The soft served mint chocolate chip ice cream is amazing. As a die hard mint chocolate chip fan thats something coming from me. The soft served caramel on the other had was good but in comparison was a bit lacking in flavor, almost had a chocolate taste. Location is great, right of the beach. I would definitely go back.

Incredible location right before you get to the beach. It’s a small place with a window you can order from on the outside but boy do they pump out some good ice cream! Lines all day long but they move quickly and they’re well worth the wait. I had vanilla and key lime and both were great!

Nice ice cream place a block off the beach. They have a ton of choices both soft serve and regular. We ordered the chocolate, coffee and chocolate fudge brownie and loved all of them. Our youngest ordered an ice pop and was happy. Tonight we tried soft serve. We ordered chocolate, coffee and black cherry. All were good.

Great little ice cream shop just seconds from the beach! I loved the hand scooped chocolate so much I came back for a second cone 10 minutes after eating the first! Not only do they have hand packed AND soft serve ice cream, but also burgers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, hot dogs, soft pretzels, personal pizza, chicken tender, nachos, cheese fries, soft drinks and more. There are a good variety of ice cream flavors, but if I wasn’t clear, the chocolate hand-packed is THEBOMB!!! Other frozen treats include shakes, sundaes, floats, smoothies, ice cream bars, slush puppies, snow cones, popsicle and Italian ice. Next time we are in the area I will definitely be back for more! This is the flavor of ice cream that makes me feel like a little kid again. 2016⁄3

My favorite ice cream spot in NSB! They have about a bazillion flavors of ice cream both scoop and soft serve. It’s a short walk to the beach and there’s nothing like eating your drippy cone while sitting in the sand watching the pelicans.

This place lives up to its name of treats on the beach. My husband and I had a conversation earlier in the day while we were at the beach of what we consider«beach food». My husband said hot dogs, while I said ice cream. Well, we scored when we came here as this place has both! Treats on the Beach has an incredible amount of other food items to choose from(reference the photo I took of the menu). They even have some of the old school ice creams that you’d find on an ice cream truck. We each opted for the hand scooped variety. The ice cream comes in a styrofoam cup so I think I will go for the cone the next time. It doesn’t take away from the taste however. I savored my scoop of coconut almond joy while my significant other inhaled a scoop of chocolate peanut butter and a scoop of snickerlicious. The ice cream was sinfully rich and mine had tons of almond pieces! The place was busy but they cranked out the ice cream and food to keep customers happy. Seating is limited but in the shade which is a plus on a hot summer day in New Smyrna Beach.

This is my go-to place to stop at whenever we go to New Smyrna Beach. I absolutely LOVE soft serve ice cream and the fact that they offer sooooo many flavors makes me a happy camper. I have had the cotton candy and blueberry and they were both fantastic. And of course I get my cones with rainbow sprinkles because I never want to grow up(haha). Prices are good. I have never met a rude employee there. The only thing that can get you is the line and if you are not the one ordering than you are not in the shade… whomp.

Scream by the sea Treats on the Beach is a little ice cream joint just down the street from New Smyrna Beach. Not much to look at, the type of place that looks like it hasn’t changed one bit over the years. For a small place they sure have a lot of stuff. About fifty flavors of soft serve, lots of hard serve ice cream, sundaes, shakes and even some burgers and hot food. Just so many creative and cool flavors of ice cream, it would be difficult not to find something you like. It does get crowded during the peak season but if you can’t find a table or bench at the store you can always take your scream down to the beach Treats is open all year long but in the cooler months the hours can be irregular. A wonderful old fashion ice cream joint just down the street from the beach. Just doesn’t get much better than that.

Best place to get ice cream close to the beach! It was quick and delish! We always go here when we are at new Smyrna beach. And they always seem to be busy.

Great local spot. They have almost every flavor in the world and cookies and cream and chocolate brownie fudge are the best ones. Moose tracks and snickers great too. Turn off soft serve at 8 but we are hard scoop folks so who cares? ;) That’s about it. Amazing. $ 12 for two smalls, one medium and tip. Sweet server girls. Fun beachy vibe. Amazing. Go!

This little ice cream shop had potential to be really good & a really good go to spot for whenever I hit New Smyrna Beach. However, this ice cream shop was Overpriced, really BAD –rude– service. Plus the fact that our food came out after me and my girlfriend drank half of our smoothies — mine was about done. The smoothies were really good, and satisfying, and the food was okay. I think if I do hit this place up again, I’m defiantly only getting their ice cream or smoothies. I do understand that this place is a ICECREAM shop, so maybe I’m being a little harsh. But service goes a long way.

I thought the ice cream was average but we did get ok service since there was no one else in line. Eating outside on a hot day with not a single water fountain in sight was not the best experience. Prices were fairly high as well.

We went here on 2÷12÷2013 and it probably would have been an OK experience if not for the rude teenagers working there. The girl who took our order had a big attitude and didn’t seem to like being at work. The lady behind me in line complained to the«pickup» window about waiting for her ice cream, and she still received her order before I got mine. One of the girls who was«preparing» ice cream cones and cups was talking on her cell phone the entire time. She handed customers their items while talking on her phone!!! I will venture to say we will not go here again just because of the service. The ice cream was average.

A cute little ice cream/soft serve place in New Smyrna. Line wasn’t too long when we went — I ended up ordering the cookies n cream and coffee ice cream. Scoops were rather large but I totally welcomed it since it was so hot outside. We sat at one of the tables and they had these cute trivia cards on each table where we played some trivia while we tried to finish our massive ice cream cones before they melted.

(08/10/2012) What’s an teenager with no fake ID on vacation with the fam to do on Friday night in a one-horse beach town? Why hit up the local creamery, of course. Treats on the Beach seems to be THE spot to see and be seen for the underage(and those accompanying minors) crowd. Unusually, Treats on the Beach has 18 flavors of soft serve and, in general, mildly flavored. Another thing to note, this is Florida, and if it’s anytime but dead of winter, your soft serve is going to liquefy at an alarming rate. All in all, good place to get your ice cream social/date/fix on while you stroll by the beach.

Delicious soft serve ice cream flavors! I had banana, very light and refreshing. Lines are long since it is in tourist area and it is the only snack joint around. A bit overpriced at $ 3.50 for a cup of flavored soft serve, but it is good.

Good thing I don’t live in New Smyrna because I’d probably get the chocolate milkshake every day of my life. The. Best.
