Staying here made me quite the unhappy camper. I ended up staying here because I was on a long drive and could not find anything cheaper(other than the 1 star hotel down the street with only a smoking room available with two twin beds-eek). The hotel was $ 80/night for a non-smoking room. When I settled into my room, I immediately noticed the dirty walls, the gross pillows, the carpet coming apart and the broken bathroom door. I eventually showered and laid down, ready to pass out. As I turned off the TV, I noticed that I could clearly hear the people in the neighboring rooms. All neighboring rooms, both sides and above and below. I had to fall asleep with the TV on to drown out the growling of the man below me and the giggles beside me. After finally falling asleep, I was awaken at 2am by an extremely loud fire alarm right outside of the hotel. After horrifyingly jumping out of bed and gathering my stuff I realized that the sound came from the fire trucks parked outside the hotel. The alarms went off for about 15 minutes before they drove away to do their duty. The next morning, when I went to drop off my key, I stood at the front desk for multiple minutes before an attendant arrived. Finally dropped my key off, never to return.

Words cannot explain the issues I had with this hotel. It started the Friday I got there. I entered my room began to put my clothes up when I seen a thousand legs insect crawling up the wall next to the bed. It paused then scurried behind a picture on the wall. I immediately looked for a room attendant. He gentlemen(who didn’t speak English) looked at me like I had three heads on my shoulder did not understand what I was saying so when I finally got him to understand what was going on that the critter was behind the picture he took the picture off the wall(chipping the paint which I took pictures because I wasn’t paying for it) killing the critter. Now here’s the crazy part. The chips of paint that was on the floor… Well the attendant used his hand and swept the rest of the chips behind the night stand not getting a vacuum. I called room service the front desk person said to me oh there’s a bunch of them around and I killed one the other day. It’s that time of year for them to come out. I felt weird but I was like okay at least he’s been aware. The evening my lady and I pulled the bed spread and checked the sheets. I don’t know just in case something bad was around. So when I checked the comforter and the sheet had yellow stains on it. I called the front desk and have them give me new sheets and comforter. That morning my lady and I decided to head to the mall to hangout. We seen the room attendants working on other rooms down the hall. But when we got back to our room the bed was never made the use towels was still in the bathroom. No one came to clean our room. I had to call the front desk again for some towels. The next day we was asleep and I felt a pain on my forehead. So I went into the bathroom and I saw that my forehead had a lump. A nice size lump there and above my forehead. So I went back to check the bed and behold there was a bed bug in my bed. I immediately took this matter to the front desk. He was apologetic and got the owner to take the location. At first the owner believed I was making it up until I showed the critter. He wanted me to understand that about the Thousand legs and the bed bugs. I wasn’t able to relate. So he decided to contact Priceline to give me my money back and I left. Other then me being bitten my a bed bug and The bar never opened. You get what you paid for I guess. I will not go back.

No offense John A., but this is the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever seen. I literally waited longer in the lobby to check in than I spent in the room. Dirty bedding with black marks, sheets which I seriously doubt were changed, and a God awful smell. I checked out of the econo lodge and got a room at the days inn. much better!

Shabby but cheap. Clean-ish — if chipped tile and scarred walls are going to bother you then it won’t feel clean enough

Needed an inexpensive hotel for a travel through from NY to WV; as this place was right off the interstate picked it. Ohh what a surprise! First I do about 150 nights a year for business so certainly can rate hotel rooms! The room, #206 was real user friendly and clean. The bathroom was well lit and had a nice big sink; hot water was instantly. Overall everything in the room, heat and fridge, worked well. WIFI worked too. Iron and iron board easily accessible. Breakfast was good too(see photos) they even had REAL yogurt a rarity at a Choice brand hotel. Overall a very pleasant stay and certainly will keep this place in mind if I pass through the area again needing a stay for an overnight.
