Carnegie Nails

Esther did a great job on my gel mani looks flawless. Complete with a hand massage back rub and beck rub couldn’t ask for more.

I’ve been having a surprisingly hard time finding a really good place to get a manicure on the upper east side. I was thinking I’d have to settle for a rush job that lasted a day or two. Then a neighbor told me about Carnegie Nails. I loved the airy space, the comfortable manicure chairs and the friendly techs. My first manicure lasted over a week and even two weeks later my nails were nicely shaped and my cuticles healthy. I’m looking forward to becoming a regular customer.

I came here with a relative for pedicures about a month ago and I was very impressed. The pedicurist was very sweet, kind and friendly. She really scraped my heels which were dry and cracked, they felt soo much better afterwards. I love the sparkly red color, the polish has lasted over a month! All the nail techs are very friendly! The owner is so sweet too, she gave me a hug! I also love their manicures and chair massages!

Dashing Diva on Madison, which is our regular mani/​pedi place was busy so we walked a little further south and found this place. It’s fairly large, probably a little larger than Dashing Diva and also quite busy on the Sunday that we visited.
They have the massage chairs for the pedicure but they are not the best we’ve ever sat in. We decided to go for the Milk Spa pedicure. Normally at Dashing Diva we get the Spoiled Diva or some other spa pedicure package. Prices for the different spa pedicure at these two places are fairly similar. However you get much more of a massage at Carnegie Nails and after all, isn’t that why you get the spa pedicure vs. the normal one ;P.
In case you’re wondering the «we» is my husband and me. He’s very particular about the massage part and said that CiCi was amazing. I can’t remember the name of the lady that did my pedicure but she was also quite good. The manicure was fine, nothing to rave about.
We’ll probably come here instead of Dashing Diva next time we want to splurge on a spa pedicure.
