Such a fun, cozy and yummy place. Food is great and the staff are warm and wonderful! I keep coming back and it keeps getting better!

Fantastic restaurant — great, reasonably priced wine list. The Lasagna Dall ‘Orta was one of the best dishes that I have had in the last year!

Really more like 3.5 stars and it’s all for the ambiance and the service which are both really top notch. Everyone who works there is super attentive and kind and I love the simple décor. But the food just isn’t very good. It’s not terrible or inedible but it’s just not memorable or anything I want to eat again. I agree with other reviews that it was very salty plus my pasta was very oily. That being said, I still do recommend coming to Ciccio, sitting at the bar and enjoying an Aperol Spritz with a friend — just stick to an appetizer and don’t stay for dinner.

Absolutely divine food. A hidden precious gem, well known by regulars and clever people but unassuming and simple like a little trattoria on a side street in Rome. I can’t wait to go back.

This is so delicious and a great price for the area. You have to try the meatballs and meat and cheese plate.

My food was salty. Waiters were friendly but weren’t paying enough attentions to customers. Only 4 tables were filled but they were talking and laughing at bar area and did not notice I was trying to get their attention to order my food. It’s ok talking and laughing and enjoy the work but should position in a way that they can’t see what’s going on on the floor.

LOVE this place! Checked this place out with a friend of mine. They take reservations. The décor is beautiful with neutral tones all over the place(and low light that you can still see your dining companion.) I feel like Im at someone’s really nice Hampton’s beach house minus any snobby attitude. Really great for a dinner photo op haha. They have comfortable seating as well(I don’t take this for granted with the way restaurant design is going nowadays.) Food: I had the cauliflower soup w/barley: velvety smooth and delicious. My friend had the tuna tartar– she allowed me a bite from the kindness of her heart because she was devouring that plate. I typically don’t like seafood but trust me this tartar was to die for. Flavored just enough to still enjoy the fish, I think this was the stand out dish of the night! We both had a pasta dish– Tagliatelle and Strisce. Both really solid dishes. Won’t say this is the best pasta in the city but it was pretty good! Dessert was good. We ordered a bottle of wine and really enjoyed it They even bring out a bucket to keep our white cool which I appreciated it. The best part of this place is the service! Truly exceptional. The staff really know their food, wines, and recommendations were spot on. They even shared an after meal cocktails with us! Took our good experience to GREAT. I DEFINITELY recommend this place for family(when we went there were two families dining, one with tiny tots and one with teen boys), friends, or even a date(trust me your date will think you’re so cool for finding this chic and chill spot. You will not be disappointed.

Porchetta with beets was absolutely delicious. I can’t believe none of the reviews on here mention it. I cleaned my plate, not because I was hungry but because I couldn’t leave a drop of that savory goodness to waste.

Me: Ravenous, slightly hungover traveler seeking pasta and warm environment suitable for a relaxing, non-stressful meal. Ciccio’s: Subtly elegant, intimate restaurant. Charming window seat, with a back pillow and a bottle of wine. Dignified, well-developed menu and well rounded flavors. The tomato and bread soup was in the top ten most spectacular things I’ve ever put in my mouth. Our server was prompt, very knowledgeable and friendly as could be. Between the three of us that dined, we tried a pretty good portion of the menu, and had no complaints at all. Robust, fully developed flavors in all of the dishes. Excellent pasta; we had a linguine dish and the wide pressed noodles, both of which were prepared perfectly and paired with flavorful, delicious sauces. We also tried the gnudi, and that was phenominal. I tend to be a little nervous with the medicinal taste that can come around with sage, but it was perfectly utilized in the butter sauce served with the gnudi. Definitely give the place a try. It’s a perfect blend of delicious food, warm atmosphere, and tasteful class.

I met a friend here for dinner on a Friday at around 6:00pm. The place was deserted at first but got a couple tables filled after a bit. The food was good, and the restaurant was quiet which was good for an after-work dinner. Only negative was that the air conditioning was off until I asked for it to be turned on — it was a very hot and humid summer day. I’d return.

