As my first time ordering from here I had a good experience. The delivery service was quick and pricing was fair for quality food. I would definitely eat from AnTalia again!

I had the best Turkish food I’ve ever had so far in NYC. The place is small and very well decorated. We were greeted by the staff right when we walked in. They serve complimentary bread and olive dip in the beginning and everything was hot and fresh. I got the chicken kebabs which they were a nice portion with rice and salad, also they serve a side of homemade haydari sauce(yogurt and garlic mainly) very very delicious. Also, I got a free glass of wine with my entrée because I checked in on Unilocal,so thank you Unilocal :)

I found this place through a groupon deal & decide to give it a try. We had reservations didn’t seem like we needed them once inside we were seated right away. They start u off with a nice bread basket nice warm bread & an olive oil paste not bad. Drinks we had white wine, good wine I believe it was Pinot Grigio. Appetizers we tried the Calamari good tasting calamari nice dipping sauce. Main meal I went with the Turkey meatball dinner comes with rice & salad good meatballs & rice. My friend had the Chicken chops also comes with rice & salad interesting dish, chicken had a nice taste. Not much room left for desert but the deal did include it they gave us Custard not bad. As for the place itself decent size simple décor. Service was good everyone was nice & attentive prices w out the deal I would say are decent. Everything we tried was good overall but nothing was over the top amazing.

I came here for the lunch special. Actually the lunch special here is quite pricey compared to others around the area. Being a pescatarian, I had the falafel lunch special. Not only did the food not taste good, but the portions were so small, that it wouldn’t even feed a pigeon. It was so horrible I forgot how many falafels I got. I believe it was four, all uneven sizes and smaller than the cart food outside. It came with rice and veggies. I think I need two lunch specials from this place to fit a halal guy’s container from the food cart. My friend told me take out portions were much larger. I don’t believe it, not coming here again. Disgruntled guest.

The food was excellent so was the service, This was our first time visiting that area and since we have been to Turkey we know the real taste of Turkish food, by far this was the closest food to what we had back in Turkey. They also made us comfortable, the server brought us a complimentary dessert at the end as well. You should definitely try the mix appetizer plate. It was has a great variety of appetizers(mezes). Would love to return again when in the area!

We went here on Christmas Day as it was one of the few places that was open. Not only was the food fantastic, but the service was quite good as well. I ordered the Turkish meatballs and they were absolutely amazing. The Turkish coffee was well made and delicious. I feel as though the prices were a bit high for the overall experience, but it was still really worth it and a return visit.

Good to have turkish food if you are in city, i had Hummus, babganosh and kebab, they all were good, the only thing i didn’t not like that they tell you how much you have to pay tip(no matter how was the service) however, i was going to pay more for the service, but i am not that type of person who likes to be force to do something. So far the food and service were really good.

If you like burned bread(not toasted, BURNED), old lettuce, and the fact that they completely ignore the special request you write on Seamless, by all means, go ahead and order from this place! So disappointing!!!

Its good. Not spectacular. My boyfriend and I went with a groupon deal and we were satisfied with it. I would probably not go back again given the food was just ok and ambiance reminded me of my college dining hall. It was a good meal nothing more.

I ordered the Antalia Salad and I was able to check-in and get a free glass of Rose. I also ordered a side of hummus. I was not exactly blown away by the salad. It was just okay quantity and quality wise. Service was top notch. The waiters were very attentive and nice. Ambiance-wise, it was a decent place Price– Of course, it was expensive for what you get, but that’s New York!

I checked in for a free glass of wine, it tasted like fruit punch. But besides that the meal was amazing. There were 4 of us and we each got a Turkish beer which was good. We shared a babaganoush(my first time eating, I liked the garlic flavor) and a hummus(I’m used to garlic flavored hummus so I wasn’t a fan) I forgot the names of everything but I got this lamb platter and it was so delicious and reasonably priced. My friend doesn’t even like lamb and he enjoyed it. One of my friends also got a chicken dish and it was so juicy. I expected it to be a little dry but it was the juiciest chicken I’ve ever had. Service was weird bc we had 2 waiters so they asked us the same things twice. But despite that I whisk definitely come back again. Loved the food. Prices were good

Review is for Seamless delivery only: Pretty quick delivery considering how much food we ordered(4 entrees and baklava in about 25−30mins). The quality was definitely above expectation! Although at $ 19.99, the lamb shish kebab is sort of pricey, it was very tender, flavorful, delicious lamb. I’d definitely order it on my company’s dime again :) My colleagues ordered the salmon filet, beef & lamb adana, and falafel and were all very pleased. They give you a huge piece of turkish bread with each entrée and it was very good(I’m picky choosing which carbs are worth the calories but I devoured this). Portions smaller than expected, but the quality of food compensated for it. THEBAKLAVA! Is definitely the best I’ve had around this area. The amount they give you is small, but every bite oozes honey and sugar. You won’t want to share.

