Andrew Gershon, DDS

Have had several procedures done by Dr Gershon and without question, he is the most competent Endodontist, and for that matter dentist I have ever dealt with. He is pleasant, extraordinarily knowledgeable, and thorough. HIs new office in Manhattan is state of the art. My new Dentist (old one retired) is very impressed with Dr Gerson’s work.

This guy is unbelievable! Not only did I get a great examination regarding possible damage to a tooth, but he responded to my emails both before and after I saw him. I was prescribed a special anti-​sensitivity toothpaste and, as I was running out of it, I emailed him over the weekend about the need for additional tubes. First thing Monday morning he calls me regarding when I could drop by his office and pick it up. You don’t expect that much responsiveness in today’s environment from healthcare practitioners, so I thought it should be noted.

Dr. Gershon is smart, funny, and unequivocally an expert at what he does. I can honestly say he is the best dentist I’ve met and would recommend him to anyone. I practically looked forward to visiting him in order to have some work done in my molars!

Wow, what a nice man! I have never met a dentist like him.
Sure, the facilities are quite dated, and sitting in his office will bring back your childhood memories. The office may not necessarily look sparkling clean like other modern facilities, but it isn’t offensive. And there is a reason for his office not looking like an IKEA showroom: Dr. Gershon does NOT rip you off.
He is VERY conservative with the procedures he performs and what he charges. For example, with my insurance plan, he is entitled to billing me the difference between the actual cost he charges and the insurance reimbursement. However, he always write those differences off. I don’t know anyone else who does that.
So, he gets 10 Stars (yes, on a 5-​point scale) for his pleasant personality and professional integrity, but the dated office equipment brings his ratings down to 4 overall.
