Surprised by how much we liked this place! Chosen on the fly for a quick breakfast and totally worthy of its Unilocal rating. Buckwheat crêpe with seafood, cheesy grits, and Iron Chick juice were favorites!

This pleasant little café is tucked away from the craziness of the French Quarter. The service was great and everyone donned a smile. The have fresh orange juice, which I appreciated greatly. The veggie eggs Benedict was very well done, and the grits were probably the best I’ve had since being in the south. If you are visiting and can wake from your drunken stupor early enough to make it here, give it a try. It was only a 20 minutes walk from my hotel on Canal.

By far the best restaurant I’ve been too in New Orleans. Everything from the omelette to the fruits were amazing. A must come if you would like to get away from the hotel breakfast. The customer service was just as good. Definitely worth it.

4.5 stars. Thanks to Unilocal I got breakfast here one morning while at a conference. The Belt Eggwich was spectacular! The jalepeno cornbread was so good and the fried egg yolk oozed over the kale and bacon, making each bite delectable. I would happily eat it again, especially over the bland, dry Convention Center breakfast. The only downside was that they were swamped so service was pretty spotty.

My friends and I came here for the last meal of our Bachelorette weekend, and we could not get enough of the wonderful food! First off the wait staff was fantastic. There was a short wait for a table but everything was well organized and we were seated in no time. Then we had a bit of confusion in the planning and more people showed up than we had room for at our table. They moved us to a set of window tables and got chairs for everyone. We really appreciated them understanding. All of us shared food so we could try it all and we agreed that the crab eggs Benedict was the best dish we got with the bbq shrimp and grits in a close second. The cheese grits that came as a side with most of the dishes was delicious. We agreed they tasted like Mac and cheese. The drinks were fantastic as well. They said that the mimosas were just normal OJ and champagne, but they were very sweet and we could swear we tasted honey in them. The Bloody Mary was killer too! Love the mason jar serving style. I highly recommend this restaurant

Staying around the convention center has it perks, unfortunately trying to find a good bite is not one of them. Luckily, I did find this place, thanks to Unilocal!Cute spot, tasty food, and yummy drinks. Sweet tea with orange and mint is very refreshing — I will be stealing that combo. Tried Papa’s French Toast, which is coated with corn flakes — stealing that idea too… After the iced tea, it was a must to try their fresh squeezed OJ(divine). They also squeeze their own apple juice! Can’t say nicer things about this place… You wont be disappointed…

Stumbled upon this place while attending a conference across the street. Such a find! I broke one of my cardinal rules of travel and have come back here each day I’ve been in New Orleans! Both Chicks are delightful and the team is well run. They actually greet every customer that comes through the door. I had everything from breakfast to salad to sandwiches and nothing disappointed! Fresh, local ingredients in a relaxed atmosphere. At peek hours, when everyone at the convention center is looking for nourishment, the wait can be long and service a little slow, but well worth it for a meal that is prepared to order and that has not been sitting under a heat lamp.

Had a nice breakfast there. Their crabcake benedict with an interesting twist on hollandaise — mustard based. it was good. Also, service was good and friendly. Coffee is served in huge mug. will be back

Breakfast is my favorite meal, and I’m always bummed when a place lets me down. Not Two Chicks. The grits here are LEGIT! Don’t skip them. I had them along side the farmhouse omelette which is full of chunks of turkey and smoked Gouda it was delicious. This is a must visit if you can make it over!

I love brunch in New Orleans, and Two Chicks Café is another brunch spot I’m adding to my brunch rotation. Located near the busy Convention Center, Two Chicks provides a much needed relief to the hustle and bustle. They seat you almost immediately, which is nice for a brunch spot. I love their BBQ shrimp and grits so much that my only critique is about the portion size! I wish they gave me more! I don’t know, maybe it’s the bowl that it’s served in that makes it seem so much smaller than other shrimp and grits I’ve had, but the flavor is phenomenal. Beware about getting orange juice here, as it’s freshly squeezed and therefore comes with an up charge. at $ 4.99 per cup(and they put ice in it), I’d rather not. So, yes Two Chicks Café is now in my brunch rotation, but only if I’m in the area.

We came here after searching for a quick breakfast place near our hotel. Two Chicks Café is a cute little restaurant located in the bottom corner of an office building. The boyfriend ordered pancakes and sausage and I order the crab cake benedict. We both got coffee and the entire time I had to fight the urge to spring for the orange juice — which is freshly squeezed with a nifty little contraption that can be very distracting. Boyfriend’s pancakes were large, sprinkled with powdered sugar, and garnished with strawberries and bananas. The crab cake benedict came on a large English Muffin and the hollandaise sauce was creole style with a spicy mustard(instead of a mayo.) I also got a side of fruit. The crab cake benedict was nice — I probably would forgo the creole hollandaise on my next go around, but the crab tasted fresh and the flavors melded well with the egg, bread and sauce. Boyfriend’s pancakes were delicious! They had a hint of cinnamon and were light and fluffy. The service was quick and our server was attentive and friendly, even though the restaurant was packed. Our coffee mugs never ran on empty and our food came quickly. Overall this is a solid little breakfast place and definitely one we’ll try again on our next trip.

Freshest orange juice ever. They have the coolest orange juicer that runs constantly. They must’ve gone through about 30 oranges in the time I was eating there(and obsessively watching it). Omelettes: incredibly fresh, good portions Pancakes: huge, steaming, topped with powder sugar Potatoes: soft, well-seasoned The service is very quick, friendly, and helpful as well! The place doesn’t look like anything spectacular from the outside, but the food is quality and for a good price.