To be fair, I’m not a huge fan of Mediterranean cuisine. So I had my reservations when we ordered Turkish. Since I didn’t actually dine at the location, this review will focus solely on the quality of the food. 1. Falafel(Chikpeas, onion and celery seasoned with garlic parsley and herbs served with tahini sauce): Pretty good. Tastes exactly like what you’d expect. Falafels are delicious. There were five. Came with sauce and a poor quality salad. 2. Pachanga Borek(Scroll phyllo dough with green peppers, pastrami, kashar cheese and fresh tomato): Basically a Turkish calzone. It was delicious. Sadly there were only two pieces, also sitting on poor quality salad. 3. Chicken Adana(Finely chopped chicken seasoned with spices & herbs, charcoal grilled on skewers, served with rice and vegetables): Price point was approximately $ 15. It wasn’t sizable or filling. There were two kebabs of chicken — dry chicken, heavily over-seasoned to make up for the fact that it was dry. The consistency was more like sausage than chicken. It was served on top of a very basic salad that wasn’t quality eats(we tossed it) and rice that was actually pretty decent. There was also a huge pepper that no one will ever eat and just takes up space and a succulent tomato. 4. Cupra(Royal Dorado)(A whole fish from the Greek seas, served with mix greens and carrots): This dish was more than $ 20, which is understandable for seafood. So you best believe I had certain expectations. For one, fresh fish. I tend to be quite picky with my fish — I expect fresh fish when i purchase it from restaurants. It should either be slaughtered right before it makes its way onto my plate, or you should clean the insides extremely well and treat it thoroughly with vinegar and wine to get rid of the scent of dead fish. This fish was not fresh — and it was extremely fishy. There was also no flavor to cover up the fishiness. Overall, terrible dish. I’m appalled that they charged so much for such poor quality food. TLDR; Appetizers were good — but then again falafel and carbs are always good. Chicken was dry and fish was not fresh. Verdict: Poor quality and really overpriced.

Not a bad place for Turkish food! SERVICE: Decent and kind — not the most attentive, but the staff was probably bored as the place was pretty vacant VENUE: Spacious, casual place with mellow music in the background FOOD: Very tasty — — — Experience/Venue: We arrived around 5:30pm on a Wednesday night. Immediately, I noticed the waiting area which had benches with wheels so it looked like you would be eating on a carriage. However, we were brought to the dining room towards the back, which had cushioned seats along the wall. There were no tables in the middle of the floor. It was empty around this time. There were only two or so tables occupied during our time of dining. — — — Food: — Complimentary bread: very good — soft with appetizing olive sauce(and I typically dislike olive). — Sucuk Izgara(thinly-sliced chargrilled spicy [mild] turkish sausage): These were flavorful and juicy sausages, and not even mildy spicy. — Mercimek Kofte(Red Lentil Patties [boiled lentil combined with hot pepper salsa(mild), scallions and parsley served with romaine lettuce]): Tasty but not my type of food; it starts off dry and bland, but when the strong aftertaste kicks in, it becomes delicious. — Ribeye Steak(ribeye steak grilled to perfection served in Turkish style with rice and vegetables): expected more flavor for a medium rare. It wasn’t as juicy or flavorful. — Chicken Adana(Finely chopped chicken seasoned with spices & herbs, charcoal grilled on skewers, served with rice and vegetables): juicy but average tasting. — Baklava: very sweet! Too sweet even for me!

Came here with my friend last week for dinner. It was convenient for the both of us to get to from our offices. AnTalia has a prix fixe menu for $ 23. You get an appetizer, entrée and dessert. I still found it a bit pricey for the amount of food you get. I ordered the hummus for appetizer, salmon kebab for entrée and dessert is baklava(you don’t really get a choice). My friend ordered the Shepard Salad for appetizer, chicken kebab for entrée and same dessert. Both the apps were delicious. My salmon was okay, not that flavorful or juicy. It was a bit dry. My friend liked her chicken kebabs though. Baklava was waaay too sweet. I had to cut out the part covered in syrup in order to eat it. Plus, they gave us such small pieces! I get that Baklava is succulent, but come on. It was such a disappointment. I would’ve preferred it if they offered other desserts in place of Baklava. Service is really good though. Our waiter was really attentive and very sweet. He checked up on us twice and made sure our glasses were always filled. Overall, food is okay, service is pretty good. I recommend getting the hummus, it’s delicious.

After receiving a nasty comment back from this restaurant through living social, all I can say is, poor customer service! I’ll be telling all of my friends and family never to enter this premises!!! I’m hoping for a refund of some sort from living social. If you want to know what the restaurant wrote to me just message me. I would give it no stars, if I could!
