They make the best sandwhiches! And the service is very quick and friendly. If you want to grab something quickly while on the run this is your go to spot.

Probably the worst bacon egg & cheese I’ve ever had. Bathroom is disgusting, saw an employee leave the bathroom without washing his hands. There are hundreds of better places to grab breakfast in NY… avoid this one.

If you live, work, or ever find yourself in midtown Manhattan, please do not patronize the 33 Gourmet Deli… They just ripped off my wife and I for 10 $… They gave us 4 $ change instead of $ 14, and then refused to fix their error… We waited 20 minutes for their«tape» to be checked,(missing our original bus) and then our next bus was about to leave for JFK(which they knew we were waiting for), so we had to go… I believe this is a common scheme they play on unsuspecting tourists… I asked for the $ 10 again before my wife grabbed me and said the bus was leaving, but they decided they would keep the 10 $ instead… I have given this place hundreds and hundreds of dollars of business over the years visiting New York and staying close by, and for them to stiff us for $ 10, which was their error, was super low… I gave them a few choice words before I left, once I realized they were stalling for our bus to leave again, and that I was going to be out the $ 10… To add insult to injury, the diet Pepsi we bought there was almost a year expired and the date on the bottle says August 25, 2014(Only to be found out once on our way to JFK)… I’ll be calling the health inspector next… Please do yourself and your health a favor and do not shop here!

DONOTSHOPHERE! I paid with a $ 20 and they gave me change for a ten. I noticed right away and the woman behind the counter says«no you paid with 10!» I get my husband to verify that he handed me a $ 20 and then they say they have to check the tapes. The woman was VERY rude about it. So we miss our bus to the airport. I go back to check with the owner on his progress with the videotape. The owner comes out and is standing in the doorway(apparently no longer willing to check the tapes) and says«if you want them checked have the cops check them!» This place is ripping people off. There are a million other places to shop at in NYC, I would suggest you use one of them.

In a disappointing turn of events, after two and a half years of smiling and ordering mostly the same item from this place, I decided to switch things up and order a buffalo chicken sandwich. You, like, me… would assume this would be chunks of chicken, with buffalo sauce. I felt guilty ordering it. It’s the type of meal you order every once in a while, knowing full well that you’re going to be tasting that shit all day and breathing it all over co-workers in meetings. It arrived quickly, but my wrap was not filled with the mystery chunks of chicken and buffalo sauce I had been craving, it was filled with what looked like a turkey cold cut. Meh, honest mistake. Maybe I’ll just eat it, it’s prob good, I thought. Nah, I really want to taste that gross-ass buffalo chicken, I decided. And so I called to let them know there was a mistake and to ask if they could bring me the right one, no rush. That’s when this relationship took a turn. They insisted that I should have known to scroll further down to the wrap section and that by clicking on it in the sandwich section, I would get a buffalo chicken cold cut(who on this planet knows that monstrosity of a cold cut even exists?). I accepted defeat, especially since it was being handed to me with such«Absolutely no way we made a mistake» certainty. Still craving that disgusting ass lingering taste in exchange for immediate satisfaction, I took another look at the Seamless menu. Nope, no where did it say that all items in the Classic Sandwich section are all cold cuts, in fact, there’s actually a sandwich or two in addition to the Buffalo Sandwich that are not cold cuts. Unless there’s a Chicken Cutlet cold cut(buyer beware). I called back and this time reminded them that several of their wraps and sandwiches are not even listed on their Seamless menu. I let them know I order from them almost daily. They said they know. They know who I am.(Great!) They continued to get angry, refuse to acknowledge that their menu could be confusing and they also let me know that they can read English. Conversation over. I called Seamless. They took a look at the menu. Agreed it was confusing. Agreed that the assumption that a person who orders a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich is expecting some Boars Head science project of a cold cut is absurd. Refunded my money. A nice, two-minute conversation. A little customer service training guys, try it on.

