Atomic Wings

I was craving BBQ boneless wings one night with a nice salty crispy side of fries. I ordered from Atomic Wings and ended up depressingly disappointing. The BBQ wings just didn’t taste good… I am not sure if it was the sauce, coating, or chicken but it was almost rancid like… The fries were also bad as well (which leaves me questioning if the oil they were using to fry the food was just old and bad… gross). I am now filled with fear of ever ordering here again. Thank you Atomic Wings :(

I am a hard core die hard wing person and Atomic Wings is my favorite spot. Tania is awesome. She has terrific customer service and she is great to talk too. This is my favorite Atomic Wings…

Slammin… always wanted to try it out after so many times walking by it and it was delicious! I had the boneless 10 piece with waffle fries and I’m definitely coming back with people, tried abusive hot sauce. couldn’t do it so I had buffalo hot which was pretty intense but not over the top. Place is clean and staff was cool, what more do you need?

I ordered from these guys through seamless… and it came an hour and a half later. Their expected delivery time was 30 mins. On top of that, after I called a second time to ask for an update, the guy who answered the phone told me it had already been delivered «a long time ago» and to check downstairs at the front desk. As I was walking down the delivery showed up at the same time. Seriously? The wings were okay, but nothing you should wait this long for.

I was really disappointed in Atomic Wings. I ordered 24 hours in advance for wings to be delivered for the super bowl. They forgot 25 wings ($ 35) and I couldn’t get them on the phone to get the rest of our order delivered. I waited on hold for 30 minutes. This was after I had already paid for the wings. I understood that they must have been busy because it was the super bowl, however when I called back the next day, the person who answered the phone was unhelpful and continued to tell me that he had to call me back. I tried again the next day and the same thing happened, and the employee refused to let me speak to a manager. Very upset that I didn’t get my $ 35 back, and was also extremely disappointed in the quality of wings that were delivered. They were overcooked and lacking in sauce. The employee that I ordered the wings from also assured me that there would be plenty of blue cheese dressing and celery/​carrots for the ten people I was having over to watch the game. However, they sent me 2 tiny containers of blue cheese, 6 carrot sticks, and 7 pieces of celery. There are so many other great places to get amazing wings, I DO NOT recommend Atomic Wings.

Worst service ever! I ordered online through seamless and they called saying the delivery man would not bring me my food unless I paid him in cash more after giving him 20% tip already.
Extremely rude and unethical. There are so many other wing spots in NYC, I will never eat here or order food from here again.

There was one time I came here and actually saw the worker spit into my food so I spit on the counter and left. Wings are great, though!

I was born in Buffalo, and have loved spicy food from the first time I tasted Tabasco sauce. Maybe that’s why Buffalo wings is my absolute favorite meal. I think the wings here are as good as I’ve had anywhere.
There are 6 degrees of hotness, and I go for the second-​hottest, the «nuclear» wings. The «suicidal» have capsaicin extract, which I might like better if it didn’t cause involuntary feelings of nausea.
Anyway, the wings. Fried nice and crispy, with flavorful sauce. They’re a little stingy with the carrots and celery (two slices of each), but maybe most people don’t eat them.
I’ve been here many times in the past, and I’ll definitely go back, and probably soon.

They called me when they didn’t have what i ordered and substituted it with something else even threw in some extra they went above and beyond what i would have expected. The garlic parm wings are perfect and the suicidal sauce is out of this world.

Bought the Buffalo chicken salad with no onions. Somehow that translated into no chips or olives either. For the sauce on the chicken i got Abusive which is supposed to very spicy. It was literally just Tabasco sauce. I know my sauces and that was definitely Tabasco sauce straight from the bottle. Chicken was supposed to be tossed in the hot sauce… instead they tapped out some over my salad. I got a plate of lettuce, tomatoes and chicken with hot sauce all over the place. I understand that some hot sauce might get on the lettuce but to drizzle it over the salad as if it were a dressing? Disgusting. I’m a fat ass who will eat everything up especially after I paid $ 11 but I couldn’t take more than 2 bites. The first bite and the «ok maybe I’m bugging» bite. Just plain nasty.
Btw, my boyfriend ordered a cheese-​burger with bacon. Came with no bacon or cheese. Just patty and bread. Wasn’t bad. Onion rings were very thin and more like onion strings, very light coating and were raw-​ish in the middle. Only thing i enjoyed were waffle fries and my coke…
Service were just rude or at least inconsiderate. Two kids ordered wings that were too hot. They really wanted a drink but didn’t have money left i guess. Asked for a cup of water and the cashier said they dont do that. He could buy water for 1.50. They were digging through pockets to find change and once they came up with it, she said it’s not enough because they need to pay tax. All this while the kid is clearly in pain. She and a fellow customer made fun of them after they left. Rude…
Ok. I’m done. Never going back ever again. I suggest planet wings or wingstop. Much better food and service.

