The view is awesome! The food is good, had the chicken sandwich and fries with a cold beer! Have been there twice, cheeseburger is pretty good to.

Very nice and prompt service. The food is really delicious. I ordered a pastrami sandwich. It came with plenty of pastrami and plenty of fries. Very delicious. We ordered a crab dip appetizer that was pretty small for the price but was also rich and creamy and cheesey and amazing! Definitely will come back here when visiting new hope again!

Great view and patio but food and service is mediocre. Prices are a but high for the quality and selection is lacking. Also I found it ridiculous that they charge you for each tea bag.

This is that place you come to sit outside enjoy the view of the Delaware River and have a glass of wine, or a cocktail looking across to the Jersey side in New Hope… The Landings is a very casual, comfortable place. They have a nice bar, surrounded by high hats. All the windows open up in the summertime so u can get a smell of the fresh air. The food is pretty good. They make soups, interesting salads, burgers, and comfort style dishes. They have chicken fingers, fish tacos, The Blueberry Grilled Cheese with basil, its sweet and savory… It melts in your mouth… The Ham and Brie melt has caramelized apples and onions with a lingonberry dipping sauce. The apples and onions lend themselves to giving the creamy Brie texture. The lingonberry adds a nice touch. My two favorite salad are the smoked salmon salad over arugula, and the fig salad… There are items on the menu for children to choose from. The Landings have ever changing IPAs and craft beers on tap. Parking is limited to street only. I’ve been here several times and plan on returning soon.

New Hope is one of those places that I instantly was enchanted with once I started crossing over the bridge from NJ. The Landing was the very first place that caught my eye with it’s huge umbrellas and deck area viewing the river. I literally told my husband, «I don’t care what they serve there, I want to go there.» And thankfully we have been back many times since. The drinks are actually really great, they have seasonal cocktails and drafts, an outside bar area that leads to the outside seating. Most of the the time we come just to grab a drink and take in the view. Be aware that drinks will cost from $ 10 — $ 13 and not very strong, so you really are paying for ambiance. As for the food, prices are also on the higher end, but not surprising considering it’s New Hope. I had a chicken ceasar salad that was $ 17, and nothing that wonderful, but not that terrible either. I think the same goes for a burger I’ve had here and the«award winning chili» that would be classified as regular chili in my book. So for the most part food is like a 2.5. They really get that additional 1.5 stars from having great customer service and being convinently located next to a small hidden parking lot that folks tend to forget about. So overall a great date spot for both new and seasoned loves. I am sure I will be back many more times, when the weather permits, as this is by far my favorite restaurant with a view in New Hope.

If you are looking for an enjoyable little spot to enjoy a beautiful day, look no further. The Landing offers spectacular views of the Delaware River, and the neighboring city of Lambertville, New Jersey, while providing the perfect complement of menu choices and service. My girlfriend and I took a late lunch date and found ourselves here, and were given a riverside table for two, on the patio section covered by colorful umbrellas. Absolutely beautiful experience, that will certainly give you a reason to unwind. I ordered the pastrami sandwich, which was one of the best I’ve ever had. Thick, flavorful meat, topped with a phenomenal dollop of cole slaw(which I’m quite picky about), a variation of Russian dressing, crammed between a coupe slices of fresh marble rye bread. The presentation was simple — sandwich, battered French fries(with malt vinegar at the table, which was a nice surprise), and a sliced pickle. Absolutely perfect, especially when paired with an icy glass of Honest Tea Lemonade Iced Tea. For the two of us, drinks included, I spent about $ 30, which I would do any day of the week for the food and the overall experience. Our waiter, Daniel, was quick, attentive, and friendly as well. All things told, my opinion is clear. Grab one of the many beautiful ladies that swarm the town of New Hope, and treat her to a beautiful afternoon by the river with some food that will change her life!

In the span of 5 years, I’ve eaten at this place 3 times. What keeps bringing me back is the outdoor seating with the view of Lambertville across the river. However, the meals are slow to come. The service was good, waiter was friendly, but the food takes forever. My hubby and I ordered the Shrimp Rolls, Burger, and Blueberry Grilled Cheese… we were there a total of 2 hours. The Blueberry Grilled Cheese was interesting… in a good way! I enjoyed in very much. The mojito, on the other hand, was like drinking crushed mint on ice water. Say no to the mojito, stick to beer. The wine was also served very warm. Warm wine on a summer evening was not appreciated. If you’re in New Hope, there are plenty of restaurants serving GREAT food. But, for a chill, after work, no rush place to have a nice cold beer, The Landing is a good spot.

I absolutely love this place. It offers stunning view of the Delaware river and the bridge Street Bridge. And coming from NJ it feels so light on the wallet. This is my go to place on a nice summer day, after a good stroll around the New Hope Downtown along the river side come dow. And have a few drinks by the water front. The drink selection is decent enough(I always go for Flying Fish on the tap) And the food is of good quality. Chicken Lime Kebab Shrimp Taco Crispy Fried Calamari Loaded Nachos Fried Fish and Chips You might have noticed i stick to bar food here, but I am sure everything else is as good. This is a great place to come with your special someone. I assure you u’ll love the place and the ambience.

