If you are shopping around for a setting, look no further. I went to a bunch of guys all over 47^th street, but not a single one was an nice and informative as Steven. He explained everything, and answered all my questions. Completely attitude free, unlock most of the guys in the industry. Highly recommended.

Came to these guys upon referral from an appraiser who warned that stones were likely to fall out of my wedding band due to the poor craftsmanship of the jeweler who custom-​designed it for me (Little King Jewelers, who are no longer in business last I heard — likely due to the fact that they have no issues with screwing people over and doing piss-​poor work). Sure enough, two weeks after my wedding I started losing diamonds.
Not only did Christina designs completely overhaul the ring, replacing all the diamonds, they provided me with a very good lesson on due diligence when it comes to finding the right jeweler. The average person has no idea what good jewelry is, they can only go on the experiences they have with a jeweler. Little King was good to us for the engagement ring (a unique sapphire stone) but their work on my wedding band (after seeing the work of true fine jewelers) I can’t believe we got so ripped off. When in doubt, always get a second opinion.
Good thing is, these guys are now my jeweler for life. I can’t say enough good things about them. They do all their work custom and they truly care about the work they do. Turn around times are incredible. Check them out — you won’t be disappointed.

My fiancé and I could not have been happier with the results of the engagement ring Steve created for us – art deco in style and based on an original design. We brought our initial design to Steve and he worked with us until the ring was *exactly* what we wanted, modifying to more appropriately produce a ring that is absolutely perfect for me. Steve’s desire to work with us is a huge part of why the finished product is so gorgeous — his attention to detail and understanding that an engagement ring needs to be «just so» makes a huge difference. As with many of the other reviewers, my fiancé and I absolutely will go back for wedding bands. I’m also sending all of my friends Steve’s way, whether for engagement/​wedding rings or other important jewelry!

I don’t know why Christina Designs doesn’t have a ton of Unilocal reviews because they’ve been in business for a long time and are great at what they do. They were recommended to me by a family friend who is an appraiser for an estate jeweler. She sends all her customers who need repairs or custom work here. I needed to get my vintage engagement ring resized, and they took only 24 hours and did a great job, and were really nice too. I would recommend them to any of my friends and will definitely go back.
