Porto-Fino Pizza & Restaurant

When I visit my family I always eat here. I can’t believe these reviews ??? I live in Nyc, the Mecca of food delivery. I actually ate here two days in a row recently and had great experiences both times. The cheesesteaks are great and fairly priced. But I don’t go there because the are priced great, I go there because of the freshness and quality ! I did pickup one night and delivery the next. Both times they were on the money !
I lived in Vegas for 6 years, I had a capriottis near me … I love the Bobbie and cap pastrami … But I prefer a Porto Fino cheese steak!

A couple of years ago had a big problem with finding a piece of blade in my cheesesteak, manager made it out like it was «my problem»! Didn’t go back for years. Recently have been back, good for a while. Ordered a cheesesteak with ketchup and bacon… covered in onions when it arrived. Had to wait ½ hour, when I called they wanted me to wait for another order to be sent! They couldn’t credit me back unless they had the steak back, had to drive it back myself, they still couldn’t credit my card back right away (including tip), have to wait a couple of days to process. Still had no dinner after the fact!!!

Pizza tastes like Pat’s. Same greek thick style dough and sweet sauce.
The bar and their staff are awesome. Down to earth service, not afraid to put you in place if when you deserve it. Awesome salads, apps, and the specials are great. Reliable, and always open. My girlfriend and I make a new friend or two every time we come

Bar tender was completely rude I challenged by tab and was told I would be chased out with a baseball bat! One call to the management! Tell me how two of us ordered a drink and a beer at the same time and where charged for 4 beers and 6 drinks we both had the same amount of drinks after the first bartender closed us out and where charged extra when the «closer» started ??? Put a call in to management and I will pull camera footage!!!

This place has the worst service especially for delivery. I constantly received cold food and live less than 5 minutes away. They have served me recooked chicken and its clear when some strips are normal and others have a fowl taste and are dark! Cant say much good about this place as there is not any sort of consitancy with the food quality, and way over priced! You complain and the owner blows you off and blames the customer and this can be heard by others in the restaurant! Beware if you try them its hit or miss getting a decent meal and be ready to over pay.

Service is consistently slow. It’s not the wait staff, its the kitchen. We often watch wistfully at the window waiting for our food to appear. The food is ok. The chef salad is good as is the cheesesteak. The Italian Food isn’t Grandma’s but this is a place you can comfortably go and know that you’ll get an ok meal.

Found something foreign in my chicken Caesar wrap. They said it was overcooked chicken but I’m not so sure

.service was so so maybe cause we had a small child… had to remind her after apps were served that I had asked for a glass of water

Veterans disabled or not beware of this place, I have never in my life been treated so rudely by a bartender. I always sit at the bar with my wife so we can visit with the bartender and other people while we eat. Friends of ours met us there and my friend was visiting with us and I didn’t hear the bartender ask what my friends wanted. She scolded me and my friends for ignoring her and said she had never been so disrespected in her 12 years of being a bartender. Of course she proceeds to argue with my wife while she was paying up that she needs more respect. My Wife tried to explain that I was deaf in one ear (I had lost my hearing while serving on board a submarine during my 8 years in the Navy). Needless to say we all left our full drinks sitting on the bar including the pizza we had wrapped to go, paid the full tab, and got the hell out of there. One of my friends (also a disabled Veteran like my self) tried to explain the situation to the manager, who just shrugged her shoulders and Did nothing. It makes me ashamed for this country that we fought so hard to defend, treats there disabled Veterans this way! We will never go back besides the pizza isn’t that good. 1 star is more than deserved!

Love the pizza here, absolutely first class. Friendly neighborhood spot, staff is always really attentive. Really appreciate that when I walk in the door… the know to poor me a Yuengling. Strongly recommend if you’re looking for a good pizza and a cold beer.

In the land of sub-​par eateries known as New Castle, this place offers some edible, non-​chain food that you won’t instantly regret or make you run to the bathroom. Actually, the salads here are very nice, especially the Cobb. The pizza is more authentic than the other neighborhood Italian joints, hands down. The Texas chili has some kick, not the greatest, but definitely a good starter for the hungry patron… and this is an Italian restaurant, after all.
Worth the trip, and I dare day, a diamond in the rough.

We have only had delivery from Porto-​fino, so I can’t comment on the restaurant atmosphere. The woman who always answers when we call is so sweet and welcoming. It really makes a difference. Our food has never been late, and the delivery guy is very polite. The food is delicious. We have had subs and pizzas with no complaint.

Husband and i came here to get our Italian food fix on a Tuesday. We sat ourselves, as the sign stated and waited for 20 minutes before we were even acknowledged. There were only three tables occupied. The staff was unfriendly and unobservant. After the long wait, we decided to go elsewhere. Will NEVER visit this restaurant again.

Best Greek Salad on this planet. Friendly service, too. :)

Decent food at good prices. The pizza is very average. My main pizza gripe is that they put the pepperoni under the cheese — I like it crisp on top, not soggy underneath.

What?. Their pizza is fantastic! I find myself overeating everytime I order pizza. The taste is divine. There is no finer in new castle.

I would somewhat agree with Rob m. I’m not a huge fan of their pizza. But I do find almost everything else on the menu to be great. My family moved to ONC 4 years ago and have always been treated well by all of the staff.
ONC is a very clickee town if your a outsider its discouraging at times. I have never been made to feel that way here. I enjoy happy hour on Fridays free wings and good conversation kinda like CHEERS of OLD NEW CASTLE.
The one let down is they took the Guiness off tap. I know the reason this is a coors light Budwieser town.
Friends don’t let friends drink crap beer.
That would give them a 5 star in my book if they brought back Guiness or another Craft beer.

Warning, this is NOT like NYC pizza.
I found and read a review on one of my iPhone apps that said «just like NYC pizza». Based on that, and since am from NYC, I thought I would give it a try.
Its looks like your typical strip mall pizza place. It is what it is, so I was not expecting a fine night of dinning, just a decent pizza.
I guess the reviewer that claims its like NYC pizza went to NYC and ordered pizza from Domino’s, Porto’s pizza is edible, but not very good. Look elsewhere. If I find a decent spot in the area, will review
