Perfect breakfast spot to sit outdoors and start your day! Local neighborhood. Easy to bike to.

Very cool little café! A bit busy on a late Saturday morning, but at least once you place your order you can sit wherever you want. The breakfast tacos are brilliant! Nice little area location as well.

Right around the corner from my house, and perfect for getting a Cuban sandwich and iced coffee in the morning! They’re always adding to the menu and I love it more and more each time I return.

Good food, amazing ambiance. There was a nice according playing music. I got the fig toast, definitely should have gotten bacon on it, but it was still alright. I wish it had a bit more flavor, it was kind of plain, but over all good experience.

ABSOLUTELY, WITHOUTRESERVATION, UNLIKEANYNEIGHBORHOODKITCHENINCOLUMBUS… PAGODADESERVESRADICALACCLAIM. The lines are consistent, constant, eclectic and communal and this alone should indicate the respect, admiration and desire to support this creative entrepreneurial venture. FOOD, GLORIOUSFOOD… I found the identifying assistance with GLUTENFREE and BEGAN to be extremely valuable. PRESENTATION… it’s there. TASTE, QUALITY, PORTIONS, PRICING, CONSISTENCYAREABOVEREPROACH. I was visiting NOLA living in a TREME AirBnB so a great walk to PAGODA served me well. Another couple staying where I was recommended my first visit… appreciated. I went back again to double check myself on the awesome experience the first time. My first visit I had to have things explained to me and she didn’t flinch. I used the phrase ‘your kitchen’ while there and I wanted to experience the excitement I observed all around. STAFF…creative, presented themselves artistically which was welcoming, professional, cared about the visitor and food… you know food is an artistic medium. I know of nothing like PAGODA in Columbus… sou my experience with Pagoda meant a lot to me. Savor and celebrate each visit… fresh, in house crafted, respectfully executed soups, sweets, savory meals. THANKYOUSHOUTOUT to the PAGODACAFE crew for allowing me to be a guest at your kitchen table.

One of the most relaxing outdoor settings in NOLA. Small café style restaurant setting with almost entirely outdoor seating. Sitting on the patio with a coffee in hand & a nice breeze made for the perfect afternoon.

A couple of guys and I were visiting Jazz Fest for the day and stopped by a local café to grab lunch. The café’s setting was an indoor kitchen and outdoor patio atmosphere. When we arrived there was a line with manageable waiting time. The menu was easy to follow and the clerk was very friendly. There was minimal wait time in receiving our meal and once we got our food the food was very delicious. I got the breakfast tacos and was amazed on the fresh flavors. The overall experience was hospitable and worth trying!

What a cool spot! The iced tea is PG Tips which is pretty dope, and there’s plenty of nice outdoor seating. On the day I happened to be there, there was also a street festival going on so I got to sip my tea to some live music. The food looks great too.

What an adorable and awesome little café. Our friends took us to Pagoda today for a late breakfast and it was so fun. We ordered some toasts, some rolls, Nutella Banana bread, and iced coffees. There was a long line ahead and behind us, but the food came out in about the time we expected — totally fine. It’s all outdoor seating but there are some shaded spots for the sun-sensitive. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leash and must stay outside the main ordering area.

I really enjoy the food here. It’s fresh, healthy and delicious. And it’s fun to sit outside. My only complaint is they should recycle all the plastic they use. For a place so hip, it doesn’t make any sense not to.

BLUF: Free refills on coffee. Great outdoor seating. Food looked good but didnt have any. If you drink your coffee there it is free refills. That is insane. It is strong coffee too. I love outdoor seating and that is all they have. There might be some covered areas but it is all outside more or less. Wife got a fancy tea thing that she really liked. We didnt get food but it looked like a simple healthy place for a snack or breakfast. They won my heart with the free refills on regular coffee.

This is a perfect spot to come on a New Orleans spring day and just relax. It is mostly outdoors, so if the weather is not fantastic, you are SOL. The far includes breakfast and lunch. I got the fig toast and it was light and delicious. My husband got the tacos and he seemed to enjoy them. We got the guava pastry to go and that was the star of the meal for sure! How it works: wait in lone, order, pay, they bring food out to you. Seating is first come first serve and can get quite crowded. I thought the ambiance was just really fun and cute and can’t wait to come back! Seems to be dog and baby friendly.

