Best nail experience in NOLA in 4 years of living here. Blanc has a beautiful atmosphere which enables you to relax and really take a break. Just a super calming environment and experience. Lots of colors from which to choose. Thuy did an amazing job on both my pedicure and manicure. I showed her a picture of a nail design a friend in California got, and she quickly responded with, «oh, I can do that!» And proceeded to execute for only $ 5 extra. I’m in love with them! Can’t stop looking down at my nails.

So yesterday I started looking for an eyebrow threading place in the area since my normal place doesn’t do threading till Thursday(esthetique facial spa– amazing) and I’m leaving for Santa Barbara on Wednesday. I call three places, no threading. I call Blanc– they have threading(yay!). I am told to make an appointment so I get one at 5:45(when the man on the phone reads it back to me he says 4:45 and I correct him– no big deal) I drive over and walk in at 4:45 to see the place with one customer and 6 or 7 people all standing together in the middle of the place talking(staff meeting I guess?) everyone looks over at me and I feel like I’m interrupting. There is also an adorable dog in a costume and that is worth a star at least. The man at the counter has me sign in and tells me to go back and points to the back of the place where a girl is standing in a doorway. I walk to her, go to the room and lay down on the chair. At this point I notice she is warming up wax and specify that I had asked for threading«oh we don’t do threading» oh. The girl said she felt bad and said I could leave if I wanted to. I walk out and the 6 or 7 staff members and dog in costume all turn to look at me– intimidating, uncomfortable, cute(dat dog tho) The man at the desk asks what went wrong, I tell him that I wanted my eyebrows threaded not waxed and specially called earlier to make sure that they threaded. I tell him that the man I made the appointment with confirmed they do threading, at which he looks over at a man in the group and the man says«I heard waxing». Everyone kind of stands there for a beat just uncomfortable silencing(dog included) and then I say alright bye and walk out. 1 star for the place being so beautiful, 1 star for the dog in costume Now I will go to Santa Barbara with a unibrow. Oh well.

STUNNING. This place is definitely a hidden gem in New Orleans. It’s so modern & chic. I was greeted by the owner herself as I walked through the door. I got both the Slow Beauty Manicure & Pedicure, it was divine. I’ll be back again and again. Lovely staff!

The place is recently refurbished, with a beautiful decoration and comfortable chairs(not that ugly and big massage chairs). I booked an appointment by phone and they were really nice on the phone(it seems funny, but some places I tried before were not nice even on the phone). We arrived on the following day and we were very welcomed and also on time. Before accommodated us to do the nails they also offered water, Mimosa, which was really nice. Then the tecnicians came. They were lovely and did the nails very well. They removed the excess of the skin around the nails, did a good polish(removing the excess of polishing with a brush what guarantee a good finishing) and they have a lot of colors available. Everything in the beauty salon is very clean. Definitely, from now on that’s my nail place in New Orleans.

I hate to have to do this because my first experience was so wonderful, Jana made me feel like royalty 4 months ago. I came back for my wedding week with two of my bridesmaids. We were treated horribly at the front desk by a man who didn’t seem like he actually worked there but he mocked us and talked to us as if we aren’t born and raised here but tourists who just don’t get what Magazine street is. The woman who worked on me and one of my friends was friendly and kind and accommodating but one of my friends was treated so horribly it was embarrassing. I really wanted to get up and walk out, she scolded her, slapped her and said not to move. She acted like it was a huge in inconvenience to have to do her job. We had to ask for champagne, the previous time I was there they offered it. The rude person wouldn’t give champagne to my friend. It left such a bad taste in mouth. We were trying to get pampered but instead we were super uncomfortable. The pedicure was fare. It’s a beautiful space but I will never spend another penny there.

