Choices are limited here in town for restaurants. We eat dinner here maybe once a month. The service is always friendly and helpful. The restaurant is kept clean but they could use new table coverings and chairs; they look dirty because they are old. The chairs are very rickety and I’m afraid to move much. This chain has the tiniest booths ever and they try to fit 4 people in them which is difficult: especially in the winter as there is no place for coats. Our food has always been good, fresh and hot. Not the best food in the world but a good value for price paid.

Always gross. Have gotten a spoiled crab cake, when done right they still taste like sour dough. Burned«Cajun shrimp», not so great salad bar, burger tasted like pure salt and tomato, etc etc. Did have good shrimp Alfredo once, and appetizer.

Today was the first time I went to Ruby Tuesday it was so good, the chips were a little too salty but the salad made up for it. They have really good service, are server was very nice I had a good time.

It’s getting worse and worse. Our service is usually«ok» but each time we leave more unsatisfied. This last time the manager comped us a meal and offered free desert. A medium ribeye steak came out very well done. the fries all tasted like they sat under a heat lamp for hours, green beans were awesome but the broccoli was over steamed and mushy. It’s getting 2 stars because our waitress was great! She saw we looked unhappy and after talking to us she notified her manager. So really, they get the stars, Not the cooks

Ruby Tuesday has generally gone down hill over the past few years and this one is no different. Food is mediocre at best. Baked potato was cold and under cooked. Got another that was barely better. Steak was rubbery and salty. Looked at the salad bar and there was no way I was eating anything from there. Service was ok. She did take care of our needs so that was the best part of the visit. We won’t be going back.

Disappointing for a national chain. Limited menu with little to choose from. Garden bar isn’t worth the money. The salad bar at the local grocery store is better.

Just alright. No horrible experience to recount but I’ve been here a handful of times and nothing I’ve ordered has ever been great. Usually everything is salted to the excess. Fries, burgers, pastas, and soups are all way over salted. I like to taste my food not just taste salt. The salad bar is a solid option. Most of the toppings are straight veggies so you know you’re getting your dose of vegetables.

Absolutely lousy service! The waitress forgot to put in our appetizer order and that was just the start… No biscuits or drink refills despite several requests and then brought over our bill before everyone was finished eating. When I approached the mgr about all the shortcomings, I got a half-hearted I’m sorry with nothing taken off of our bill for the inconvenience. The food was mediocre as best. Somehow they perfected how to overcook food and then serve it cold! What’s sad is they don’t care and are oblivious to the needs of their customer and quality of their food and service!

Well the food and service were ok. BUT, listen to this. We had several of us that were sitting together(and we’re getting separate checks). Several of us had coupons. SO here is why the one star and I will not be going back to ANY Ruby Tuesday’s…only one coupon per table. Not per couple or per check… per party(even though we weren’t a party). WOW. Is this crazy or what. This will not go over well in York County or in any place in my opinion. So count me as an ex-customer of Ruby Tuesdays. They got their full $ 40 dinner bill check from me this time. I hope this is worth the many times that I won’t be back or I won’t bring guests… just because of a $ 5 coupon. Sounds like a poor business decision to me.

This Ruby Tuesdays is simply horrible. Every time I come here the service and food is terrible. The food portions are small and just always tastes bland. When I go to the self serve salad bar the lettuce is wilted, the cucumbers, broccoli and other options looks old and not appetizing. And theirs not much to choose from at the salad bar just the basics. I won’t be coming back ever.

My family and I have tried a few times to have a meal here. Unfortunately everytime we try to give this place a chance it gets worse. The food is not very good and the service is worse. Why bar stools need to be bolted down is beyond me. Stay away because you are throwing your money away.

The restaurant is dirty. You can see dust on the tables. We got burgers, the lettuce on the burgers was slimy. Eat anywhere in the area but here.

I normally avoid chain restaurants, but at least you usually get what you expect. I haven’t been to any Ruby Tuesday in years. I won’t go again. Compared to other casual sit-down chains, the food was overpriced on the menu and way overpriced once I saw what I actually got. This particular Shrewsbury location isn’t even up to chain standards. Service was slow, furniture was wobbly and threadbare, there were cracked and broken mini blinds over the windows. They didn’t notice that we had no silverware on the table when they asked us to check the meat. One good thing good about this location is that it is on a hill and you get a decent view(from one side of the restaurant).

