I’m only writing based on a repair for a frame I brought in. My 1 year old bent the frame past the bending point and my glasses were very crooked. I walked in, no appointment and asked if they could repair the damage. The older gentleman said he would try but was not responsible if it broke entirely. I agreed and waited 5 minutes. He was able to repair the frame and NOT CHARGE me for this service. Only after I had this great customer service did I read the horrid reviews. I’m surprised I had such good luck here. Satisfied customer for a quick repair here.

I went back a week later to pick up my prescriptions for both of my eye exams. The woman told me she could only give me the one for contact lens which I paid $ 150 for the exam. I reminded her that the doctor did both exams and I had also given her my insurance information the initial trip which should covers only one of the two exams. She finally had given me both after she has a debate with herself. I was convinced to order my lens through them over a week ago and I still didn’t receive them where as if I had ordered them through my normal online retailer they would have arrived 3 – 4 days and with free shipping on my doorstep. As I said in my first review the doctor was awesome but I’m not too fond of the Saleswoman, I felt as if I was almost played for a fool.

DO NOT PATRONIZE. I needed a new pair of glasses and this business accepted my union plan. I’ve been wearing glasses for years and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The optician who performed my exam was nice but her equipment was ancient. The selection of glasses was limited to styles which would have been considered old in the 70s. When I finally selected the least horrible frame, I was told about excessive charges over and above what my plan would pay. When I asked for the prescription to get my glasses elsewhere a man came from the back and reduced the price by $ 50 which was still excessive. Then they said it was not their policy to give out prescriptions until they are paid by the union. I’ve never heard of such a thing. In addition to everything in the store being outdated, the carpet was absolutely filthy with numerous large stains. I would never go back to this establishment.
