«Cruising down the street in my 6−4…jockin’ the freaks, clockin’ the dough…» — this was my SuperHero Song of the Day this past Tuesday, as I was playing hooky from work.
Going down 6^th Ave this all came to a semi-​halt as I saw before me a tray of free frozen yoghurt… I said ‘sure, why not… gimme the pink one…’…SuperHero Song of the Day was cut to a quick… that pink stuff was *oohhh weee*.
So I asked the guy what flavor it actually was…‘pomegranate’, he said…‘get outta here’, I said…‘I can’t, but it’s really pomegranate’, he replied.
That pink stuff (aka pomegranate) was really, really good… the prices weren’t as much. Almost $ 5 for a small… an ill-​served small.
It’s worth a try… but that’s as far as it goes for me.

Yes, frozen yogurt shops have taken over our city. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to stop trying every single one.
Though Pinkberry and Red Mango certainly hold special places in my heart since they opened my eyes to this world I have hurled myself into, other shops have begun to replicate, if not surpass the quality of their yogurts.
Red Mango tops Pinkberry for me, simply because of it’s creamy consistency and I think CocoPlum does an excellent job of achieving that creaminess as well! I was floored by how good their yogurt was when I first tried it, and am still amazed that there are never any customers there when I pass by.
The atmosphere inside CocoPlum is similar to Pinkberry– bright lights, white plastic chairs, and clean lines– but they’ve added a bit of a tropical vibe.
Though CocoPlum offers slightly less toppings than the Mango and the Berry, they have a different alternative flavor to the original and green tea– Pomegranate. I have yet to try it, but will soon do so. Heed my advice and give this place some business, people!