First of all Fellas! Don’t feel like you can’t come here! They are very nice and you’ll feel right at home. I’ve been going to Blanc since they first opened some months ago. I am new to New Orleans and relied on Unilocal to find a salon where I could get a manicure. The people there were very war and welcoming as soon as I walked in. Pair that with the majority white styling of the place and it’s immediately feels like somewhere you don’t mind hanging out for a bit. Once you walk in the door you’ll be offered a beverage of your choice as sign your name on the appointment book. They offer water, sparkling water, red and white wine, and champagne. I always go for the Mindful Manicure. It’s a nice mani that includes just enough so that when you walk out you feel like your hands have been made anew. The products they use are very good. They don’t have a very strong scent that follows you all day. Everyone there does a great job so you can feel comfortable with anyone. I recommend calling ahead to make an appointment. They can get busy in the late afternoons and on Saturdays. You can walk in of course but calling in ensures that you don’t have to sit around and wait for long.

They did a good job, but the service was absolutely horrible. When we first got there, we asked if they did any kind of nail art or embellishments and they said«We don’t get requests for that on magazine street.» Like that was some sort of low class ask or something. The girl who did my nails was rude. She kept scolding me to keep my legs perfectly straight for her to do my pedicure, when I moved my feet slightly in the water she told me to not do that as I would splash her, and was overall aggressive. This place acts like they are hot sh*t and it’s just over priced. No sort of foot or hand massage with the price either. Super basic.

Very nice and clean salon, we had a group of 9 and everyone that worked on our group was very nice and wanted to make sure we were all happy with our service. My daughter and I both got mani/pedi’s with French tips, we were very pleased!

This is the place of been dreaming of all of my life… AMAZING manicures and pedicures! Not a busy smelly nail salon with the annoying massage chairs. This place is pure heaven and they know how to do nails. Normally, I find getting my nails done a busy stressful experience but not here… I actually wish my house looked like the beauty bar sometimes! I cannot wait until they start offering blow outs too!

Awesome new space. The staff does a fabulous job with manicures and pedicures(mine still look brand new two weeks later) and who doesn’t love a free cocktail during their service? It’s a little pricier than your hole in the wall nail place, but it’s also a LOT nicer too. Did I mention that the staff do an amazing job? I also learned that they only use vegan products(aside from the nail polish itself, due to quality issues faced by most vegan polishes). Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Seriously, this place is amazing. I went for the first time yesterday and got a much needed mani/pedi by Lisa and it was by far one of the best i’ve ever had. They girls are so sweet, the space is immaculate and the service is definitely top-notch. Absolutely worth the higher price. You get what you pay for and they definitely have a consistent customer now.

I went in yesterday after discovering this new place on Unilocal. First, let’s just talk about the environment. That salon is beautiful! Relaxing, peaceful, light, white, fresh… The decoration is modern with clean and pure lines. I loved it! The girl who did my nails was really nice and talkative, but not too much either. She tried the gel nail polish on my pinky and asked me if I liked it or not. I decided to change and go for a more opaque shade. It was very nice of her to think about that. When I got in I was offered a drink(mimosa, sparkling water…). I also discovered they are a planning in opening a hair salon too, in the back of the huge room. I cannot wait to try it! The products they use are vegan, except for their polishes. I will definitely be back!

Awesome experience. Every single person I encountered was so friendly and Kathy(or Cathy?) did an awesome job. I told her how I wanted her to shape my nails and not once did I have to ask her to fix the shape. Every single nail was even in length and perfectly shaped. That is super important to me. I find it so hard to find a quality salon and wish this nail bar was in Houston, but I’ll definitely make a point to visit every time I’m in New Orleans. They have a good selection of colors, prices are reasonable and they served wine and champagne which is a nice touch. $ 77 for basic manicure and pedicure with gel.

Such a beautiful space for relaxation. Came here with my mom for a birthday treat for her. Sadly, we were running late and were the last appointment slots, but both the receptionist and the nail techs treated us nicely and were very welcoming and sweet regardless! We were offered mimosas and a little chocolate brownie to munch on during our pedicures. I highly recommend Stacy. Love her! She made sure that both my mom and I felt special and she had such a bubbly and friendly personality. I also liked that they have all the swatches on a key ring, so there is no guessing about how the shade in the bottle will actually come out. My favorite part was the warm lemongrass-smelling towel they put on your legs. Everything was very professional and sanitary. Our usual pedicure place was Earthsavers, but I think Blanc is our new spot now!

Clean, sleek, and sophisticated. Thuy took her time on my mani/pedi and I would have to say it’s hands down the best work I’ve seen in a long time!
