Have been here twice, each with RADICALLY different experiences. The first time was great, our food and experience were easily 4+ stars. The second time, we were a group of 7 people. We placed our order at 6:15 and told the waiter that we had a show at 8. 6:40, nothing. 7, nothing. We asked the waiter where our food was(other tables got their food), and the waiter said their«computers» were down. So really, the waiter never put in the order. We ended up getting our food all spread out(first came in 2 minutes after that, my order came 20 minutes after) and had to run to make our 8 curtain call. Will definitely never come back, despite the food.

Pretty good lunch buffet. Fried chicken dumplings were alright, but the pad kee mao was good. Thai iced coffee was good and sweet.

The food is delicious. I work in this area. I always find myself ordering from the lunch specials menu. Today I asked my Co workers if they want Thai food. They all wanted it. We ordered from the lunch special which they all loved. It comes with the drink and appetizer. But the portion was very small. After we finished eating we were still hungry. Please guys give more food with the lunch special. I like this place too much and I don’t want to change it. I will come back to leave more reviews.

Besides the terrible ambiance, food is pretty good. Looks like one of those places where you’d expect a bad rating and such but no – this place is actually not bad. Ordered a special«authentic» dish on the menu, was warned it may be weird and not everyone likes it, but I loved it! Flavors were really bold yet pleasant. Portion was large. Even the crab ragoon which I was willing to bet would be terrible, was okay – stil not good though. Still I wish they had a better selection of food and better seating options. Everyone was crammed on one side of the restaurant while the other was empty and the tables are really small!

The lunch specials are the bomb! They do not disappoint, the highest in price is about 11 bucks, with that you get your entrée(which is of good portion), a small appetizer, and a beverage of your choosing. You can not beat that, when the food is good and delivery is on time. Work lunch all day!

One of my best Thai food I had. The place is so cool, well designed, and gives the spirit of half party half restaurant. The food was served beautifully and also tasted special. I will definitely go back to enjoy more the amazing atmosphere and delicious food!

FINALLY! Ive been searching all over NYC for good spicy food! This is my first trip to the big city and only here for 4 days so I didn’t have much time. I searched on Unilocal for nearby restaurants(close to Times Square) that had spicy food and to my disappointment I didn’t find any that satisfied the urge to ride the dragon. So my last night in town my wife and I tried this wonderful restaurant and absolutely loved it! To start we got the spring rolls(which were awesome!) and for the main course, I got the red curry with beef. It’s a huge bowl of spicy goodness! Also my wife loved hers(Kao Mon Kai Tod) and definitely recommended’s it! Definitely the best restaurant we’ve tried!

Small place. Not a lot of seating. Good place for intimate gathering. I like the décor of the place. The food and drinks are satisfying here. Good happy hour. It is conveniently located. They are hospitable here. I had the shrimp massaman avocado which I enjoyed throughly.

Great Thai restaurant in the Theater District. This place is very small, but certainly worth a little bit of wait if you are craving Thai. The spicy pad udon was not even that spicy, but just the perfect blend of peanut sauce and spices. I also enjoyed the chicken dumplings as well. Service was great and really enjoyed the cool, blue atmosphere of this place.

My friend told to check this place. I liked it but nothing special. Good quantity was less for the price charged. Drinks were cheap even after happy hours.

Id come back here in a heartbeat, mainly for the lunch specials. For under $ 9 you get a normal portion sized entrée to choose from, a small appetizer, and a damn drink! how can you go wrong with that shit?! oh and the flavors are great. I took a risk and got the salad, normally i wouldnt do this since the salads can be rip off at Thai places, but i loved it since it was yes a basic salad, but the sauce was warm. Yup, a warm ginger./peanut satay sauce. Loved it loved it! I didnt like the one big slice of tomato, thought that was pointless. However, that thai ice tea it came with. Delicious, and a full size served to me. It was perfect, i thought it would be watered down and a small cup – but no, a full sized drink in a mason jar. now for the grand finale, the pad thai lunch special with tofu. Good flavour, not too greasy, and a large portion. I like spicy, but it didnt taste spicy, however, it took about 6 horus of fermenting to taste the spice flavor since i took home the leftovers. the service started out good and then slowed down. the woman seemed to kinda forget about me and ate her own lunch, but over all she was okay in the beginning and the food was served in a very fashionable time. The place itself is small, but veryfancy and modern looking. deff a chill spot.

The ambiance was really nice and so was the décor. The noodles I ordered came in a really cool bowl — definitely a slight modern twist. The food was great and so was the service! My friend and I both got a lychee martini, which was also really good.

