My family and i rented a cabin this past weekend and it was a great time! The lowest price cabin is 85/night and fit us well. it had 2 bunk beds(double on bottom, single on top), 2 burner stove top, microwave, restroom(toilet) plus all the plates, utensils and coffee pot. All you provided were your bedsheets and blankets. well plus clothes and food lol The campground itself is a nice size… Not too big to get lost and small enough that it seems everyone knows alot of people. My aunt has a permanent camper and knew many people as she passed them by. The public restrooms were fine. I didn’t use the shower so I can’t comment on it. The activities they had for the kids are great. This weekend was«princesses and pirates» and they had a cute, well thought interactive skit for the kids. My 3 year old niece LOVED it. Afterwards they played the movie«the princess and the frog» There was also a dance Their store is amazing and has great options seriously many things that you’ll need for the weekend if you run out or run into a problem are there. Oh from experience not transmission fluid lol. If I must say a downside, it would be that there aren’t street lights so once it’s dark, it’s extremely dark. If you had to walk your dog or run up to the shower it would be difficult. Even those little in ground lantern lights would be nice. Maybe though campers prefer it darker. Also, instead of chlorine(or maybe plus chlorine) in the pool they use salt. Again maybe some people like that. Cabins start at $ 85/night for basic and run up to $ 150/night which include separate bedrooms, full bathroom plus satellite TV per their brochure. We had a great weekend as I mentioned. We stayed in a cabin, my aunt has a permanent, my aunt & uncle brought a pop up and another aunt tented. Great times with the entire family. Easy to get to whether it’s from 79 or Perry highway.

no linens on the bed or in the bathroom — they didn’t tell me this when I called to book the cabin — they said linen is a $ 10 charge. I asked it to be waived because they didn’t tell me and they said no. We drove to a walmart to buy a blanket instead. That night — there was some kind of community dance party with a DJ blaring music for 4 hrs about 100 feet from our cabin. This was incredibly disturbing and ruined the night. I told the lady on the phone this was a romantic getaway. She could have told me about that ahead of time. Sleeping — the heater didn’t work and no one was there to answer the phone. Froze for 6 hours with my woman, 3 layers of t-shirts and the walmart blanket trying to keep me warm. It didn’t work. Worst experience I’ve ever had since survival training in the Air Force. I called to request a refund and they told me you should have told us ahead of time about your heater. I said I didn’t know it was broken and no one answered the phone when I called. They didn’t care about this either. And they said quiet hours are at 11pm so the 4 hours of very loud music is normal there.
