Excellent store for casual men’s clothing. Check the sale racks in the back, and check out the accessories like belts and wallets made from recycled material. I got a card wallet made from a bicycle inner tube and threw my Coach leather one away. it is much more durable.

Maybe this place was just too cool for me. I was completely ready to love it– I wear t-shirts– I love cute clothes– but I just don’t get it. It is über hipster and I could find nothing in there that justified the cost. Nope.

This is an über hipster clothing store with vintage clothing. They have some good buys here and you can pick up stuff for $ 5 which is a great deal these days. Its right next to Juan’s Flying Burrito so you can shop here while waiting for a table.

Damn, I had fun in this store! A keen eye fills this place with great accessories for men and women using items that have been recycled or repurposed. There’s a section in the rear of the store for vintage items, and a great selection of hats to keep you looking and feeling cool.

Driving down Magnificent Magazine Street, I happened upon this place & what a treasure. This place has a feel of second hand store/vintage boutique-ish. Seems to be lots of odd little finds, what a treat. I’ve purchased an item made of recycled materials & an item made by the hands of women in the Ghana(receiving proceeds from the sale)… can you say #winwin!!! I’ll be back(in my arnold schwartznegger voice)

Another cute local independent run store — this one in New Orleans! I love their eco-friendly items, vintage items, locally made items, etc. I purchased a vintage dress and some locally made earrings. The dress is super cute and I’m glad to wear it this summer at bbqs. It was expensive though, priced at $ 36 for a vintage dress but it was too cute to say no to. I tried on some locally made dresses but they didn’t fit quite right so I didn’t get them. The earrings I absolutely love — they are made out of wood and lacquer. Some local artist in the New Orleans area made them, I’m super psyched to wear them soon. They were $$ too but worth it to support local artists. The woman working the day my friend and I came in was super friendly and helpful. I checked in on Unilocal and got the deal — I think it was buy $ 7 in credit and get $ 14 in credit there. So my friend got the deal too since she also purchased a few items. I think this may have been the first Unilocal deal I’ve purchased. They have lots of clothing, bags, jewelry, and other neat things for presents. If you are a local def make this a seasonal shopping place and if you are visiting def stop by to see what New Orleans local designers have to offer. It’s on a strip that has lots of other awesome stores near by so you can make a day out of shopping on Magazine St.

Found my favorite hat here! I wish they sold it online, but still. Thanks for the awesome hat!

3 Stars for their selection, another for their heart being in a sustainable place. Most of their clothes are too young and hip foir me, though if I decide to grow a hipster beard, who knows. Very affordable, casual clothes for boys and girls, plus a small collection of vintage items. Their focus is on recycled or sustainably sourced clothes and accessories, which is still a rarity in New Orleans. They are always very friendly and helpful, and they are next to both Juan’s Flying Burrito and Aiden Gill for extra fun.

I got a chance to visit Branch Out on a recent trip to New Orleans. Me and my girl were walking down Magazine and came upon this vintage store. I really enjoy fashion and checking out new places, let me tell you this store is where it’s at! They have a great selection of nice vintage dresses, sweaters, prints, and skirts. In addition to that they have a few newer items and a great selection of nice vintage jewelry and purses. I purchased a beautiful white sequined dress, OMG I will be wearing this dress on my birthday! It’s so bad, so original, and so me lol! It was only $ 28 I thought that was a real steal! Overall I was very impressed with the quality and prices of Branch Out’s Vintage Selection. Upon my next visit to NO I will be back at Branch Out!

Branch Out is a great little eco-friendly boutique with all sorts of stuff for both guys & girls. In the front of the store they’ve got new clothes for both men & women from sustainable clothing lines such as She Bible and Alternative Apparel’s Alternative Earth line, and they also carry some clothing lines by local designers such as Jolie & Elizabeth. Their accessory and jewelry collections are also a great mix of local designers, eco-friendly companies from around the world and vintage pieces. Check out the back of the shop for a fun mix of vintage clothing for both sexes. Branch Out is also part of the new Green Light District — head to this block of Magazine Street to find New Orleans’ largest assortment of eco-minded businesses all in one spot!

Branch Out has definitely got me hooked. The ladies who own this cute boutique are fantastic. They’re always very helpful and engaging. They have a great selection of hand picked vintage pieces that are moderately priced along with a wide range of clothing from emerging designers that are all worth swooning over.

These ladies know where it’s at! They carry a great selection of local designers who make everything from hand beaded jewelry to head bands and hair pieces. If you are looking for something local and unique that no one else has, this is your place. Their selection of vintage jewelry is amazing. I have to control myself everytime I go in there! The beaded fleur de lis jewelry is made by the owner’s mom and all the money goes towards orphanages in Burma! its a great cause and i get so many compliments on my piece!
