C Cajun Chicken

We stopped here for lunch during our conference. It’s a stall which serves fried chicken. The other stall lines were way longer and we only had 1 hr left for lunch and didn’t want to waste it waiting for food. A 3 pc dark meat fried chicken combo was $ 8.99 which includes rice (dirty or jambalaya) and a med soda. The 2 pc dark combo with med soda and red bean rice was $ 7.99. You place your order and take the food to a table to eat. Looking for a place to sit was challenging as the Riverwalk area was crowded because of Navy Week (Fleet Week) and convention folks. The chicken was pretty good, reminded me of Popeye’s or Church’s fried chicken, the southern way. Didn’t like the red bean rice as much as the ones you can get at Popeye’s.
