I gave it three stars but realistically it’s probably 3 ½. This is self serve pizza so if it doesn’t come out right it’s kind of on you in the first place. You can add as much or as little of each topping on the fly… It’s made in front of you kind of like a Subway or Chipotle which I think is(deservingly) becoming more and more popular lately for pizza. Prices were decent but I wish they had more of a selection for toppings. Not enough cheeses, not enough meats honestly. The whole process was done in about 4 – 5 minutes the pizza came out form ordering to the table. They also had smore’s cookies which they toast in the oven alongside your pizza. While I have no complaints about the service, the pizza, despite all I added, was still pretty bland. Also the seating is directly underneath the ropes course which kind of makes you feel a little uneasy with people literally stepping over your food the entire time you’re eating. Seems like a stupid complaint to have, but there was nowhere to sit that was not directly underneath at least some portion of the course. More of a sanitary problem I guess. I have no problem eating here again but I would be much more likely to grab pizza from one of the better known apizza establishments that are literally minutes away…

I was so excited to see that a Blaze Pizza had opened in New Haven. While being away at school in New York I had the chance to eat at a Blaze on Long Island. Sadly, to my surprise, this location is not a free standing one and is squeezed in to a tight little corner where you won’t even mange to find a free table to sit and enjoy your meal on. Instead, you will find that the area is overrun by patrons of the large obstacle course«IT» so, loud hyper children and moms that selfishly use the only dining area as their own personal lounge to talk amongst themselves, if you need a place to sit(besides the fenced off area in the middle) to sit and watch, go buy a sofa at Jordan’s Furniture, which for whatever reason you are required to walk through to get to this location. If you are looking for a quick entrance to this Blaze Pizza, you won’t find it, I suggest you just take your meal to go. Otherwise the staff and food are perfectly fine, very friendly and helpful people, and price for an $ 8 any topping personal pizza is unbeatable.

Ok, this rating is an odd one, as I usually rate based on food quality/taste above all else, but in this case, it more about service and convenience. A freshly made personal pizza, topped with quality ingredients, made by an amazing, friendly, entertaining staff in under 4 minutes is almost a miracle. You can actually go here on lunch and not be late getting back to work! The price is low, and the pizza is actually good. Easy access off the highway adds to the convenience. People on the ropes course and the nearby fountains provide free entertainment throughout your meal! I plan to come back frequently!
