As an interior designer, there are three things I look for in a vendor: the quality of the product she’s selling; her knowledge of her product; and the service attitude of the proprietor and her staff. So often, even in establishments that sell luxury goods, one of the latter two is unsatisfactory. Olga and Maria at Art et Maison never disappoint. They are my go-​to vendor for cutting-​edge, stunningly beautiful European kitchens. Their Elam kitchens can rival anything sold by Boffi, Poggen Pohl, or any of the other much-​more-​expensive Euro kitchen manufacturers, but AEM sells them without the thwartingly restrictive policies (no schematic work without a deposit; no itemization) or high-​end superciliousness of other vendors. They represent cool European fixture manufacturers that no one else in the city sells. But what makes them extraordinary is their service. They have the contacts to do almost anything, and they will do everything that is within their power to make sure that I and my clients get what we want and need; they really understand the level of turnkey service that a busy professional designer needs to sell a product, and they follow-​up, check-​in, and keep me advised of every ball that’s in the air. And always in the most cordial manner. I can’t recommend them enough.
If you’re considering renovating your kitchen or bathroom (or if you’re a design professional who’s doing either or both), save yourself tons of time, worry, and trouble: use them. You won’t be sorry.

I have removed the story of my dealings with this company due to some updates to the events that have transpired. I was made whole in the end, but it took a lot of work on my part as well as leveraging the connections that I had. My experience was related to a Snaidero kitchen, and in fact the people from Snaidero were very helpful to me and I believe that they have a very good product.
