Sat this location closed out of nowhere. It was perfect as i work in the building so on rainy, cold, or snowy days it was a perfect option. Also, loved their veggie soups.

«Not my cup of tea» Wanted to try a new place, food is alright. Service was just that, service. No smile. But the weird part was the lay out of the restaurant… We ordered on one side of the building, but then had to walk all the way to the other side to pay… I don’t think they do that all the time, at least I hope not. Overall, it’s always good to try a new place. It can either become your new place to go, or remind you of why you why your favorite place is indeed your favorite place. For me, cosi was the latter.

This place is a hot mess! Bread and veggies are flying everywhere. Very disorganized and the staff is kind of rude. Also very unsanitary. Person was cutting up my panini in a section where another employee had just layed their dirty hand.

One of the guys at Cosi made me a fresh strawberry banana non-fat yogurt smoothie that was not on the menu out of the goodness of his heart. Great service here. The people that work here are super nice!

I wouldn’t necessarily suggest this place for a sit down dinner but it’s perfect for a quick lunch! I come here all the time because it’s a block from where I work. It’s crazy packed during the lunch rush but they make it work very efficiently. I usually get the take two with the creamy tomato soup. It is so well flavored! I’ve also gotten the Vietnamese pork sandwich which was very well flavored(but I would recommend eating if while it’s still hot). I recommend buying your lunch and going somewhere else to eat it since the atmosphere is very hectic and not so inviting. However, the food is well prepared and flavored and priced!

For some reason this location is much less giving of the toppings for their sandwiches. Felt like they were counting the pieces of the shredded cabbage, carrots, and daikon for the pork belly flatbread. Very generous on the sauce on the otherhand as I could barely taste anything else than ginger.

Solid choice for lunch in Times Square area. Superstars here are their breads — flatbreads, squagels, etc… Just fantastic. All of their food are really good though… salads, soups, breakfast sandwiches, etc… Service is spotty… I find that during peak times, everyone is friendly; if you come during non-peak times, it’s usually not so hot… it’s almost like you are ‘bothering’ the staff, as they are baking, stocking, or whatever. Not such a good customer service model. Anyway, the food trumps this… stop by when you get a chance.

I love this place. I love Cosi in general, but this location has been good to me since I started working in midtown three months ago. As of about a month ago, I decided to make it my Friday treat to come here(I bring lunch every other day). I almost always get the caeser salad, because I’m a basic bitch, but it’s always so tasty and fresh. Of course, the flatbreads are the real MVP of Cosi. I usually get the multigrain bread, which is served warm. I especially love this place because when you walk in, there’s a little bowl where they have rectangular slices of the bread to sample. Sometimes when I’m passing by the guys making the bread, they’ll call me over and give me another piece. If I ever get proposed to, I hope that the engagement ring is nestled inside of warm bread. The people that work there have consistently been very friendly and helpful to me. Sometimes I even get a little conversation going if it’s not too busy. My favorite moment recently was when I was on line, and the girl looked at me and said next, even though I was not by her register. Then a young businessman walked up before I could get to her and handed her his food. I was willing to let him go first, but the girl looked him dead in the eye and said, «no, I called HER.» I then signed myself up for a Cosi rewards card. I also really enjoy the location itself, the windows are huge so I always grab a table by the front, where I can peer out onto the busy streets of midtown and people watch. Maybe it’s because I work in a windowless office, but eating lunch here most literally brightens my day.

Ordered a hot tea. They keep the water in a warmer that held coffee so my tea tasted like old stale coffee.

sunday breakfast. all i can say is utter confusion if you have never been there before. The employees were uncouth and rude like they didn’t want to be there. if you dont want to work there go find another place. Seriously. Why is the coffee bar in some other location? They seriously need a restaurant redemption/makeover. Make the ordering process seamless. I truly felt the way they made the sandwiches was so backwards. I would not recommend this location or this place at all.

