Large portions. Very good food. Reasonably priced. BYOB. The bread is authentic Turkish bread. I could eat it for days.

It could be what I ordered or just the day I went but I didn’t enjoy the experience of eating there. I had the turkish ravioli and wasn’t a fan of the bland taste. I’ve had much better elsewhere. Our waitress wasn’t much help either, especially since it was our first time there and she was not very knowledgable about the menu or attentive. As I said, it could have been an off day for everyone. I don’t think I’ll go back.

Summary: My favorite of three Turkish places in the area. Casual, authentic Turkish food that is well made. Great lunch deal. Atmosphere: Lively during dinner. You will get a lot of locals and also random tourists that are looking for a bite. For lunch, it’s a nice quite spot, as it doesn’t quite get the lunch crowd. Service: They are Turkish, so professional and not overly warm, but on point. Food: I have tried nearly everything here and can truly say you can’t order anything bad. My two favorites, though are the meatballs kofke and Sheppards salad. The eggplant and humid apps are also worth a try. Other: They do have a catering menu that is affordable for parties. Also, portions are a good size for NYC. Sharing is a real possibility.

Been here about three times. Food is great and portions are solid. Their salmon is amazing. First time I ever saw my girlfriend finish her whole plate. For a nice dinner for two, the bill usually was not over $ 65. The ambience is great. Has a nice turkish feel to it which I like. And the waitors were always attentive. All in all, I recommend if your in the area.

Great food and nice hip atmosphere. Ordered chicken shish kebab and lamb shish kebab which came on a bed of delicious babaganous along with sides of warm freshly beaked bread. Rice was cooked with noodles which are a typical method for turkish cousine. The rice was mildly oily but ediable. Seating was nice and comfortable.

Adore the grilled branzini(European sea bass) dish that comes with the fresh and flavorful Aba salad. Such a terrific combo & perfect for hot summer nights

I chose this restaurant for my family after a Broadway show. It is a quick walk from Broadway. We loved it. The appetizers were great and the bread that came before the meal was hot and tasty. My family all ordered various sorts of meats and were very happy. Perhaps best, and most surprising of all, is the BYOB and no corkage fee. Thanks for a wonderful dinner!

This Turkish restaurant is bustling with locals, so it’s definitely got the stamp of authenticity. We tried the cold appetizer sample, which was a great assortment. Favorites were the eggplant and the tomato and vegetable mixture. Interestingly, they were served with crusty bread rather than the traditional puffy Lavaş Turkish bread. The hot appetizers we tried included falafel, which was crispier and a different shape that we were used to, and some excellent zucchini pancakes. We also shared one entrée that was an assortment of all the meats, and thought each was very well prepared. The lamb chop was my favorite, as it had a nice char. Service was friendly and efficient, especially considering the restaurant was completely full.

I came here with some girlfriends for dinner on a Friday evening. They are BYOB, which is always fun. Vegetarian options are extremely limited, so don’t come here if you’re not planning on eating meat. I ended up mixing a few appetizers/sides and was very disappointed. Another thing to note, the restaurant was freezing. It ruined the experience for me, my legs and feet were going numb. Granted we were by the door and it was really cold out that day, but I don’t feel like it would have made much of a difference being a little further back. I will say that the service was very good. Everyone was friendly and they let us hang around for a while after we finished our food to continue drinking our wine.

AMAZING Turkish restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen. They are BYOB, their food is delicious, and their staff is very friendly. We came on a Saturday around 6:45, and had to wait about 20 minutes for a table for 2, so I would recommend calling ahead. They did become less crowded around 7:45 as the 8:00 theater crowd finished their meals. First of all, their complimentary bread is amazing. You can easily fill up on it if you’re not careful! We ordered the Falafel appetizer($ 8.95), Lamb Adana Kebab($ 18.95) and the Chicken Adana Kebab($ 17.95). All were delicious and flavorful. Would totally recommend Aba if you’re in the area!

Only reason why I am giving 3 star is because of how cold the dining area was I Dined here earlier today with a few others the food was AMAZING. We ordered many different apps and entrees. Staff was friendly. And kinda But was very disappointed on how cold the room was– ESP coming in from the chill outside — would deff go back

So I had never heard of this place, being a frequenter around this area. My Turkish friend suggested we come here, because he was classmates with one of the waitresses. I showed up and he had ordered some appetizers, I recognized the pieces of flatbread and the small cold platter. I filled my plate with hummus, babaganoush, and Cacik. The zucchini fritters were good, but had gone cold. I had a bit of everything anyways since I hadn’t eaten all day. I was deciding on what to get, since it had been a long time since I had Turkish food. I decided on getting the Iskendar Kebab, since my friend recommended it. We also got a large ABA salad, which is like an Israeli salad. I was trying to finish as much food as possible, since my friend was fasting for Ramadan and had already ordered before me. The salad was great, since I am a big fan of cucumbers and tomatoes. The Iskendar kebab came with a lot of tomato and yogurt sauce, it looked delicious. When I finally tried a bite after five minutes, I realized it had gone cold. All the food seemed to be pretty cold, and I wasn’t sure if it was fresh or not. The lamb was well cut, and I had it with heaps of tomato and yogurt sauces, yummmmmm. I couldn’t finish the rest of it, and my friend said not to, since it wasn’t that good. He also said how in Turkey, the meats are made with organically raised non GMO animals, since such a thing didn’t exist there. We then settled for dessert, and got the Kazandibi and some Baklava. The Baklava was very sweet, too sugary sweet as I tried to finish it. The Kazandibi is one of my favorite desserts, it tasted great but had a different texture than the one I was typically used to. Overall, the food was good but could have been warmer. I would definitely give this place another shot– next time with more people to finish the food!
