Bella Napoli

This is our last meal before we head back to Seattle. It was perfect. Homemade mozzarella sticks with the most perfect light breaking. I’m traveling back for those. My husband ordered the lasagne. Homemade noodles and sauces. He couldn’t say enough about how fantastic it tasted. The rolls were fresh from the oven with a garlic-​olive oil and spices dipping sauce. I would come back for those alone. A nice glass of red wine complimented the special which was a spaghetti-​bacon red sauce. Highly recommend for a hearty, homemade Italian meal.

Okay, so this is a KILLER slice place. You can tell that this is a locals place, with all the riff raff crap cheapo places that have opened up in NYC this is the real deal. The staff and owners still have Italian accents and HOLY crap it was just perfect. The prices are very cheap and all the other stuff looked great. I did a peperoni and it was magnificent and then for the true test, a slice of PLAIN, yes just cheese. For the the true NYC slice you must have no toppings, just cheese and CRUNCH goes the crust. Perfecto!!!
Go to this place, walk past 10 other pizza joints that have 2 slices for .99 cents, they are cheap for a reason, they are to NYC pizza what McDonalds is to a hamguerger, crap.

Affordable, Large Portion of good pasta so definitely worth the price, Delivery is fast … Only complaint one small roll of bread with a huge dish of food. I had enough to put in the fridge and have for the next days lunch.

Amaaaaazing food!!! You HAVE to come here. Everyone is so sweet too! Definitely aiming back!!! :)))

Ignore the décor, pay attention to the food!
I normally eat their pastas but the pizzas in this place aren’t bad at all, this isn’t a 99cents pizza joint so don’t expect a tasteless meal.
this is a great place to order from if you’re hungry, the dishes are generous and rich just that sometimes it takes them up to an hour to show up but the wait is worth it.

Been here a number of times and liked it, but the last time left such a terrible impression when we brought out of town relatives, we’re never going back. THEY ADDED THEIR OWN AMOUNT TO THE TIP. We left a 15% tip on a meal that was decent, but the service was awful. Looked at the bank statement and they added an additional $ 10 to the tip. SCUMBAGS. Most of the tables were empty, but no one was cleaning them so the dirty dishes from previous patrons were left everywhere. It took our server 10 minutes to come take our drink order. When one of us asked for a fork and knife, he never brought it. And when we asked for more drinks, he never brought those. Not sure if they have new management, had bad staff on that night or what the issue was, but that was enough to deter us from ever returning.

This review is for catering. It was so, so good. The Bella Napoli salad was packed full of good stuff, very satisfying. The penne with pesto was probably the best version that I have ever had. So creamy and delicious, I could have eaten the whole tray. They eggplant rollatini was also very, very good. Delicious. Wasn’t a huge fan of the pizza, but I would definitely recommend ordering pasta, salad, and eggplant. Mangia!

Was there tonight for a quick late dinner with my wife. Nothing fancy but very friendly and down home place. Some nice italian wines and hot fresh baked bread. I had the chicken Francaise and my wife had the chicken marsala. Both very tender and tasty. Pasta with garlic, oil and fresh basil. Good steady place.

I ordered delivery from here not too long ago and the food lasted me about 2 – 3 days, which was awesome! I ordered the chef salad, spaghetti with meatballs platter and baked ziti platter. All these dishes satisfied my pasta and salad craving.
The packaging was very considerate and they included two rolls of bread. However, the bread became very hard after sitting out for a couple hours. The pasta itself was very good but the spaghetti noodles were somewhat watery, especially after being microwaved (leftovers).
I also ordered a coke and sparkling soda, which I thought was costly for a can ($ 2.50). The delivery was spot on (via GrubHub) and arrived exactly on time. Overall, the food was satisfying and filled my belly (big portion sizes)!

Tried this place because I was told that the pizza here is great. I had a Sicilian slice and it was okay. My daughter had a regular slice and said she didn’t like it at all. Even if their pizza was something to brag about, I can’t see myself returning any time soon. The tall, pale guy who rang up our order… ugh. I’m sure he thought himself funny or amusing but rude and obnoxious is more like it. Then as my 11 y.o. daughter and I were eating, pale face and crew are talking and cursing like sailors. Their pizza’s definitely not worth it. This is NYC where there’s a pizza joint on every block. This place can keep their mediocre pizza and obnoxious service.

After gorging on sandwich samples thanks to a corporate account, I finally decided to visit Bella Napoli itself. The décor and wall treatments are very much on the tawdry side, but it is successful in creating a dark and mellow atmosphere. It’s a nice sit down for what is still a short-​stay, informal eatery.
A lot of their food is one step above buffet style (precooked and sitting in the same ubiquitous trays) so the pastas are going to be generic flavored and far from authentic.
I do like their sandwiches though. I often get the Rustico with grilled chicken, sweet peppers, grilled eggplant and mozzarella. The chicken is soft, juicy and packed in the sandwich. The eggplant and dressing on the peppers make it far too sweet though. The mozz is great. It’s in between fresh buffalo mozz in water and the preprocessed variety. Soft but retains its body when heated.
People there are very nice. The owner in particular is a very generous man.

