Big Lots

This is a very new Big Lots that opened in November 2010. It is a discount store that regularly gets odd lot and surplus goods and sells them at supposedly lower prices. In practice, not all their prices are great but you can still find some very good deals if you know your prices and comparison-​shop with other stores. If you see something good at Big Lots, don’t wait because they may never get more stock once it’s gone.
The biggest problem, in my eyes, is Big Lots does not take manufacturer coupons. For certain grocery items, that puts Big Lots at a distinct disadvantage to local supermarkets that double coupons. Service at this store doesn’t seem that great yet. You have to be aware and explicitly ask them for rebate forms and remind them to scan your Big Lots card. I hope they’ll get better in time.
Parking seems more than adequate as they are at the end of a strip mall with few other active businesses around.
