For a quick bite to eat this place is convenient.
I honestly like to come here because they always have fresh cut fruit. The pastries for dessert are tasty but particularly the chocolate brownie. It’s huge. Prices are ok.
Breakfast is always good. Simple menu but great potatoes and biscuits.

This is one of the only breakfast spots that’s walking distance from my job, so it’s the place I visit for morning chow. Pretty good food.
The décor is dated and sparse and the tables/​chairs are reminiscent of a truck stop. Yet, the food offerings are great for such a small establishment. Morning fare includes eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, potatoes, biscuits and grits. Lunch runs the gamut: po’ boys & other sandwiches, red beans & rice, salads, cake, cookies, fresh fruits and various juices & soft drinks. The line moves quickly & they even accept credit cards for all orders over $ 5.00.
You can dine in or get food to go. Pretty solid diner-​type food with clean restrooms. It’s located inside the 1555 Poydras high rise and is open weekdays only from 7am-​2pm.