I know it’s Saturday night at 6OCLOCK Service is super slow and all of food they served were COLD. They have only 10 tables fit only 20 people. Hire more employees if you get busier! Food was okay but didn’t worth to wait 30 minutes for.

Nothing like a booze late lunch. NINE hits the spot! This trendy Thai dig is conveniently located away from the tourists of 42st. I ordered the lunch special. It came with fried chicken dumplings and pineapple beef fried rice. The whole meal was under 11 bucks. The apple martini really had me going! Let’s just say I had a nice tipsy day back at the office!

Extravagant décor can’t make up for lackluster fare. The Spring Rolls were the best option on the menu. The Kaeng Fak Thong Avocado came… without avocado! And the Strawberry Martini was sugary syrup colored red. It’s too bad because the service is pretty good, and the prices/portions are reasonable.

$ 6 Drink Specials All Day! At Nine on 9th Ave is a great choice for small gatherings. Emphasis on small since this place is the size of a Midtown studio apartment but it’s enough to get the job done. I love the chandelier and décor which suits a chill night out. I recently visited this loungey restaurant after work with two of my friends for drinks, dinner and catching up. I recommend coming early or a little before 6pm after work to avoid waiting around for a table. The service was adequate and we never had to wait long for anything. Lychee Martinis were just right and everyone enjoyed their meals. I cannot comment on the authenticity of the Thai cuisine but I can say that it was very tasty. I enjoyed my Chicken Thai Rice and sure the other menu items are just as good. The prices here are extremely reasonable for it’s Midtown location and you can actually engage in conversations with your friends. Unfortunately, you may have to wait for a table due to limited seating and they do not sit guests unless everyone is present. Overall, a great spot and highly recommend it especially for a Girls Night.

I am not going to lie. The food is pretty good, especially given the horrible Thai options in the area. The reason for my lack luster rating is for their horrible customer service. I discovered them about a month ago, and have ordered from them 5 or 6 times, and they have forgotten my can of soda(which I pay $ 2 for) about 4 or 5 times. Up until this point I have never called or complained. It was actually a running joke that my can would be missing. This last time I ordered, I asked the man on the phone to please make sure they do not forget the soda. Fast forward 30 minutes later, my food is here, minus the can of soda. After calling the restaurant up, I told him my soda was missing, and to credit my card back the $ 2. I figured after bringing this issue to his attention, this would not be an issue. He stated he would just give me a free soda next time. I gently reminded him, this has happened repeatedly, and I would just want the $ 2 credited back. After some back and forth, he told me he would make the credit that evening. The following morning, I check my account, and there is no credit. I called the restaurant, and he tells me he can not credit me. No problem. It’s not about the $ 2. It’s the principal.. P. S. Enjoy the $ 2. You just lost a customer. My co workers and I ordered from here about twice a week. Do the math.

Decided to give this place a try after walking passed it multiple times. Honestly, their $ 6 drink special posted outside caught my attention. Came in only seeking a drink and small bites, after all I was actually headed else where. No reservations, no problem. My cousin and I were able to snag a table although afterward this place did fill up pretty quick. We shared their chicken larb, which was extremely salty. I do love salty foods but this dish was unbearable. We also ordered their shrimp dumplings which was dry and just okay. Drinks were okay a little on the sweeter side(pomegranate/lychee martini). I really do love the ambiance. The chandler hanging from the ceiling is utterly beautiful. The colors blue & black suites well with the restaurant. Perfect for a date, catch up with a friend, or just a place to have dinner/drinks. I wanted to rate this place higher but I wasn’t impressed with the food at all.

We did not make a reservation however we were able to get seats for 6 people within 20 minutes on a Saturday night. PROS: — nice décor — shrimp massaman avocado($ 15.99) — this was really good. Great Portions. Avocado was alright. Avocado was not worth the extra $ 3 as it wasn’t super fresh. You can just get regular Massaman curry with shrimp for($ 12.99). Not spicy at all. If anything it was super mild. CONS: — place is a smaller than I imagined.

Stumbled upon this place after I just got off the bus from Philly. My friend and I were looking for a bar close to the port authority for a quick drink before dinner, but we ended up staying and eating here too. The interior is trendy and well-decorated but extremely small. The food itself was good; not mind blowing but delicious nonetheless. I did enjoy my interactions with the staff though. Our waitress was really friendly as was the bartender who personally gave me and my friend our drinks. He also made them pretty strong, which I appreciated.
