This was the shit, and some of the most fun i’ve ever had only having one drink. It’s certainly one of the best Events ideas ever. It’s cheap, it’s classic, it’s just picky enough(considering smoking, and more specifically smoking cigars, is a very narrow slice of the population), but still open to anyone, in a chill place. Low on breaking the bank, high on smoke filled«cool guy» newsies ambience. Review under Café Circa Tabac.

I wasn’t there but I smelled Rob and Javier’s coats. Almost as good as being there.

A great night with a great group of people, and of course great cigars. It was pleasure hanging out with all the fantastic Unilocalers, and I’m looking forward to doing this again soon!

A reserved table at a charming, art-deco cocktail lounge that allows cigar smoking? What’s not to like about that! It was a night of savoring the moment and meeting Unilocal friends in person that featured: –The art and ritual of lighting up and puffing out blue rings of smoke from robustos, torpedos, toros and other phallic shaped cigars by Partagas, Cohiba, Montecristo, Romeo Y Julieta, La Gloria Cubana, CAO. –Sipping on single malts from Dalwhinnie, Glenlivet, blended whiskys from Johnnie Walker & Chivas Regal and bourbons from Makers Mark & Knob Creek. Too many pluses to mention at this moment. Even the small minus(out of nowhere, they started playing«Part-Time Lover» by Stevie Wonder, WTF?) turned into a plus as it gave us the chance to remember and laugh at bad pop songs. Most of all, it was a pleasure to chat, drink & laugh with this friendly, warm, charismatic group of Unilocalers! Everyone was a class-act — no cheapskates in this group when it came to settling the tab! Michael F. deserves a round of applause for successfully pulling off this event — one that I hope will be the first of many more cigar nights!
