The 610 Stompers put on an Epic pub crawl and I expected nothing less. Mother Nature cooperated beautifully(even though the forecast predictions were pretty bleak), and the Stompers put on quite an extravaganza. Tons of people– including myself took to the streets in 80s attire to go with the Back to the Future theme– which included an actual tricked out Delorean. The Stompers started the event by hosting a dance clinic so we could all learn 2 of their routines so that we could dance instead of walk to each destination. For those who paid the registration fees, the free Abita beer was handed out at every stop as well as water to keep us all properly hydrated. The music never stopped and neither did the dancing in the streets all the way from the 1 pm start time at Grits to the closing down of the block party at F&Ms at 10 pm. Not only was it a great event, but I also got to meet our Unilocal hostess Morgan F for the 1st time ang get some pretty cool Unilocal swag(sunglasses and a flask). Thanks Morgan!

2015610 Stompers Ball Crawl did not disappoint!!! Started out at Grit’s and learned one of the 610 dances while drinking cold Abita beer. Drago’s had their fire truck out there serving up some pasta dishes. The party moved to King Pin where there was a «Air Guitar» contest. We then paraded down St. Charles to Fat Harry’s where there was a Limbo Competition. The party kept parading to Le Bön Temps, and then finished up where we started. There was cold Abita and water at every stop. The Stompers put on a high energy/highly entertaining event that raised money for local charities. If you weren’t there… sadly you missed an epic day of Nothing But Fun!

Did this for the first time this year. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. The Stompers know how to have a good time. I made my way over around noon and it was already a good party. We danced, we drank, I met Morgan F. It was awesome. The best part is I broke my ankle walking home afterwards. Who says I don’t know how to party?!?

One of the best events in NOLA. What is better than paying $ 35 for a tshirt, some mustache tattoos, other trinkets, and almost all the free beer you can guzzle. Make sure to get out there right when the event starts(around 1 pm) so you can learn the dances! Always a great time.
