I wish that i could walk to this place. This is a dive bar with great food. Love the jalapeño burger. Fries are fine. The pizza is good. The bartenders are nice. It can get crowded but I think the service is always fine.

First time in this place. Very comfortable atmosphere. Wait staff were awesome and made sure you were taken care of. Beer selection was mediocre at best. The food was average.

Had the worst waitress ever, and this is the second time that we have had to put up with her. We were loyal customers, but won’t be coming back. She was rude and stupid, and her sister actually came to our table to defend her bad service. Waitress even told us not to say she was a bad server, she is that stupid. What a shame that this is what you have to put up with when dining out. Such a shame I use to enjoy this place.

Haven’t been to Pete’s in a long time. Last time in fact it was under a new ownership and they tried reinventing it while still keeping the old time atmosphere! We both had Fish & Chips uniquely made with batter fried Grouper the fries were fresh cut. Fried a little on the crispy side the way I personally like them, the grouper was moist and the 6oz potion was plenty with the large portion of fries. We also had a cup of Shrimp Corn Chowder this set the pace for a great meal because it was light creamy and just the right amount of spice to make it very delicious. In conclusion I believe that Pete’s has returned to being the great little local bar restaurant of yore.

Last time we were here — not thrilled with service — this time — great — loved the ribs — hubby had roast beef au jus — he was a happy camper.

Bar food, so nothing exactly interesting or unexpected on the menu. Nice place for a drink. Caters to the local crowd.

I have mixed emotions on Pete’s. I asked about the size of their burgers and was told they were small so I also ordered a dozen wings also. I only wanted 6 but the waitress informed me The price was only a buck and a half cheaper then if I bought a full dozen so I ordered 12. They came our before my burger so I know they were pre-baked and not deep fried fresh. The wings were not crispy and the sauce tasted like it was out of a jar and not homemade. I don’t recommend the wings. The burger was good though, not as small as the server led us to believe. The pasta salad was made with spaghetti noodles, not good either. We each received a 1 ounce bag of chips, they didn’t bother to open the bag and put the chips on the plate, just have us a bag! Seems like a good beer stop but I would think twice about eating there again.

My go-to local drinking establishment. I can walk to 4 different bars from my house, and this is the one I choose the most. Decent bar food, wonderful staff, great entertainment, and a fantastic selection!

Pete’s reopened about a year ago. Their opening menu looked very interesting with different cuts of steaks locally sourced from Warrington Farms. Unfortunately their selection is now limited to just one, a New York strip. I went on a Friday night and the place was packed, standing room only. Many of the people seem to be locals who had walked there and could enjoy a few more drinks since they were not driving. The staff are pleasant and hustle. The menu is safe and boring, nothing really unique, no signature dish. Portions are good, food is served hot. The crab dip was bland and not very crabby, at $ 9 it is not good value for money, but the portion is adequate for two to share. I had surf and turf. The crab cake was not very hot and lacked flavor. The New York strip steak was a very good size and flavor. Cooked just right medium rare. The home made French fries were excellent, the coleslaw tasted great but the portion was small. I think next time I may try one of their spaghetti plates, the ones coming out of the kitchen were piping hot and a heaping of food at a very good price. New Cumberland is lucky to have a good neighborhood bar like Pete’s. More small towns with a walking population could use a local like Pete’s.

06-12-2008, 5:30pm towney sports bar with good food, pretty waitresses and above-par service. not fancy but clean. honest food at honest prices. Worth going off the beaten path to get to. **don’t confuse with PIERRE’S at the far end of town**

This is located right off of main street in New Cumberland, havent been there in quite some time but it was alright. the food was decent and they accepted credit cards, the wait staff was kinda young and seemed in-experienced, but we were greeted and seated very fast. we might have been the only ones in at that time, it was lunch and this place had just recently opened. the food(baked potato, salad and steak) was fairly priced, and i wasnt really dissappointed.
