I visited this Sephora on 01÷03÷16 armed with a gift card that I received for Christmas. I have had very good experiences in other Sephora locations so I was expecting to get have the same experience here but that didn’t happen.
Pros
–My make-up shades were in stock
–The store was clean and well organized
Cons
–I was completely ignored by every single member of the staff while other customers were getting unsolicited attention.
–When I was paying, I was only spoken to when I was told the total of my purchase.
–An employee skipped another customer ahead of me at the register even though I had already been waiting.

I guess I’ve just been overly spoiled by making the usual haul into San Antonio to shop at a real Sephora. You can look lost, ask for help from multiple associates and rather than getting a hand full of options that gesture to the opposite direction of the store or name off every brand except the one your standing in front of as a recommendation. And forget them asking later on if it worked or if they need to help you find something else.,.Hey I’m VIB rouge, I’ve spent more here than I do on my rent & car payment and someone can’t spend 5 seconds helping me find a lip shade. But on the plus size if your older they’ll give you a full make over and teach you how to apply eye shadow… Just not this 24 y/o.

I love Sephora– ok it is pricey but I feel the products have a better range of colors to choose from. I’m Latina and Those drugstore cosmetic sometimes just don’t provide a good selection for someone who may have some color. A big plus is you can have the makeup artist apply to your face before you commit to buying. You can also get a sample of foundation to take home and try on. The only drawback with this sephora is it does not have everything to choose from. I went in wanting color corrector palatte and was told because this is a smaller store (since its in JC Penneys), I would need to go to San Antonio (40 minutes away) to their free standing store in the mall. Parking is easy here ;in& out quick. would give Sephora 5 stars if they carried what I wanted. I also like the Beauty Insider card that gives you 1 point for every $ 1 you spend. You can redeem these for samples. I always like gifts, I deserve it!