This place might only have two stars but for someone like me who works nearby and has a super short lunch break, those two stars are GOLD. That said, if you have a little more time and a little more money, try somewhere else. The bread is good, but only when it’s fresh – hit or miss. Sandwiches are ok – sometimes made well, sometimes sloppily. Again, hit or miss. The salads are pretty good. BBQ pizza is consistently on point! Unfortunately, the staff is frequently unprofessional and the dining area isn’t generally clean. I love this spot because it’s been there for me in many a crunch but I gots to keep it real! Don’t let the evening wait service fool you – this is a fast food joint, mediocre at best.

Food is good. Had the turkey brie. A lot of people, but not annoying. Bathroom is a singke, so line could be long. But, the music and food aroma makes it a relaxing place.

Only came here because I was working in the building it’s attached to. Big mistake. They have a horrid supply chain setup for having any of the ingredients they ever need, and they can’t see to work in a line to get the food out quickly and in order. Adversing apple cider but doesn’t have any, they told another guy they didn’t have skim milk… what’s going on here? Oatmeal is not ready, one worker said, «Good thing I made more oatmeal.» What do you mean good thing? Why don’t you all have batches of it ready? And even then the oatmeal still wasn’t ready. Then the woman filling the oatmeal orders made a complete mess of everything. The manager offered us free coffee, I don’t want coffee I want my food and to get back upstairs. It’s just too confused not one person knows what is happening. I see why Cosi disappeared from New Jersey now. Everyone just runds around in circles. Not pleased, I read there’s a McDonald’s nearby I’ll start going there for my breakfast.

This is the most foul Cosi open today. From the disgusting food to nasty employees there are no good qualities this establishment has. I work in the building and rather walk outside in 2 degree temperatures or rain than visit Cosi. Every time I have visited I actually get nasty looks as I PAY — that’s right, hand my money over to them. Please close and put something good at 1633. Oh and keep your moldy lettuce Cosi.

I stopped in because I thought this would be a healthier breakfast choice than Mc Donalds across the street. I tried the breakfast sandwich on a squagel and was disaapointed. I ended up giving the other half to a bum on the street with a sign that said he was hungry. I would’ve rather gone to Mc Donalds.

I don’t normally rate places like this because they are assembly lines made for mass production. I went to this particular location over the weekend and will avoid it in the future. They could easily do better and choose not do better. The food was actually OK. Give it three stars. The service operation is a disaster. Place an order with one person, retrieve it from another person — who has no idea how to distinguish my order from anyone else’s order — and then walk from the back of the restaurant to the front to pay. The tables are crowded together and not cleaned regularly. There seems to be a high expectation for customers to fend for themselves. Fortunately, it has a toilet for customers that need to expel the contents of their pleasing meal. However, this Cosi is a one-holer. Yep. Men and women get to stand in line for a single porcelain unit. Management: consider a customer service model. Oh yeah. It’s Times Square. You can soak the tourists and the nearby office workers and be comfortable with the reputation of your company’s quality — in other locations than this one.

the only thing i ever get at this place is the tomato bisque soup. The soup is excellent! But geez, the lines in this place is all unorganized!!! I HATE standing in line! There are 3 lines, but you cant tell what line is for what? One for soups and salads, the other for sandwiches and other stuff. I stood on line for 15 mins before realizing i was on the wrong one. Other than the hectic lines… i like the fast service and the soup.

This is a great lunch spot. And it’s less expensive than Hale & Hearty(even though I love them) which gets points in my book. I usually go in for soup but this time I did the half n’ half order and got the greek salad which was a perfect portion and the southwestern chicken and corn chili soup. I’ve had this soup before and I don’t *love* it, but I don’t hate it either. I just feel it’s missing… something. And their flatbread? Oh wow. This is the stuff dreams are made of. It’s soft, lightly salted and just beyond delicious. IYou can get it in regular or whole wheat. Now, i I could just kidnap one of the bread makers…