Ordered a ham and cheese hero and not only was it delicious, it was humongous! Service was fast. Good selection of chips and other snacks. Great place and pretty good prices considering where you are. Highly recommend!

After hopping off the bolt bus, this was the only thing that was open and I wanted a quick snack. I had their sweet and sour chicken, wings, fried chicken and plantains. The plantains were AWFUL it was as hard as a rock! The sweet and sour chicken was good though, the wings and the fried chicken were also semi hard. If it wasn’t late at night I’d probably have gone else where. This place is pretty mediocre and they charge a lot per oz.

I’m torn about this place. It’s close to my office and delivery is quick, but I had two very impressive experiences followed by a really awful one. First two meals: The bibimbap here is actually good. A lot of these are odd in one way or another at various delis, but this is close to what you’d get at a cheap Korean or Japanese restaurant(in the city, anyway). From what I remember, the amount of chili paste they mix in is just right, but they’ll give you more on the side in case it’s not enough for you. A few weeks later, this was just as good. Meal today: I ordered a DIY salad and tossed in a yogurt to hit the delivery minimum. The salad was disgusting. The tofu had a very strange chemical smell to it, and the beets were shredded and pickled. Why?! I was hungry, so I held my breath and ate half of the salad until I realized that food you have to eat in that way should not really been eaten. I don’t usually throw out food, especially when I know I didn’t pay a lot for it, but I just couldn’t do it. So I opened my yogurt(they’d packed it in its own paper bag) — only to find they sent the non-fat kind instead of the regular I’d ordered. I hate non-fat yogurt. It’s always gross with that strong artificial sweetener taste. Maybe the key here is to just avoid salads. Lunch should be actually edible and not make your stomach hurt… Or order well after the 12−1pm lunch rush, as I did today…

I had to think for a second to remember the«real» name of this place, because we just call it ‘Peep’ around my office, since it’s next to one of those weird peepshow cinemas. They upgraded their sandwich/salad process maybe about a year ago, which has made it more efficient. The sandwiches are quite delicious here and you’ve got a very wide selection. The Turkey Cuban has to be one of my favorites. The main downside is that you probably have to walk through puddles and trash next to the Bolt Bus station, or tourists coming out of Sbarro, or past the Peepshow to get here. The service sometimes take longer than other delis, but given the wide variety of sandwich types I’d say it’s worth it. The price is pretty standard for a Manhattan deli. Nevertheless, it’s one of the«go-tos» among my office buddies for lunch options.

This is my go-to spot in the morning. The workers know what they’re doing, and now that they notice i’m a regular they don’t even have to take my order to know what I want. The service is quick, the staff is friendly and although I can’t say that I’m familiar with their lunch service/food, based on the menu which is both eclectic and vegan/vegetarian friendly, I’d say it’s worth testing. Old reviews don’t seem to be in line with how this place functions now, so I’d give it a first try or another shot if you’ve avoided it based on those reviews. Anyone in the area that needs to get a good breakfast and be in and out quick and on their way to work, this is the place to be. They work in synchrony, it’s actually pretty cool to watch the process, from order to finish. Enjoy.

The egg salad sandwich with bacon and pickles here is freaking delicious. My bus to DC leaves from here, and I get my dinner to go every time I make the trip. Seriously, the thought of one of these babies actually makes me look FORWARD to a BUSRIDE. I don’t think there’s another substance on the face of the earth capable of that. Be warned though — the price moves way on up if you ask for any alterations or additions to their fixed options. Little expensive, but worth it. The sandwich makers here know their stuff.

I frequent this place for lunch and haven’t been disappointed yet. To me and my coworkers it’s «Stripper Deli» because of the Peep World next door. They have a wide selection of quick order sandwiches or will make anything to order. They slice their meat to order and all toppings are fresh. Pretty cheap for midtown too. A long roll sandwich, chips, and a soda usually runs you about $ 10.

