandwich when I order a Philly. Yet my wife and I both ordered regular Philly Cheese Steaks and got jalapenos on each. In the unlikely event that I ever go here again, I will make sure to tell them NO JALAPENOS on a PHILLY CHEESE STEAK!
Second thing: The diet Pepsi was out. I told the cashier after he took my order. He took great pains to indicate on the card reader that I could leave a tip if I chose to but apparently switching out the soda isn’t on his list of high priorities. I waited until my food came out and went to try the diet Pepsi. No dice. I opted for regular Pepsi. Twenty minutes later another patron told the same cashier that the diet Pepsi was out. He went and switched the box out and miracle upon miracles I got my diet Pepsi on the next refill.
Third thing: Two sets of customers were standing by their tables because NOBODY was coming out and cleaning the tables off when customers left. I counted five, FIVE tables (and there aren’t many more in this location) that were not cleaned. I also witnessed several patrons walking to the napkin dispenser to clean out their chairs which were not touched. Finally one of the patrons walked up to one of the employees with a towel in his hand and asked him to clean their tables.
My take: There is no supervision or accountability here. Nobody is leading this team. These kids are basically allowed to all stand behind the bar, where they prefer to be, instead of getting out and cleaning up their store and taking care of the patrons. No high level of urgency is present here. I was terribly disappointed in the low level of service and the equally low quality of the food. The sandwich probably would have tasted great had they not heaped on jalapenos. I was so disappointed I told my wife that we won’t be back here. I’ve eaten at other Jersey Mike locations in airports when I travel. None of them put jalapenos on a regular Philly.
I hope that the owner or manager reads this post and makes the necessary changes to get this location back on track.

I am giving jersey mikes a 3 star due to some of the staff, and there sandwich making skills. Majority of the staff are friendly. However be careful with the condiments area. They smother the sandwich in the oil & vinegar to the point to where the whole bottom bread of the sandwich is wet. Also expect to wait during the lunch hour or dinner hour. They slice everything fresh so its usually a longer wait during those times. All in all the end product is delicious, if they don’t drown the bread or dump to much oregano (or whatever seasoning that is)

This was my wife and mine’s first time ever at jersey mikes and we had no idea what to expect we walked in saying it was our first time and the 2 gentleman greeted very welcoming and informed us very much of there menu you so great customer satisfaction to them. My wife ordered the turkey and provolone with bacon and avocado, the tastiest sandwich she has every eaten every time she would bite down I could hear the crunch of the bacon so that is just another plus I want to add to This place. Really if your looking for a great sandwich with a great and friendly staff this is the place to be!!! It makes subway look like the McDonald compared to jersey mikes.

We really wanted to try this place but they were out of bread & couldn’t tell me how long it would be until the bread was ready. How does a sandwich place run out of bread???

I am a huge fan. I discovered Jersey Mike’s back home in the Midwest. While it is «east coast style» it reminds me of my roots. My boyfriend actually doesn’t like it, but he isn’t a sandwich guy. Subs are my favorite thing ever for lunch, and this place is great! –Mike’s way plus pickles.

Sandwich shop that has cheesesteaks, wraps, and subs. They also have a couple of options for kids.
Personally, I like going for the cheesesteak but the subs are not bad.

Fast, friendly and delicious.
We mostly stick to the cheesesteaks here, both chicken and beef, and they are always great. Tried a chicken cheesesteak in a wrap last time which was also really good. I’m not a fan of the cold cuts but that’s likely a personal taste. Quality meats that are sliced per sandwich after you order which is very fresh.

While jersey mike’s is delicious and had great customer service I have toadmit i am a much bigger fan of fire house, mostly because it’s a better value.

This comes 2^nd to Firehouse Subs but since we don’t have a Firehouse in New Braunfels yet, its definitely my top for sub sandwiches! I always get the California Sub in a Tub (one with bacon & avocado), Mike’s way of course. My favorite part about Mike’s is that everything is sliced & assembled on spot so you know the meats haven’t been sitting out getting warm. Just wished they had a few more veggies to add on so I could opt out of meat & still fill full. Other than that its a go-​to option for quick & healthy.

Best philly steak I’ve had in a while. Meat was well seasoned along with peppers and onions. Cheese melted to perfection! First time coming here but not the last

YUMMY! These are the BEST subs in New Braunfels hands down! They taste amazing! You gotta try them!!! Friendly staff and very clean place! I just wish they would use on NONGMO ingredients like I wish every other fast food place and restaurant would do.

Brother took me to thsi place. I was thinking another sub place. It wasn’t that bad. I liked it and they have hot and cold subs. Tried the club supreme with the red wine vinegar and olive oil. Those two sauses added a different taste to the sub. The staff is freindly and help you out if its your first time. I do recommend for people to try this out. I will be going back to try other items off the menu.

This was a first time visit for my family & we will definitely be coming back! The sandwiches were delicious and even my picky 6 year old scarfed his down without so much as a peep! The folks behind the counter were extremely helpful and made fantastic recommendations for each of us. Enjoyed our whole experience. It is now on the go-​to list for evenings we find ourselves in town! Thanks for making tonight’s dinner easy, fun, healthy and delicious!

We’ve never had Jersey Mike’s before but let me tell you, wow! It was one of the best sandwiches we’ve ever had. The meat is freshly sliced when you order it and all the veggies and bread were fresh. They don’t have a million toppings, but what they have compliments the sandwich well. The vinegar, herb and oil blend was delicious. We will definitely be going back!
