Had an issue but the owner called to resolve very genuinely and thoughtfully.

Very cute spot with fun décor — palm trees, cats and Dolly Parton! Great music and very friendly staff. Yummy pumpernickel everything bagel with beet horseradish cream cheese.

Our office has ordered from this place several times. Every single order is always wrong, and takes forever to arrive, despite the location being 4 blocks away. Yesterday we spent $ 15 on a bagel with lox that arrived without anything on it. Today when we called to see if we could get a refund, they offered to send a new bagel — yet again, incorrect. When we called back to dispute the 3 hour delivery time and SECOND incorrect order, we were offered 10% off our next order. I know what they can do with that 10%.

The ambiance of this place is like a diner, and its super cute. They always have great music in the background and the staff for the most part is very friendly. Their bagels are delicious, better than other places I have been and their lox is good. I got the novel last time but should have gotten the one with the herbs on the edge(forget the name) because it was much better. Service for the most part is good, but they always get your order right(who doesn’t love that!).

A cute and charming spot on the border of Little Italy and Chinatown, Baz has quickly become one of my favorite morning spots. I’ve eaten here a handful of times now and the bagels have been made to perfection. They are super fresh and have so many choices for you to add to make your perfect bagel combo. There are so many different types of bagels but also fresh and interesting spreads! The space looks like a cute little diner with tables and also counter top space to sit. If you just want to grab and go, this is also another option. The service here is super friendly, although sometimes it can get super packed. I’ve really enjoyed coming here and will be back again soon!

If your hip Jewish grandma had a bagel café, this would be it. This spot is soooo cute and the menu is full of Jeiwish faves– matzoh Brei, lox and eggs, bagels, all ways and super shakes. This is the perfect«Goy» holiday destination. Ate in: Cinnamon raisin with scallion cream cheese Decaf Total $ 8.17 Initially they made the blasphemous mistake of toasting my bagel– no I shrieked! So they re-worked it. The plate comes out with a small fruit cup– yum and a half sour slice– loved that! The bagel was slightly warm, very good crunch and the fresh decaf was slam min’. Some of the bagels, like the plain looked undercooked, but if you are looking for the ultimate bagel café experience, Baz is it!

Breakfast is consistent at this little spot. Fresh beagles made everyday I can’t complain. Although the potato latkes haven’t been consistent with moistness might be the only little thing that’s a gamble here. Besides that I’m here quite often. Very good!

The food is good — not great, but good — and the staff are generally friendly, helpful and apologetic. Their delivery service is appalling, though, which is why they get two stars. We’ve ordered from Baz three times — simple stuff like bagels and cream cheese, once a grilled cheese sandwich — and every time the food has taken over an hour to arrive, hot food has been ice cold, cold food has been warm/melted. The first time they blamed the delay on San Gennaro and gave us a discount for our next order, so we gave them a second(and third) chance. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Unless«they» are actually one old lady making everything from scratch and delivering it herself(in which case I apologize, Bubbeleh), Baz has disappointed me for the last time.

Great service and friendly staff. :) I got the pumpernickel bagel with beet & horseradish cream cheese and a side cucumber salad. The bagel I had was surprisingly very delicious. I was curious to see how that cream cheese tasted so they gave me a sample before I ordered. I reccommend this meal and definitely coming back :)

solid 3. i can find better tasting bagel sandwiches in brooklyn for a much cheaper price. i ordered the baz original. it only had cream cheese, salmon, tomato, and onions. the bagel didn’t even taste that good to rave about it to my friends. not sure if i want to come back and give it another chance seeing how i spent over $ 10 on a bagel sandwich when i can get in other places for less than $ 10.

Food is delicious. Delectable. Sheer joy swept across my face the moment I took a bite of their signature BAZ bagel. The water cups are way too small though. With food that salty, I recommend larger cups, or that they leave a pitcher on the table. I’m literally so thirsty right now

Have to say I was pretty disappointed after reading so many great reviews. Ordered the cowgirl omelette. First off the girl at the front taking my order did not remember anything I said so I had to give her my order twice. She said it would take ten minutes to get the order to go, it took twenty minutes. This all would have been fine if the food was amazing– but it wasn’t. The omelette was not an omelette, it was a scramble with at the most two eggs. They also forgot the cheese! The bagel was OK, it wasn’t the best bagel of my life. The cream cheese tasted king of weird and they didn’t even give me enough for one side of my bagel. Not worth.

Ordered from grubhub and the order took about an hour to come to my door. that’s fine, i was expecting that as they gave me a long estimated wait time. I ordered a western omelette with a bagel with scallion cream cheese and an extra order of bacon. The omelette, which was 13 dollars with the added cream cheese charge, was the size of a bar of soap and the 3 dollar order of bacon was ONESTRIPOFBACON. They also forgot my cream cheese on my bagel, so i’m now just eating a dry, nothing to rave home about, everything bagel. I don’t know how the actual experience is going in store, but be weary of getting delivery from here. don’t end up in my shoes, paying 20+ dollars for a meal and being unsatisfied and hungry.

Bagel adventure continued! I ordered the everything pumpernickel with beet and horseradish cream cheese and I was in for disappointment. They need to put more cream cheese! Besides that, I was amazed with their bagel. It seemed like a regular deli bagel, in terms of texture, with pink colored cream cheese.

While on the way to the bank, I decided to spot and get a bite to eat. Nothing big just a flagel, a flat bagel. My friend met up with me and decided to grab one too. it was such a cute little place. I felt like the place used to be an ice cream bar the way it was set up. Food wise, they had a lot of bagel options with toppings. The place seemed very popular but it was also around 12pm. but it was still pretty easy to grab and go.

Amazing! Love this place. My bagel had both sable and Scottish Salmon, both were super tasty. The bagel(an Everything) was perfectly chewy. The side of coleslaw was also awesome. Our waitress was really sweet and helpful. Tables are a bit tight, but I would definitely highly recommend Baz and look forward to coming back!

A great option when you’re in the mood for a classic bagel meal(and when are you not in the mood for a bagel)? On the edge of Chinatown/Little Italy, it’s a welcome sight when you’re not in the mood for super authentic Chinese food or super inauthentic Italian food. It’s a long, narrow diner with a counter at the front where you can order to go. I’d love to sit at their counter sometime soon and just have a leisurely breakfast or lunch. So far, I’ve only taken out. The service up front is friendly, but it always takes a really, really long time to get my food. I always make sure to order an OJ or a coffee while I wait or else I’m likely to get pretty hangry. The breakfast sandwiches are always a great option, as well as their egg salad. They have some unique offerings like tofu cream cheese. Honestly, everything on their menu sounds pretty tasty so I’m excited to keep exploring. Next time I’m going to plan for a dine-in experience to see if the service is a bit quicker that way!