Impressive pizza in genuin Italian style. The peppers were hot and spicy like predicted in the menu. Outstanding service aswell. Worth a try for sure. Only drawback tonight was the entertainment. He had reaccurring problems with the music.

Amazing service! I ordered catering for a meeting with 5 clients a few weeks ago — tons of food and a great presentation at a great price. I didn’t try anything but it got rave reviews. I will most DEFINITELY be ordering from the again.

I can’t with this place. They are so frustrating.
Not only is the food overpriced & pretty mediocre, the customer service is absolutely abysmal. I order Seamless every once in a while for pickup and as most of you know, Seamless will send you an email confirmation to let you know that the restaurant received the order & to provide an estimated pick up time. I’d show up at the restaurant within the estimated pickup time (and sometimes even later), and every single time, they don’t even start preparing my order until I show up. That’s a problem.
Not only that, but getting an employee’s attention is difficult. I’ll often walk up to the register & there is an employee standing there who won’t address me for several minutes. So I have to just stand there until they feel like getting around to me.
The final straw was today, when I went to pick up my order. Again, I had to wait 3 – 4 minutes for the guy standing at the register to feel motivated enough to address me. Again, my order wasn’t prepped until I told him what I ordered, so I had to wait an extra 5 – 10 minutes when it should’ve been ready before I got there. And to top it all off, I check my email a few minutes after leaving the restaurant & notice a new message from Seamless letting me know that the restaurant felt the need to charge an extra $ 0.50 to my order. No explanation or anything, and I didn’t order anything that would warrant the additional charge. And naturally, I couldn’t get anyone to pick up the phone when I called to ask why I got charged.
I just can’t. Done.

Had the best meal at Bella Napoli — delicious home cooked pasta and a great bottle of wine!
Service was exceptional and live music too!

Hey just step into Bella Napoli, very nice and cosy stepped in the back where it’s nice and quit. What I really enjoyed about this place they don’t just serve pizza they actually have a full menu. The service was amazing. The waiter was attentive and gave us helpful advices as to what to take or what not take from the menu. My Friend ordered a custom pizza which was absolutely the bomb. The ingredients were natural and the favors were on point.
What surprised me when we got there. They have a singer on stage with Sinatra voice killing it. I was impressed and didn’t expect Italian restaurant can pull such a show. I’m definitely coming back for more. If not for the pizza then for the kitchen food.

My office has ordered pizza and house salads from here on 2 separate occasions, but have been during snow blizzards. Today they brought half of our order and promised the other half would arrive in 15 – 20 minutes — I’m okay with this, it’s really, really coming down out there!
So my thoughts on their pizza… IT’S SUPER DELICIOUS!!! When I think of «free office pizza» .99 cent slice quality comes to mind. Not that .99 pizza is always that bad, but it’s generally not memorable. Bella Napoli’s pizza is fantastic!
I’ve had their white pie, regular cheese pie, wilted garlic spinach/​ricotta, margarita Buffalo Chicken (actually pretty spicy and buffalo sauce is usually the threshold that I can handle) and their BBQ Chicken. All of them have been delicious, flavorful, really great pizza to topping ratios and I have nothing but positive things to say.
While I still need to check this place out in person, I can’t wait because if their delivery is this great then I assume it would be even better straight out of the oven. Bella Napoli rocks!

Have been eating here since 2002 & this is the best pizza in NYC. The people who work here are very kind and accommodating no matter what your particular likes/​dislikes may be.
Used to live 3 blocks away and moved away couple yrs ago (beyond the delivery area). I travel 3−5x’s a week just to get my «bella Napoli fix»!
Ingredients are very high quality. I like eggplant on pizza and eggplant here is fresh daily and never fried.

Just ordered Seamless from here. eggplant parm hero was alright, but I ordered a Diet Coke and they sent a Coke… so they are worthless.
Never will I waste my money here again. This is so simple that even a moron can get it right. If you can not tell the difference between the two, time to move on.

I have usually ordered here for corporate events and its always a hit. The buffalo chicken pizza is on point — and my person favorite.
However, I recently ordered just for myself and the whole thing was just a mess. The order took forever to arrive — which I don’t even really mind. But then the order was was all wrong, and all the pizza that we did order was smashed and the cheese was stuck to the top of the box.
I called back and they were very apologetic and corrected the problem. I have not gotten food delivered from them since — but probably will continue to order here, the buffalo chicken slice is too good to pass up.

Very Nice place. Very pleasant staff. Cheap and good. Very good family restaurant.
