DONOTGOHERE! I REPEATDONOTGO! WORSEEXPERIENCEEVER! It was my first time here and they had a white lady to my pedicure! Red flag! She didn’t know what she was doing, kept poking my skin to the utensils and fucked up my polish on my toes! the owner kept looking at her and my toes, then shook her head, like really! Unprofessional WILLNEVERGOBACKTOELMWOODNAILSAGAIN!

Gel nails were ok. But she made deep cut in one of my nails when filing. Didn’t really apologize either.

Very good work. Came in on a Monday for an acrylic refill. $ 23 they don’t have prices posted so ask for price 1st. Gel top coat extra $ 5. Didn’t get the top coat. So we’ll c how long the opi polish lasts. I’m praying for two weeks at least.

I was in an out within 30 – 35 minutes. The nail tech was very precise and paid a lot of attention to detail. They sat me down within 30 seconds of me choosing a nail polish color(which they gladly introduced me to the new OPI hello kitty collection). Very pleased with my nails and I will definitely be coming to this nail salon in the future!

Sweetest staff & great pedicure but when it comes to a full set of nails by far the worst. I got«solar nails» & that’s when they use white acrylic on top of the glued on tips for a long lasting French manicure but sadly she didn’t pay attention and there want enough white acrylic on my left thumbnail and you could se the glued tip underneath… I had a hair appt and couldn’t stay to let her do it all over. She asked if I could come by a few days later but I will not be going back. She had ONE job. Now it’s been a week and these things are already lifting! How sad & what a rip off!

This was my first time going to elmwood nails. I’m not sure if everyone here is like the lady who did my nails or not but she was rough and did a terrible job. My nails weren’t filed right the gel polish looked gloopy and made my nails look like they had had a little mound on it. The lady wasn’t kind at all even when i tried to make small talk she acted like I bothered her. I wouldn’t recommend going there at least not with her.

I went here because my usual salon was closed and I wanted my nails done before the weekend. It is small and there were only 3 people working(2 on pedicures and one on nails). I had to wait about 10 minutes or so. I got an acrylic refill and the younger gentleman who was my nail technician did a great job. Their color selection was a little disappointing but the people and the owner Mary were very friendly and eager to please.

I’ve been to this nail salon a few times. I would give it a 3.5 if that was an option. You can tell immediately that it’s a family owned establishment and they are all hard workers and eager to please. They do a nice job with a spa pedicure as well as a regular manicure. My last visit is the one that keeps me from rating it a 4. I opted to do a gel manicure and I think they left my hands under the UV light for far too long. I began to feel a burning sensation in my fingers. It happened in both hands and that’s never happened to me before. The UV light is supposed to stay on for 1 minute and then it shuts off but then it restarts again. I asked the lady if I was supposed to take them out or let them go another cycle and she said they could stay in. I don’t get gel nails very often but I thought you’re only supposed to need 1 cycle(maybe 2 at the most). Mine went 3 cycles for each hand and that’s when the burning started. Even they were a bit concerned. In the end, my nails were fine and the polish lasted the 2 weeks that it’s supposed to, but the burning sensation was cause for concern. Also, when I went back 2 weeks later to have the gel soaked off, I was charged $ 10. I’ve had other salons do this service for $ 3 and one salon I know of even does it for free, so I was a bit shocked by the $ 10. But they did do a bit more than those other salons that just have me soak my hands until it comes off. They used the rotating file to scrape the polish loose and plus brushed some cuticle oil over the nails to help them heal — so I guess that’s why the $ 10 charge.

I love this nail salon. Friendly, nice people who take their time scrubbing my feet.
