Extremely disappointed in tonight’s customer service. Its been 2 weeks since I’ve been here and the regular female employees were not here. Started my laundry at 9pm. I realized i left 3 items behind and by 10:15ish i brought it to the laundromt to wash and the new employee said i couldn’t wash it. I explained to her that it was only a few items and that i still had a washing machine going that would need to go in the dryer after so what was the problem? She said no. I was out of there by 11:30ish with my clothes. All that time my 3 items could’ve been washed and dried there instead i am at the 24hr laundromat on 175th st and Broadway with 5 minutes left for my 3 items to dry. Ridiculous service tonight. Perhaps I will start coming to this 24hr laundromat instead!

the laundry was fine my problem is when I have to give you my phone number 4 times and it’s still wrong, as well as you can’t get my name correct, honestly it’s not that hard. Also a week for wash and press is a joke.

I haven’t had to do laundry here, so this review is only about service for dry cleaning. This is the most convenient local option for dry cleaning, as it is located around the corner from my apartment. The prices are expensive per piece, but due to convenience, I have sucked it up and taken items here a few times. Employees were never overly friendly, but get the job done. About a month ago, I had a terrible customer service experience here. I dropped off 5 items for dry cleaning on a Friday at 11:45AM. $ 45 later(for a few silk tanks and informal dresses), I had receipts that said it would be ready the following weekend, Saturday at 4 pm. So eight days later, a half-hour after my «pick up by» time, I went to pick up my dry cleaning. Low & behold, it was not there. Since eight days for dry cleaning is already a long turnaround, I was a bit upset and asked the young woman at the counter why it wasn’t ready, even 30 minutes after my ticketed«pick up at» time. She cobbled together a mumbled answer that it wasn’t ready, maybe I should come back in an hour. So I gave them another hour, and my 5 pieces still were not there. Some of the items I was having cleaned were reasonably high-end pieces(kate spade, j crew), so I was a bit concerned, and asked to speak to someone else. A guy comes from the back and tells me he’s sorry they couldn’t fulfill the order on time. Tells me they contract out their dry cleaning to a facility in the Bronx; «maybe I can call them and ask». I then asked if I would be given a refund for their lack of promptness, poor service, and cavalier attitude towards me and the same young woman from earlier says no I can’t receive a refund, that’s not their problem. The whole time she was«helping me,» she could not look me in the eye once, and was muttering to herself in Spanish(I believe her name was Eliana/Aliana). I left extremely angry, returned the following Monday(TENDAYSLATER), miraculously my pieces were hanging on the racks ready to be picked up. After all this hassle, one of my dresses had the same food spill on it as when I had dropped it off. This review makes me sound like a pretentious, entitled b-word, but it doesn’t seem to much to ask that if I’m pre-paying for a service(especially one that a facility in the Bronx is doing for you), the least you can do is provide customer service that is welcoming and helpful. This is not coming from a racist standpoint, but as with many shops in Washington Heights, I’m sure I would have been treated much more respectfully if I were a Spanish-speaker. Small businesses in this neighborhood must adjust their attitude towards the influx of non-Hispanic residents. Whether they like it or not, gentrification is slowly taking place in the Heights as all Manhattan rent rises, Columbia dorms are being built right down the street, and young couples move uptown for better real estate value. I will be taking my dry cleaning business somewhere else.

Open long hours and on Sunday’s! They do same-day laundry and it’s super cheap. There is a longer turnaround for dry cleaning. They accept credit cards but not Amex. Also during the week they give out free detergent. Overall it’s the best bang for your buck.