I’m very angry… Usually this place has OK food but today was an exception and I’m never going back… Ordered a simple breakfast sandwich while I was one of 2 people waiting… after 10 minutes, there were about 10 of us waiting and complaining about the service. I saw part of my breakfast sandwich just sitting there while one of the workers basically did nothing. I finally said something and go tmy food. was stuck there for 15 minutes, late for work, and I arrive to work and my breakfast sandwich basically had no egg, no cheese, and was all bread. I paid $ 5 basically for 2 pieces of bread, waited all that time for an AWFUL sandwich, from AWFUL service. WILLNEVERGOBACKAGAIN!!! I In fact, I might ask for my money back during lunch. And the CC minimum is an annoying $ 7 Café R around the corner will now have my business

My office isn’t far from this place. It’s a Deli, sandwiches are good and of a decent size. The place has a large board that has the listed sandwiches they offer, plus their buffet bar isn’t bad looking either. The selections are pretty big and you can pretty much customize everything you want on your sandwich as they cook it for you right there. For under 10 bucks, it’s not bad. At best it’s average and comparable to a lot of the other delis in the area.

My office is located right above the Manhattan Mall. It is the epicenter of the culinary desert that is Midtown. When it comes to nearby lunch options there isn’t much. 33 Gourmet is really the only option if you don’t want to walk a few blocks over. It’s a good, clean, no frills, deli. Boars Head meat. Fresh bread. All the fixings. Standard salad bar. Also, it is affectionately known as Peep Show Deli around the office due to it’s proximity to the Peep Shoe Adult Store. Though juvenile, it does add a bit of charm to the place.

Average deli but also surprisingly affordable in mid-town. I expected to pay $ 9 – 12 for a sandwich wrap but to my surprise it was only $ 6. If you use credit card there is a $ 7 minimum. They have sandwiches and a small buffet area. They also have seating on a small second floor area toward the back of the store. I would say this place is average and would come back.

My go-to place for a salad when I don’t bring lunch. Pretty standard Midtown deli.(By the lb salad bar, sandwiches, soups, beer). My biggest gripe is the price. The SAME salad will be anywhere from $ 6-$ 8… Huge menu of sandwiches, but again, carbs = the enemy.

So I usually don’t go this far west in the area, but I was meeting a friend and it was right there and more than anything it was the delicious looking breads that got me. There were all these great looking loaves right there staring at me. I got the P6(Turkey with fresh mozzarella, tomato, avocado and ranch dressing) and well… 1. Size — It was well portioned. More food than I needed. I wouldn’t complain about a smaller sandwich for less $ 2. Taste — was good. The only condiments on there was the ranch so it’s what you’d expect 3. It didn’t exactly go too well with the 2 block walk back to the office. It was a pressed sandwich so it was a bit juicy. Messy but not a deal-breaker. 4. Price — now here’s the thing… it was $ 7.75 I think and came out to $ 8.17 all said and done. I gave the girl at the register $ 10.07 and I got $ 0.85 back. First of all, that’s not right anyway, but when I asked her about the other $ 1 she looked so confused that I just left it alone. It’s crowded with all the foot-traffic in there but the people who go there seem to have their numbering system down and there’s seating upstairs and that’s all good and stuff. Was my sandwich good? Yes Was my sandwich $ 8.17 good? Maybe Was my sandwich $ 9.22 good? No But I’ll give it credit for having a far better selection than other deli’s in the neighborhood.

This is my «go to» place for lunch, as my office is nearby. It’s your standard, run-of-the-mill Korean deli. Buffet bar, with sandwiches up front. I really like their lo mein noodles. They have a good selection of sandwiches too. On par with Lenny’s nearby. The prices are okay. My one big gripe is their container of watermelon. $ 4 for not a huge amount. Kind of on the expensive side. Also, sometimes its a pain to fight through the Bolt Bus crowd outside, but it’s not a huge deal.
