Beauty Mart No 5

Beauty Mart is this neighborhood’s best kept secret. It is located off of Chef Menteur highway in close proximity to the Winn Dixie grocery store. I remember back in middle school my friends and I used to walk to Beauty Mart to purchase make up, nail polishes, nail art, etc. We would experiment on each other since our parents and school uniform prohibited us from wearing anything other our natural beauty.
Nevertheless Beauty Mart has definitely evolved since then offering a plethora of brand name as well as; generic hair products for all hair types, skin care, wigs, weaves, extensions, hair colors/​dyes, costume jewelry, heating appliances, Saints, LSU, & Christian apparel, and hair accessories. The staff is helpful and courteous. The prices are lower compared to other well known beauty supply chains. There is a large parking lot for your convenience. I never leave empty handed as I always find what I need and then some.
