I have a bit of a obsessive compulsive streak when it comes to cleaning and order. This store makes that part of my heart sing each time I walk in! The door is flanked by a great range of flowers. Your usual suspects are always in stock such as roses, gerberas etc and a rotating selection of decorating florals and greenery. All sold at super reasonable prices. When you enter the store the color hits you it is floor to ceiling, door to door. Everything you need is here and it’s priced, clean and all labels are lined up. Pure visual bliss. I really like their coffee and it’s $ 1.75, take that hipsters! The fruit is always this side of fresh. The only complaint that I would have is that the sandwiches are not very tasty. Yes they are nice but its that finely grated/no flavour iceberg lettuce and cheap tomato type place. The bread is blah aswell. If they upped their game in this dept I would shop here daily. All round though this is the best in the neighbourhood.

The only thing hyper about this market are the hyper-inflated prices. Send me a rimshot folks. All said, this is a nice little convenience store slash mini-mart that has a lot of stuff you might need at the last minute, with good ol’ Chelsea prices.

Over-priced, not fresh, meat in case was moldy. Skip it. The newstand two doors down sells the same stuff for much less $$$

I like this place — I lived in the neighborhood for 2.5 years and would buy cut-up fruit there regularly. Their fruit is pretty fresh(although like in much of NY, it can be underripe) and they have a lot of different varieties available. I think their flower selection is also nicer than other convenience stores in NYC. I find that the people who work there are very friendly and nice as well. One day I forgot my wallet at home, and the lady actually gave me the food anyways and told me to pay her later. I thought that was really nice for the«big city.» Anyways, as I move to a new neighborhood, this is one of the neighborhood shops that I want to say a big THANKYOU to for their service to me over the years. I’m a fan.

since i work nearby the chelsea hyper market… i regularly visit the convience store/grocery sotre for sandwiches… they have a unique combination of sandwiches like my favorite which consists of pastrami, corned beef, swiss cheese, russian dressing on a roll or a hero(i choose the roll, its cheaper.)amazing, quick and friendly service.