Nice little spot. Would be a five but had limited breakfast varieties. Everything that we are was delicious and fresh. Would come again. Nice outdoor patio and sun and shade.

Excellent spot for coffee and a light breakfast or lunch during the fall through spring months but a little to hot for the summer since all of the seating is outside on the expansive patio. I stopped in for lunch and had a sandwich with a side salad and it was good but nothing special, the breakfast, coffee, and accompanying baked goods look great. Great place to stop and eat or stop for a sip just go when the weather is cool.

I’m always on the lookout for budget friendly options in this city… places where I can grab a good meal with a friend(or date) while still having enough dough left in my pocket for other things… like my light bill. So, when I discovered Pagoda Café right in my neighborhood(thank you Unilocal app!) and I saw that the most expensive thing on the menu is $ 9(you read that correctly… everything on the menu is $ 9 or less), I knew I had found my perfect spot! I had 2 breakfast tacos which came with some delicious, although spicy, homemade sauce. I also had iced chai with almond milk, which is nice because most places have soy milk or regular milk and that’s it. My friend got the chicken salad and also commented on how fresh it tasted, especially the bread which was buttered and grilled right before our meal was served. All in all, I love this place and will definitely be back again before the summer is out. Even if it is just to sip some iced chai and people watch on the patio!

Yum. Fresh ingredients, clean place, great staff. I was thrilled to get a decaf coffee and use real vanilla syrup to flavor it. My friend got an iced regular and loved it. Our food was just as good — I got the ham and brie and wish I could put that apricot rosemary jam on everything for the rest of time. I also wish I could have tried it with the French bread but they were out, so they replaced it with ciabatta. My friend had a sandwich with fried lemongrass tofu that was so good, she came back two days later to get it again. If you’re in the 7th ward, don’t miss this one.

I have had Pagoda Café bookmarked now for quite some time, and I really don’t know why I haven’t come in. It is a tiny building, only big enough to go in and order your food, but the shaded outside area is great to come to eat. The staff is very friendly. To drink, I had the ginger tonic. It was light and very refreshing on this warm morning. The bacon tacos were awesome, hot and so fresh! The side dipping sauce does have a very slight kick, but is SO very yummy! I am very glad I came, and I look forward to coming back!

I love that I can walk here from my house. I love that they serve breakfast tacos.(I am a taco addict who does NOT want help.) I love that on a nice day you can sit on the patio and watch the neighborhood go by. I love that one Sunday a month when some cool guys and their reggae 45s show up and play cool music while the kitchen serves some delicious curry and I can bring my own wine and play dominoes on the picnic table. I love that ALL!

This place is great if you’re looking for outdoor seating and a nice selection of coffee options. The kitchen and check out counter pretty much encompasses the entire indoor area. So, this venue seems perfect when the weather conditions are pleasant. I can only imagine that the proprietors shall have some sort of plan for inclement weather conditions other than the large patio umbrellas in place at the time of my visit. I was running an errand nearby in the neighborhood and wanted to have lunch and get back to the office in a timely manner. Looking at their menu, I decided to have the Pressed Espresso Roasted Beef Sandwich on Dong Phoung French Bread, with Swiss Cheese, Dijon Mustard and a Side Salad for $ 9. Well despite the pleasant ambiance, this initial experience does leave a little to be desired. Perhaps this price fits the going rate for a Nouveau Riche Cuisine menu item but it just didn’t quite set right with me. Judging by the many contented reviews, I obviously selected the wrong menu item for my lunch choice. The Panini Grill process was overdone and rendered a burnt flavor to the Dong Phoung French Bread. The taste of the Espresso Roasted Beef was practically non-existent because of the triple layer of Swiss Cheese and Dijon Mustard. The Side Salad contained some really fresh nutritious ingredients, just very little of them. I am planning to return, but I won’t be so hasty in selecting my meal the next time around and will pay more attention to what previous reviewers had to say.