They say all good things must come to an end, I’m so sorry to say this holds true to The Landing. Having spent many days on the patio as both a customer & a former employee here myself, I can’t begin to explain the heartbreak in seeing what has become of The Landing. The quality of the food has deteriorated tremendously, resembling something you would find at an Applebee’s rather than the proud establishment I used to know & love. From the time we sat down, our server(Natalie) greeted us with eye rolls, short answers, and a sense we had some how inconvenienced her. Never have I had a server in a restaurant turn his/her back and walk away while we were mid-sentence of ordering. 10 minutes later, she ran past our table shouting at us that«Mike will take your order!!» We called after her, she gave us a finger to wait, which we did for about another 20 minutes before Mike showed up to take our order(again?). We ordered, he brought our drinks, then we never saw him again. Our food was brought by another server, never saw him again. No one checked on our meal, no one asked if we needed another drink, no one refilled our water glasses, no one cleared our plates… they all disappeared. With so many fantastic restaurants in the area, we were sorry we wasted a beautiful day by dining here. We don’t know where all those servers went, but i can tell you one place WE won’t be going… The Landing. I am only leaving one star for the fond memories of a place the no longer exists… so sad!

Today I visited The Landing in New Hope, PA. I visited on a Wednesday in the late afternoon. The place was not crowded at all, so we got a patio seat. The location of the restaurant is definitely one of its pros. It’s located right on the Delaware, as you can watch the fantastic view of nearby Lambertville, NJ, the Rt 179 Bridge, and bypassing boats while you eat your food. Anyway, onto the food. I looked through the entrees and found some dishes to be quite expensive. For example, the NY Strip Steak was 28 bucks. But I ended up getting the Pulled Pork Sandwich, one of the cheaper items on the menu. The pulled pork was tender and juicy, blending in well with the BBQ sauce and the Swiss Cheese. The bread was decent. However, the fries were not bad. I did substitute chips for the fries. Very crispy, just how I like it. But one of the down sides was the coleslaw. The quantity/quality wasn’t very good, and the taste was around what I expected. Overall, the service was fine, the prices were quite expensive, the food wasn’t bad, and the location was amazing. Would like to come back again.

I’ve been to The Landing a few times for lunch and casual dinners and had nice experiences each time. The location is a huge draw and probably improves the good-but-not-great food. On my most recent visit, I opted for a salad(wanting to try to be «healthy»). I ordered the Roasted Pear Salad, but swapped the gorgonzola for goat cheese, per the server’s recommendation. The salad was good — I loved the roasted pear and spicy walnuts. It was on the smaller side, so I should have added the grilled chicken. Instead, I ordered a side of french fries. They were light and flaky. I’ve had some of their sandwiches, all of which are solid, but could be better. My sister ordered the spaghetti bolognese, which was a huge portion and looked really good. Service is decent, but relaxed(probably due to the location.) One of the positives of the Landing is that in terms of New Hope restaurant prices, it’s on the more affordable side, for sure.

3.5 stars! We rode our motorcycle to Lambertville/New Hope over the 4th weekend. It was very hot, we were hungry and thirsty. We wanted to eat outdoors and we stumbled on The Landing. Cute, outdoor seating with nice view of river, bridge and boaters. Service was very slow, but our server was really nice. Wife: chicken quesadilla Me: chili lime chicken kabobs We were both pleased with our food! Very tasty. Almost made 4 stars, but the wife’s soda was flat both times.

BEST dog friendly restaurant in New Hope. I went here for my mothers birthday about a month ago for the first time. I was impressed. We only waited about 30 minutes but there is a nice waiting garden area where you can have some drinks before being seated. We were seated right on the water which was extra special for my mothers birthday. We got a few appetizers which included the buffalo wings. They were delicious but very hot for such a hot day. Everyone’s food was delectable. The food did take a litter longer than I liked but it was alright since it was such a beautiful location. Also it was very busy which is totally understandable. The drinks were delicious and I was very happy to see a diverse amount of beers on the menu. Four stars because this place could be kept better for all of the business it gets. The tables are cheap and wobbly, especially near the water. The waitress also spilled food on my moms fiancé which is never that pleasant and always awkward. The bathroom was also annoying as it is a 1 person bathroom for a dining area of about 40 tables… I would definitely take someone back here but maybe on the off season or on a slower day.

Great view. Food menu ok I was thinking it was going to be a bit more upscale. Its not. Expect your average fair & A nice outside bar. People were friendly and service was ok. If they changed the menu up a little it would be much better.

Came here while it was beautiful weather on a Sunday. We sat outside right by the water. I wanted to enjoy a nice bloody mary and then eventually order some food. The service was kinda slow and the Bloody Mary was gross. It didnt even taste like a Bloody Mary. I was kind of upset and didnt even want to order food and we left. I would give it another shot for dinner but the day drink attempt was a huge disappointment.

There’s only one reason you come here — location! Right on the river, outdoor seating, enjoying the good weather! We were here for pre-dinner drinks and our cocktails were terrible. But the views and atmosphere made up for it!

This place is always busy on a nice day. The seating area ambiance is a major draw and I think is responsible for a lot of the hype. Don’t get me wrong, I had possibly the best salad ever with smoked salmon, red onion and arugula with lemon vinaigrette. My mom also enjoyed her pear salad. We got the mussels, and they were very spicy and pricey – and just okay. the portions appear to be quite small for the prices. Drinks will also run you about $ 7 – 11. So, moral of the story is while it was good, you pay for your location at this restaurant. Also, we were able to sit just the two of us pretty quickly but it looked as though most of the tables are 2-tops and I think anything larger will definitely have you waiting. Our service was excellent and friendly, I would return.