Decided to have dinner here… I know it’s a chain, but honestly choices are limited in this area. Three stars is all I can give. Sad but true. Why any restaurant would fill their salad bar, which is typically enjoyed by vegetarian patrons, with ready made salads that hold ham is beyond me. Really? It’s a salad bar… not a smörgåsbord. The sweet potato fries were tough. The shining star of the meal? The white chocolate cherry cheesecake ~ oh yea…

I had gone to this Ruby Tuesday since they opened almost on a weekly basis. There are few to no other restaurants that also server alcohol in the area. I’ve learned how to order to get exactly what I want and we enjoy the bar staff. A few months ago, the lighting at the bar area has gone from romantic, dinner lighting to bright, breakfast, bathroom lighting and the bright spot lights give a sanitized uncomfortable feel. When we asked to dim the lights, we were told that corporate wants them to that level and they won’t change. This was so noxious, that we have not gone back. Looks like there will be a few new restaurants in Shrewsbury in the near future. We’ll go there.

I met a friend here for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. The BBQ chicken flatbread was delish. Also had the salad bar and quesadillas. All were freshly prepared and quickly delivered. The highlight was the service though. Our server was attentive but gave us space to talk without hovering. The best part was the post-lunch cleanup. They use an old fashioned manual carpet sweeper since a vacuum would be noisy and disturb the guests. How can you not love that? Good food, great service and a welcoming, clean environment. We’ll be back!!!

We don’t normally eat at chains but we were on the road, hungry, and it was around 10:30 at night. We honestly didn’t have the highest expectations but this place was really good. Very friendly staff and the food was pretty yummy.

Bar was cozy, though the stools are bolted down, so you can’t push them back. Hope you don’t mind a tight fit! Servers were friendly, though. Bartender Allie was very nice, made a great Manhattan. Didn’t dine there on this occasion, but the gent next to us seemed to dig his wings and salad bar(which looked very fresh, even late at night). It’s a chain, you know what you’re getting into, but seemed to be better than many. If I dine there and the experience was noteworthy, I will amend my review.

I was here over this past weekend with my wife and good friend. We were seated around 12 for lunch. Little did I know that I would spend the next 2 hours at this location for lunch. We were seated promptly but then had to wait 20 minutes to be greeted by a server. We gave our order hoping that that would be the last of the waiting. I was wrong, we all got burgers so I don’t know what the reason for our lunch to come out so slowly. It took about another 30 minutes for the food to come out. The reason I gave this place a 2 star rating is because I do like Ruby’s food. If it weren’t for the fact that I have had some excellent meals at this chain in the past, my last visit would have actually been a 1. Perhaps they had an off day but even then, waiting to be greeted by a server for 20 min is a little too long for me.

I’m typically not a fan of these chains. Service tends to be terrible, food is worse than a school cafeteria, and the very thought of stepping into a place like this sends chills down my spine. In a bind — and in need of vegan eats — after a long day at the Spoutwood Festival, however, it became the group’s saving grace. Thankfully, none of my fears were ever realized. First off, service was great. The hostess made sure we got a table in a reasonable amount of time for a group of eleven. The server was even better, tackling all our orders and getting every last one correct, even knowing exactly who to deliver the food to as it came out. He was up front about the cost of the top shelf drinks(the well mixers are only $ 5 but I like my high quality stuff) and was very patient with the group as we fished our way around the menu. Even the vegans got the right orders — veggie burgers without cheese or mayo. Fantastic job, sir! Well-earned tip, especially after splitting our checks CORRECTLY and not doing auto-tip. Seriously, spot on! The salad bar was very fresh and was constantly being replaced. Nothing ever went stale or flat. I had the avocado quesadilla which was the only miss — I didn’t realize it would have red peppers in it and I’m not a fan of those. I wish they were listed on the menu… The broccoli cheddar potatoes I tried, though? Taaaaaaasty. Drool. Thanks for doing a great job taking care of our large group!