Ate here for brunch with friends/co-workers. Really good brunch spot with a relaxed atmosphere. Kinda hard to find since it’s located on the side of a shopping plaza. Our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered the French toast(so delicious) which was savory and loved the caramel sauce. Really recommend for a good brunch spot!

Excellent place to grab breakfast, location is convenient if you’re near the Warehouse district, place is slightly awkward as it appears to be on the bottom floor of an office building. You will need to borrow a key to use the shared restroom but place is open and bright and therefore welcoming. Staff is amazing friendly, I think I met one of the two chicks and she was pleasant as well as the rest of the staff, all helpful and quick with whatever I needed. I had the Kicking Chicken Omelet, it was delicious, perfect size, eggs blended and cooked well, chicken moist and flavorful. Toppings were well spread-out inside the omelet as well leading to all the combined toppings being plentiful in each bite. Roasted potatoes were tasty as well and a nice accompanying item. Well worth a visit for quick, delicious and high quality food.

Two words: Eggs benedict! I had the traditional benedict and my friends had the crab cake benedict and both were so delicious! These dishes also come with one side option and you have the choice of fruit, roasted potatoes or grits. Most of us got the fruit, which came with chopped bananas and strawberries, which I thought tasted fresh. My friends also ordered grapefruit juice and the cucumber lemonade, which they said were really fresh and tasty. So everything tasted amazing, why only 4 stars? Slow service! This café is pretty small and can be pretty busy. We had a party of 5 and surprisingly only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. However, once we were seated and ordered our food, it took forever for our dishes to come out! We were all so hungry by the time we got our food that we finished eating within 10 minutes(possibly even less than 10 minutes). On the plus side, the café is within walking distance of hotels near the convention center, which is a great thing for people in NOLA for business events at the convention center. I would definitely come back if I returned to the area!

I came here for breakfast after my redeye flight. The waitress said the shrimp and grits was good so I went with that. It came with garlic bread and was a bit spicy, but really good. I could eat that a couple of times a week! I also came for lunch and had an pretty good dish… can’t remember what it was and I didn’t upload a pic. The staff are nice and the owners work here so you get to experience the local, indie café vibe which is missing from this area. I also enjoyed the cool interior décor.

Although getting to this restaurant was a bit of a hassle(its on the corner of fulton and diamond), it was well worth the yummy and relaxing brunch we ate. Highly recommend it to anyone getting on a cruise and wants a nice place to chill beforehand. We came at 11 am on a Sunday morning and there was a little bit of a wait(5 minutes), but we were seated right when a table opened up. As an added bonus, the cute and quirky personality of the restaurant matches the service of the waitresses. What oddly stood out for me foodwise was the pancake. My friend ordered it as a side dish and it was one of the best pancakes I’ve had in my life.(I unfortunately ended up eating most of her pancake like the fatty I am — shoutout to my very forgiving and generous friend!). It had a strong cinnamon flavor and wasn’t bland flour flavored like most pancakes. As for main dishes, I also tried the crab omelet. Mixing seafood into an omelet seemed a little odd to me at first, but I was definitely wrong. The crab was fresh and added a different flavor that I have never had before. Although most people have said they don’t like the toast, I actually really appreciated how crispy the toast was and ended up again eating my friends toast. It added a nice crunch from the omelet. If youre trying to choose between potatoes, fruit, and grits, go for the creamy grits! You won’t regret it!

There are some places that just catch your attention. Some places that you walk out saying, I’ve got to come back. I didn’t have that feeling here. Two chicks is a nice little café offering a little more than standard fare. $ 7 for a breakfast sandwich without side, not even fruit, is steep. I got the barnyard. Which seemed a bit too simple for my liking but they had me at herb cream cheese so I went with it, indeed it’s simple. The turkey is super thick sliced like country ham. Wasnt expecting that and honestly could have been better had it been normal deli sliced. I added tomato and it was a good addition. It’s just too plain. It needs Arugula or something to perk it up. Thick sliced turkey with a fried egg slapped on some bread is reminiscent of «what’s in my fridge that I can make this morning because I’m too lazy to go to the store». Sounds harsh I know.. I’m sorry, well not really. Honest feedback. I would not hesitate to come here if you’re in the area but don’t go out of your way to try this new establishment. I may have to return with a greater appetite for some shrimp and grits. The staff are sweet and service was quick even during a relatively busy time. I like the layout and appreciate the bar seating for single people like myself. I left paying $ 14 and some change + tip, for a breakfast sandwich and a mimosa. I feel like I can get more bang for my buck elsewhere in this city.

NICERTHANSUBWAYFORBREAKFAST A much needed café to complement lunch at «Cochon Butcher» 2 blocks away. The AM menu is pretty extensive and priced from $ 7 crepes to $ 8.50 Eggs Benedict with a Creole hollandaise. The staff is bubbly and hard working; and the the build-out is surprisingly bright(for a parking garage). THENEGATIVES: — lunch is pricey(all sandwiches after tax are over $ 10, the crab melt will run you $ 17) and«Two Chicks» can’t compete with«Butcher’s» price/quality(see my $ 13, unimpressive 11-shrimp doughy poboy photo); — it’s not counter service! Most cafés serving conventioneers/office workers with short windows of time, smartly cut out the server to reduce waits and it eliminates the tip. 75% OFTHEIR5-STARS AREFROMSPORADICREVIEWERS 20 of «Two Chicks’» unprecedented 26, 5-star reviews(as of 10÷6÷15) were from people with less than 10 write-ups.
