Would be great to be able to do anything at this location without being harassed for money. Even had one of the homeless guys they refuse to run off act like he was going to try something when I told him nicely I had no money to give. Great store, employees are nice, but the homeless people make it way unsafe.

The On the Run store is now a Circle K. Hope they improve service and make it safer for the customers to purchase gas without being harassed by others.

Aside from getting gas, this Exxon station has a huge food store inside. It is one of the few places near my work that I can get a cup of coffee in the morning and have a choice other than regular or decaf. They feature«gourmet» Bengal Trader coffee and have 6 different offerings, not to mention nearly every flavor of Internation Delights creamer(if you’re into that sort of stuff). They must tend to it regularly, as I have not yet had a cold or «stale» cup of coffee. They also have a small Krispy Kreme display with fresh donuts every morning. «Freshly» made deli style sandwiches are also in the coolers if you are looking for lunch on the go. My only complaint is that the location near Lee Circle tends to attract a lot of homeless people in the parking lot from the nearby missions. It’s bad business when they panhandle from the customers and probably deters more timid customers away.

Writing a review for a gas station is as futile an effort as trying to catch wind with a net but I’m going to try it anyway. I don’t think gas station owners care about reviews the same way that restaurant/retail businesses do. They get their business solely on location and price. Word-of-mouth marketing doesn’t apply to gas stations! If you love the usual gas station junk food they got you covered: the prerequisite ICEE, old stale nachos, fountain drink machine, and hot dogs(check), Krispy Kreme doughnuts(check), beer and soft drinks in back(check), chips and candy(check), and of course coffee, cappuccino, cigarettes, and lotto tickets(check). The gas pumps are usually pretty busy b/c this is the only gas station in the downtown area. Nothing special about this place. I’d give it two stars but it’s plus one for being next to the WDSU building. You may see someone from your favorite newscast(I’ve seen Camille Whitworth here a few times). COMEHERETHISPLACEISAWESOME!!!(You think the owner will give me free gas/beer for telling ppl to come here?)