Sadly this place has lost its taste for good Italian food. 4 of us dined here and basically had most items on menu. All i can say is the 1 star is for the red sauce that is still good. The End

What a great spot. Had perhaps the best spaghetti carbonara ever. Great technique: they placed a poached egg on top and let you mix the sauce. It was superb! Really flavorful and not heavy at all. They have a small bar area and maybe 10 tables or so — I’m under the impression that it can be crowded at times.

I brought my friends to Ciccio to try it out with me and expected a lot from this place because it does have a 4.5 star rating. We were the first ones there for dinner and were seated right away. The restaurant itself has a very nice ambiance, very cute and cozy. The service wasn’t that great even if we were the only ones there. We also told them to split the check with 2 cards/gave them specific directions, but they still managed to mess it up. The food also took around 30 minutes to come out. Now as for the food my friend ordered the Lasagna and was pretty satisfied with it. I personally liked it too, so I would recommend that. As for me, I ordered Risotto Al Frutti Di Mare, but instead of risotto I changed it to tagliatelle. The seafood in this pasta was very delicious, but the pasta itself was very bland. I wasn’t impressed at all. Maybe it’s because I asked to change it to a pasta, but I was upset when I took my first bite into it.

Mmmm what an awesome little place! A close friend of mine just moved in right around the corner so we decided to check it out for dinner. The space is cute, clean, simple and special. It just feels special. The white brick walls and simple hanging lights make you feel so welcome. The food is delicious, from the octopus to the meatballs to the seafood and fresh homemade pasta. We ordered a side of green beans that were so good they didn’t even taste like what we thought of green beans. They were perfectly browned with salt and garlic and shaved Parmesan. And the drinks are really unique and really tasty. Mine had vodka celery olive oil and black pepper among other flavors… And maybe that sounds weird but it’s actually phenomenal! The most unique delicious cocktail I’ve had. It reminded me of when I watched a documentary on El Bulli and Ferran Adria was trying to create a drink with drops of olive oil in it. A surprisingly brilliant innovation! It was about $ 50 pp but so nice to find a true gem of a quality restaurant in the city that isn’t crazy crowded. This place is worth a visit! 4.5 stars but rounding up because it clearly beats out other 4 star places nearby.

Staff really took care of me. Burrata is good, i have had better. I splurged for the gnocchi which was very good, as was the tiramisu. We had four bottles of red wine(it was so good, and the weather was so cold out) and enjoyed ourselves. Its warm and inviting, everything made fresh. Jonah Hill was sat next to us, cant complain about that. Really involved and attentive staff, even down to the owner. Grazie!

This place is awesome! I’m so glad I found this place for a variety of reasons: 1) quality, creative food 2) great service 3) availability on a Saturday night(made reservation day before) 4) good prices! I came here with my mom and we had been snacking throughout the day so we told our server we’d be sharing everything for dinner. We started with the chilled pea soup and they separated it out into two bowls which was much appreciated – they did this for our entrée too! The soup was fantastic. A nice hint of mint, cream and fresh peas – I honestly couldn’t get enough. Next time I will NOT be splitting this. I also really want to try the meatball appetizer because the meatballs on the pasta were melt in your mouth amazing – more on that in a little. My mom and I also shared the cheese and meat plate which was quite a lot of food! It wasn’t the most exciting of meat and cheese varieties, so I’ll probably get something else next time. For the entrée, I had the tagliatelle with meatballs and it was amazing! The pasta is handmade which makes me really happy – nothing better than Italian restaurants making their own pasta! The sauce wasn’t too heavy and the tomatoes were really fresh(I liked the touch of fresh basil also). The meatballs were the real star though(which is saying something because I dream of the type of al dente homemade tagliatelle Ciccio serves). They weren’t heavy or dry at all – pretty much a pillowy cloud of savory meatball goodness. When dessert rolled around we opted for the panna cotta. It was a little thick for my taste, but the flavor was nice and I liked the red wine reduction. Next time I might go for the tiramisu, it looked tasty! I can’t want to come back here – get in while it’s new and not too busy!