came back here after the CEO and Founder of Atomic Wings contacted me after i emailed the Atomic Wings site.
ordered the same Buffalo Chicken salad. the chicken issue was corrected, but two items were still MISSING from the salad. so sad and pathetic – the salad ended up being a pile of chicken, lettuce, tomatoes and dressing. not untasty but fairly underwhelming and unsatisfactory.
i am unsure whether the kitchen here just doesn’t have the remaining ingredients of the salad or they are refusing/​forgetting to add them.
anyway not sure why this place has repeat customers.

Stay away from this place at all costs. When you order wings, they deliver chicken fingers … when you order waffle fries, they give you regular fries … and when you call the location to get the right order you have to deal with the worst customer service of any delivery restaurant in NYC.
I had the pleasure of dealing with hands down the rudest and most unprofessional Manager, Amanda, when I was attempting to get the right order sent to my house. If Amanda is running this restaurant, then I would give this location about 2 ½ weeks until they are out of business. Amanda gives this place a bad wrap … not to mention the food is OK at best

I hate business being dishonest. This place has false promotion. Price is not as listed on poster. And it didn’t come with my favorite celery and carrot…

I don’t know why this place’s ratings aren’t significantly higher. This is, hands down, my favorite wing place in the city. Most importantly, the wings are extremely consistent. I’ve ordered from them about once a week for the last year. The wings are always perfectly cooked, crispy skin, never undercooked or slimy. They have a variety of sauces but I prefer the hot buffalo sauce. I usually order it on the side, so that the wings don’t get soggy on the way home.

I’m a fan of this establishment because there aren’t really any spots that serve and deliver wings in the area that isn’t a bar. The wings are nothing special. They’re pretty small but drenched in a lot of sauce. Waffle fries are always a great option especially when served with a side of cheese. I recommend the Chipotle BBQ. They also serve various burgers, wraps, and sandwiches. They’re not tasty, but at least they’re offered at a wings spot. I recommend this place if you have a craving for wings and don’t want to eat at a bar, but don’t expect much.

Not feelin’ it. The wings are small and really not much meat on them. The sauces leave much to be desired and the employees are not interested in service.
Case and point, we showed up 15 minutes before they opened but 15 minutes after their web page said they were open… The door was open and they wouldn’t even take a delivery order since we were on our way to a party. Lame.
Looking back, I’m kinda glad they didn’t let us order since their wings were upstaged by the Korean BBQ wings we ordered instead.

There are plenty of options around here for barbecue, asian, eskimo fusion, or whatever weird modern angle you’re into. But if you’re looking for old school Frank’s Red Hot buffalo wings these guys do the job.
I ordered «hot» and they were actually hot. The wings could be a bit meatier though… they use those skinny bar special wings.
I never thought I’d say this… but the celery was great. It was fresh and juicy. Most places have these dried out twigs that have been sitting around for a month. Also they still give you carrots which have been getting the budget axe at bars all over town.
The mac n cheese still had a little al dente to it which is good. The sauce is straight Velveeta. You either like that or you don’t. But they add some fresh on top if the order too which is nice.
To recap, nothing magical going on here but someone needs to do the heavy lifting wing-​wise.

When I go to Atomic WIngs, it’s usually out of bored desperation. The wings served here are typical of the overly sauced and sticky wings that we all grew up with, but with the rise of many varieties of chicken wings (Bön Chon, Kyochon, etc.) we no longer have to settle. I will still come to this location for old time’s sake or to order the burgers which are decent.

When you drink beer for six or seven hours, all things/​wings are going to taste good. I recently learned, and am happy to report to you fine people, that Atomic Wings are no exception.
This location delivers because they know their target demographic isn’t good at walking, and they do so in a timely manner. In addition to the wings that were one step above regular Hot (Fiery? Suicidal? I can’t keep track of the names), I also enjoyed the «Jerk BBQ» flavor. It’s not really «jerk» in any sense, but it’s a spicy BBQ that I downed pretty quick.
The wings aren’t going to blow your mind, but they really will hit the spot when you already have football and beer, and need to complete the trifecta.

What. The. Hell. I did not like this atomic wings location. I go to other locations on UES, big vat of chili in bowl size given on delivery.
Here? They give you ½ the size, wtf? And the macaroni and cheese. A sad, sad story. Noodles with melted cheez whiz. Disgusting.
The food came in 5 min to my apartment. That was a bad indication there.
Never again this location because its crap food and they jip you on the amount.
