David Rothman Framers

Highly recommend. I had a special situation where I needed someone to come by my apartment to fix the frame on a large painting that would’ve been too hard to move. I spoke with David Rothman and emailed pictures to describe my particular situation. The following week, a gentleman named Rubin made the house-​call with the right hardware for the job. Rubin (who also happens to be an artist himself) was TERRIFIC and he clearly knew what he was doing. He secured the painting to the frame beautifully and I couldn’t be more pleased. He also affixed small silicone bumpers to the bottom of the frame to help protect it from the wall and keep the painting from tilting when hung. I thought that was a nice touch. From start to finish, the service was outstanding — professional and also personal. These are framers you can trust with valuable artwork.
I believe they mainly do high-​end custom framing for artists and galleries. I don’t fall into either category — but if you have framing needs for a special and/​or expensive piece of artwork, I would not hesitate to recommend these guys. Pricing was very reasonable.

The staff and service here is AMAZING. They deal in high-​end framing, and they took care of my every need. Run, don’t walk!
